Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Li Chenlin’s Impotent Rage Outside the Door

Steam filled the bathroom, thick and hazy.

Two hours later, the bathroom door finally opened.

Lu Tingyan, in his half-Beastman form, emerged with the little rabbit in his mouth.

The air was filled with the intoxicating, dominant, and crisp scent of tequila, intertwined with the soft, sweet fragrance of peach.

The little rabbit, utterly exhausted, was gently set down.

The fluffy little rabbit sank into the center of the bed, creating a small shadow, looking exceptionally pitiful and endearing.

The enormous Wolf Beastman drew close, his nose touching the little rabbit’s.

Nose-touching was a gesture reserved only for the closest of companions.

"Baby, change back. We’re not finished yet."

The little rabbit groggily opened her eyes. Seeing the Wolf Beastman before her, her rabbit eyes instantly widened. "No! You big jerk!"

In her animal form, the little rabbit was especially delicate, and even her hoarse voice sounded much more childlike.

Lu Tingyan was in a partial Beastification. His head had taken on the form of a majestic, beast-like Snow Wolf, and the wolf tail behind him had grown thicker and larger. He seemed much taller than in his human form, standing nearly two meters tall. His enormous frame was like a towering mountain, an impressive sight as he stood by the bed.

Bai Su didn’t even have the strength to curse him out. "You promised you wouldn’t use Beastification! You lied! I’ll never believe you again..."

As the little rabbit spoke, she recalled the earlier scene where she thought her stomach was going to explode. Her scalp tingled with the memory. Feeling wronged, she covered her little face with her long ears and began to cry softly.

The massive wolf head drew close to the little rabbit, nudging its nose ingratiatingly against her tail. "Baby..."

The little rabbit kicked her legs. "Get lost!"

Forcibly suppressing a pleasant sensation, Lu Tingyan changed back into his human form. He let out a stifled laugh and, in a tone that was half-coaxing and half-ingratiating, licked the base of the little rabbit’s tail. "I’ve changed back. Is that better?"

The little rabbit carefully lifted one of her drooping ears. Through the gap, she saw that his narrow eyes were full of teasing laughter.

She huffed and turned her head away. "I’m still mad!"

Lu Tingyan gathered the little rabbit into his arms and kissed her fluffy little head. "Alright, don’t be angry. Change back. I’ll be gentler. You don’t want me to hold it in and suffer, right?"

After much pleading and coaxing while holding the little rabbit, she finally changed back into her human form.

A cunning glint flashed in the massive Snow Wolf’s eyes. He scooped up the little rabbit and, holding her in a position reminiscent of helping a child pee, resumed what they were doing before.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Li Chenlin’s sinister voice rang out from outside. "Open the door! Bai Su!"

"What are you doing in there? How dare you lock the door?"

"I decorated this room for you with my own hands! What right do you have to keep me out?"

"Bai Su!"

The knocking on the door was thunderous.

Bai Su, held aloft, could only use one hand to brace herself against his powerful arm, while her other hand desperately muffled her mouth, daring not to make a sound.

Li Chenlin suddenly caught a faint whiff of tequila seeping from under the door. His expression immediately darkened. "Lu Tingyan! You’re in there too, aren’t you?"

Bai Su wanted to beat him to a pulp.

’Damn Li Chenlin! Does he have to shout loud enough for the whole world to hear?’

’The little ones are all napping in their rooms. If they wake up, I don’t know how I’ll ever face them!’

Lu Tingyan’s lips curled as he put even more effort into his movements. "Susu, we’re engaged. Isn’t it better to make him back off?"

"Who does he think he is, pestering you like this?"

Bai Su was completely overwhelmed!

’Never before in my life have I been in such a frantic, chaotic mess.’

’And the culprit behind it all is the man plowing away behind me!’

Bai Su turned her head and shot him a vicious glare, not realizing that her passion-flushed appearance was all the more enticing.

She could only keep slapping his arm, signaling him to do something about the situation.

Hearing this, Lu Tingyan glanced at the snake-like stone sculpture on the bedside table—something Li Chenlin had picked up from who-knows-where—and raised an eyebrow.

He clamped her knees together, scooped them up with one arm so he was holding her with just one hand, and with his other hand, he quickly grabbed the stone sculpture and hurled it toward the door. "Busy here! Scram!"

The angry shouting outside came to an abrupt halt.

Bai Su hadn’t expected him to use such a crude method to stop the commotion outside. Overwhelmed by the intense shock, her toes curled and cramped, and she passed out.

Outside the door, Li Chenlin paced back and forth in a rage.

In the Beast World, it was normal for a female to have several Beast Husbands.

But he hadn’t managed to become Bai Su’s first Beast Husband, and that’s what he cared about most!

’To think that Bai Su and Lu Tingyan have already progressed to this stage.’

’If I force Bai Su to accept me now, wouldn’t I be ranked beneath Lu Tingyan?’

’That would be more unbearable than death!’

’No!’

"Fine. No female has ever dared to treat me this way. I’m going back to the Southern Country! Don’t you regret this!"

After roaring this, Li Chenlin turned and left the mountaintop.

After concealing his aura, he sinisterly took out his smart-brain wristband and sent a message to his subordinates...

Two hours later, Lu Tingyan emerged from the room, refreshed and invigorated.

If not for an urgent matter from the military department, he wouldn’t have left so easily. He would have at least stayed to cuddle his little rabbit for the night, waited for her to wake up, and then properly apologized and coaxed her before leaving.

The messages on his wristband continued to press him urgently.

Lu Tingyan activated the room’s security system. Only after confirming that Bai Su would be safe did he turn and leave.

For some reason, he felt a sense of unease in his heart, as if something was about to happen.

Lu Tingyan turned his head to look back toward the mountaintop. At the restaurant, only Bai Su’s room had a faint light on.

His little rabbit sometimes had to get up in the middle of the night, but she didn’t like turning on the lights, so she’d often bump into things while fumbling in the dark.

That was why he had installed a night light in her room.

It mimicked the brightness of moonlight—not too bright, but enough to see any obstacles in the room.

As Lu Tingyan’s vehicle drove away from the mountaintop, Li Chenlin emerged from the depths of the forest. He hacked the security system and easily slipped into Bai Su’s room.

The room was filled with the lingering scent of their debauchery. The little rabbit was curled up, her fur washed clean and dried, sleeping soundly in her rabbit’s nest. Her two drooping ears were adorably hugging her little face, covering her eyes.

Her soft rabbit belly rose and fell faintly. It looked like the little one was sound asleep.

’Perfect.’

Li Chenlin took out a vial of reagent and sprayed it on the little rabbit’s nose.

After confirming the anesthetic had taken effect, he dug the little rabbit out of her warm, soft nest, stuffed her into his pocket, and climbed out the window, disappearing quickly.

...

Bai Su felt she had slept very deeply and groggily. Occasionally, she could hear a strange sound of water.

When she woke up again, she found herself in a warm place. A faint, salty, fishy smell drifted in the air, and she could vaguely hear the sound of ocean waves.

The room was not her familiar bedroom, but one decorated in a blue and white Mediterranean style.

The clean, bright, and warm room didn’t give her a good feeling; in fact, it made her feel a little unsettled.

Bai Su dazedly clutched the soft, silky water-silk quilt beneath her and called out tentatively, "Lu Tingyan?"

The door to the room was pushed open, and in walked Li Chenlin.
