Chapter 121: Chapter 120: Cub No. 4 Appears
Bai Su returned to the restaurant, Bai Xue’s words replaying in her mind.
Would she really become a pariah, hated by everyone? Would all her children die...?
The system sensed her low spirits and comforted her: [Susu, don’t you worry! The female lead’s luck is on your side now. You’re the real female lead of this plane; she’s nothing!]
[Even if her prophecy is true, you have the ability to avoid that outcome in advance.]
Bai Su’s spirits remained low.
The system added: [And look, you cook every day, your food has healed so many people, and you have so many points in the store. There’s a ton of stuff you can redeem! Are you still afraid of her prophecy?]
A sudden thought made Bai Su’s eyes light up. ’If I save up enough new points, can I redeem Skills or cheats for my little ones?’
System: [Of course you can.]
Hearing this, Bai Su felt much more at ease, and an idea began to form.
’In other words, as long as I keep grinding the male lead’s affection level, and even get pregnant and have children, I can get more golden points.’
’Not only will I become stronger, but my little ones will grow stronger along with me.’
’In this world, it’s never a mistake to become stronger.’

When Bai Rongrong returned to the Bai family, she first went to find Bai Ruyan.
Bai Xue was his biological daughter, so he would surely be willing to believe her words.
Bai Ruyan was in the study, bragging to a group of males. He boasted that Bai Su was his daughter and Lu Tingyan was his future son-in-law, and how the Bai family would be able to walk all over everyone in the Imperial City, and even the entire Federation.
Bai Rongrong listened at the door for a moment, the corner of her mouth twitching. She then turned and went to the Female Protection Institution to find Bai Junlan.
Normally, she wouldn’t have the standing to meet with Bai Junlan.
But with Bai Xue’s fall from grace and Bai Su’s refusal to return to the Bai family, she had become the elders’ new candidate, so her status was naturally on a completely different level now.
Bai Rongrong reached the top-floor office. As it happened, Bai Junlan was not busy today.
Bai Rongrong’s face was a mask of panic. "President, they’re going to kill Bai Xue! You have to go save her!"
"Who?" Bai Junlan looked up from a pile of documents and glanced at her coldly. "Speak clearly."
Bai Rongrong was intimidated by her presence and took a long moment to compose herself, trying her best to appear poised and proper. "I just went to the mountaintop to see Susu, and I accidentally overheard them talking. Leader Lu said he was going to kill sister Bai Xue."
"I know the family will value me more without sister Bai Xue, but the Bai family has raised me for so many years. I can’t just think of myself and let the Bai family lose such a valuable female!"
She bit her lip. "Sister Bai Xue... she foresaw that Bai Su will destroy the Bai family."
"What did you say?!" Bai Junlan’s expression suddenly turned grave.
Bai Rongrong nodded quickly. "Aunt Rachel told me herself. She said that sister Bai Xue foresaw that the entire Bai family would be completely crushed because of Bai Su, and even the Female Protection Institution might be disbanded."
Hearing this, Bai Junlan was partly convinced.
Previously, Leader Lu had been a good-for-nothing whose spiritual power was crippled. Bai Xue had only cozied up to him in advance because she had used her foreknowledge ability to see his future trajectory.
Bai Junlan pondered for a moment, then looked up at Bai Rongrong with a sharp gaze. "What did you hear over at Bai Su’s place? Tell me every single detail!"
Bai Rongrong nodded hastily. "I didn’t hear much; they wouldn’t let me get close. I only vaguely heard them say... say that because of that incident back then, Susu holds a grudge against sister Bai Xue and wants revenge."
’This was the story she had prepared before coming here.’
’The only thing that could make Bai Su act against Bai Xue would be that incident from all those years ago, right?’
’After all, everyone knew the story of how Aunt Rachel had personally driven Bai Su out of the Bai family back then.’
’Now that Bai Su has made it big, it’s only logical that she’d take her revenge on Bai Xue, isn’t it?’
Upon hearing this, Bai Junlan lowered her head in thought.
’The Bai family alone isn’t enough to sway Lu Tingyan’s decision.’
’Besides, he rules with an iron fist and despises anyone who questions or interferes with his decisions.’
’Bai Xue absolutely cannot die at Bai Su’s hands!’
’Her foreknowledge superpower is a huge asset to the Bai family.’
Federation law does not permit the execution of females.
Especially females with superpowers.
’If Lu Tingyan insists on having his way, then he would be knowingly breaking the law—violating Federation law!’
After some thought, Bai Junlan decided to ask the Global Alliance for help to put pressure on Lu Tingyan.
’She refused to believe Lu Tingyan was so powerful he could defy the Global Alliance itself!’
On behalf of the Female Protection Institution, Bai Junlan sent an email to the Global Alliance. The message, filled with utmost grief and indignation, described Lu Tingyan’s atrocious behavior toward the females of the Bai family.
She then turned back to Bai Rongrong, her expression much softer. "You can go home for now. I will handle this matter."
Bai Rongrong nodded obediently. Just as she reached the door, she asked, "So... should I keep this a secret from the family?"
Bai Junlan was very pleased with her discretion. "Don’t say anything for the time being, not until there’s an outcome."
Only then did Bai Rongrong nod and exit the office.

「Global Alliance Office.」
A boyish-looking man leaned lazily in his office chair, his long, straight legs clad in a black military uniform and handsome military boots, casually crossed and propped up on the desk.
He wore a Global Alliance military dress shirt, beneath which a lean yet explosive physique was hidden.
A black military trench coat and cap were tossed casually to the side, the coat’s shoulders adorned with a series of rank insignias.
The boyish man had beautiful, soft golden hair, with a pair of white cat ears on his head.
His beautiful, narrow blue eyes were lazily half-closed, a lollipop dangling from his mouth as he yawned repeatedly.
He was dozing off when an email caught his attention.
He clicked it open and saw it was full of bureaucratic jargon, righteous indignation, and rage.
The man scoffed. "My brother’s getting complained about again, huh?"
He yawned lazily, glanced at the digital clock on the wall showing exactly 16:00, and picked up his coat to leave. "Xiao Li, you handle this email. I’m off the clock."
The man called Xiao Li nodded quickly. "Yes, Brother Lan!"
Wen Lan slapped his military cap crookedly onto his head, his manner utterly unrefined. "Don’t mess this up. Forward the email to your department, and remember to delete it after three days."
Xiao Li nodded again like a chick pecking at rice. "Understood, understood!"
Wen Lan yawned, and the cat tail behind him swayed gently.
He always looked as if he could never get enough sleep.
At first glance, he resembled a beautiful, elegant big cat, but a closer look revealed a somewhat unrefined and hearty temperament that balanced out his delicate features, making him quite handsome in a lasting way.
Wen Lan hopped on his "big steel cannon" and headed straight for the kindergarten.
He timed his arrival perfectly with the kindergarten’s dismissal.
The Little Beastmen rushed out in a torrent, running straight toward their fathers.
A soft, sweet little female Drooping Ear Rabbit, dressed in her kindergarten uniform of a plaid shirt and a small skirt, with a little red cap on her head, came hopping out with the crowd.
The moment she saw Wen Lan, the little rabbit began to flounce with excitement, darted forward, and threw herself at Wen Lan’s leg, hugging him tight. "Daddy!"
Wen Lan laughed, scooped the child up under her arms, placed her in front of him on the motorcycle, and gave her a big kiss. "Such a good girl. Did you listen to your teacher in kindergarten today?"
The little Drooping Ear Rabbit nodded sweetly, her eyes crinkling into two little crescents that could melt any heart. "I did!"
The little one had a face that was almost identical to Bai Su’s—a miniature version with chubby baby cheeks, looking impossibly innocent and adorable.
The little one sat obediently on the front of the motorcycle, then tilted her head with a troubled expression. "There’s another family activity this weekend. Teacher said Mommy has to come."
At the mention of "Mommy," a flash of disgust crossed Wen Lan’s eyes.
He lowered his gaze to hide his expression and ruffled the little rabbit’s hair with his big hand. "Didn’t you tell your teacher that your daddy is worth four people, so you don’t need a mommy to show up?"
The little one nodded. "I did! But Teacher said Daddy is bragging, and that Mommy has to come this time."
Wen Lan clicked his tongue. "Tsk. Fine. You can pick one later. Should it be your Auntie Xiao Hong or your Little Blue Aunt this time?"
The little one grinned. "Okay!"
