Chapter 1500: Chapter 527: True Self, Return of the Ancestors (Part 2)

The innate talent of Self-evolution gradually weakens when one reaches the Heavenly Human Rank, as beings at this level have already realized the leap in their life positions.

Merely relying on the innate talent of Self is gradually becoming insufficient for their progress, and will completely lose efficacy upon reaching the rank of Heavenly King.

To continue advancing on this path, one must understand and excavate the "True Self," comprehend the True Self nature, and perceive one’s True Spirit being—

At this point, one begins to touch the origin of everything—True Spirit Heavenly Rank!

The reason all beings have gradually started to perceive their True Spirit in the past century is due to the World Venerable of the Federation, who opened the way to the world, allowing all spirits in the Sea of Realms to glimpse the true Supreme Dao!

For all spirits, the True Spirit is too distant, while Self seems like a weakened form of the True Spirit, letting all spirits enter.

Self’s projection in the present world is the initial distortion of True Spirit upon the present world.

Once this path is pushed to the extreme, achieving True Spirit Unity, with just one’s thoughts, one can recreate Heaven and Earth!

According to the documents, to this day, the only World Venerable who possibly entered this first layer domain still sits high above, suppressing the Heaven Rank for all spirits.

The documents also mention many "Cultivation Methods" related to the True Self nature, but there are no specific details. Roger spent some time searching and recorded them in his mind, preparing to bring them back to civilization.

In the end, he was left with only one question: why is it that in his civilization, only a very small portion awakens their Self?

Does this depend on luck?

Yet, as he observed the Yanhuang Federation, he could hardly find any examples of individuals unable to awaken their innate talents of Self. Instead, various talents of Self emerge in endless variety.

After reviewing a lot of information, Roger suddenly came across a paper by "Dr. Chen."

It recorded many innate talents of Self and what those who awaken them truly desire, ultimately concluding—

No one would dislike or be dissatisfied with their innate talents of Self, as they represent their most fundamental, essential desires.

And finally, Dr. Chen posed a thought-provoking question:

[If a being lacks a very strong desired object, or does not possess a complete independent Self, does it mean they find it difficult to awaken their innate talents of Self?]

Roger began focused searches on all papers by this person.

[...The latest investigation report, based on surveys of several God systems, shows that zealots—those wholly devoted to Gods—have an extremely low proportion of individuals who awaken their innate talents of Self, suggesting that this path contradicts the Divine path.]

[...Is the innate talent of Self a shortcut bestowed upon the world by the World Venerable?]

[...Recently, we conducted another investigation, starting from civilization and social environments. It concluded that a civilization which in many aspects, such as living environment and cultural awareness, ’extinguishes’ strong personal desires, presents a cliff-like drop in the probability of awakening among its members.]

Seeing this, Roger’s heart sank hard, and a chill instantly rushed up from his spine to the top of his head.

His civilization is strictly hierarchical, emphasizing collective supremacy, where the will and desires of individuals are guided and trained from birth to be ’useful’ for the collective.

Unique ideas are considered heresy, excessive desire is criticized as selfishness.

People are educated to be content with their designated roles and fate.

The environment they are in has long, imperceptibly suppressed their Heavenly Nature, extinguished that most primitive and vibrant Life Force capable of igniting Self and awakening its reflection?

Roger took a deep breath and continued reading.

[But to put it another way, those who awaken their innate talents of Self in such environments are also stronger. Perhaps they are the collective consciousness’s chosen... Resistance Army? Or Fire?]

"Resistance Army..."

Roger murmured to himself, his expression dazed.

[Building on previous experiments, we further confirmed that because of certain changes, those who give up on themselves also find it difficult to awaken their innate talents of Self—no one can save those who abandon themselves.]

Seeing this, Roger’s eyes sharpened. His cousin, though not self-abandoned, habitually relies on others in everything...

[Based on numerous previous investigations, we concluded that the True Spirit path is one of excavation and pursuit of Self. The World Venerable once said, ’I Am Supreme,’ which roughly means this.]

[Everyone, the Three Realms are like Fire House, only self-salvation can work!]

[To end, I give you four words—unceasing self-improvement.] 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

With each line he read, Roger finally grasped the root cause.

It wasn’t the World Venerable’s "favoritism," but their civilization that determined their difficulty in awakening the innate talents of Self.

He suddenly became uncertain of what kind of stir this news might cause if brought back to civilization...

As for his cousin, it became rather simple; just temper his nature, but the means needed to be somewhat ruthless...

While Roger’s thoughts were drifting, suddenly a group of fully armed individuals rushed in from outside the door, their aura not weak. The leader appeared in Roger’s perception as not only a Heavenly Person but a Heavenly King?!

"Everybody sit tight! Provide your identity information one by one; this place is sealed!"

Sealed? Roger was taken aback, glanced at the screen, and thought fortunately he had already obtained the desired things.

Roger regretted a little, as yet another "Holy Land" where Latecomers could witness truth had been lost.

As each guest had their identity checked and recorded, when it was Roger’s turn, he hesitated for a moment and looked at the leading female Heavenly King with a sword at her waist, and asked softly:
