"Leader, I just went over to examine Wu Shaochang’s body and came to a preliminary conclusion."
"What conclusion?" Sima Lingyun immediately asked.
"According to the police investigation, the truck driver who ran over Wu Shaochang committed suicide out of fear of the huge compensation demands after killing someone. However, based on my investigation, there was no sign of fear or panic in the driver’s eyes before dying. What he displayed before death was entirely an act."
The deep voice continued slowly, "Moreover, I also found out that before Wu Shaochang died, he had stayed for a period at a private club on Qin Island called Heavenly Person."
"Heavenly Person’s private club?"
Upon hearing this, Sima Lingyun’s eyes glinted sharply as he asked gravely, "Have you investigated the Heavenly Person private club to see who Wu Shaochang interacted with there?"
"I have checked that, but found nothing. Whether it’s surveillance footage or anything else, all have been erased. Even the staff at the Heavenly Person private club cannot say who Wu Shaochang met with. They only know he entered one of the top-level rooms, but it had long been vacated, leaving nothing behind, not even fingerprints."
