"Little Sister, Miss Wen is here."
Ao Yi had gone to invite Wen Qing over early in the morning, and Yu An was waiting in the courtyard.
"Boss Yu, did you need to see me about something?"
Ao Yi hadn’t explained the reason for the visit, so Wen Qing was a little flustered. Seeing this, Yu An gestured for her to sit. "Miss Wen, don’t be nervous. I only asked you here to have a little chat."
"Have some tea first. See how you like it."

Wen Qing grabbed her hand, tears dripping down her cheeks. "Boss Yu, do you know? Every single day and night since I left Invincible City, I’ve been thinking about my two children."
"It’s all because I’m useless. I failed to protect them. I keep thinking, if only I hadn’t let them go out that day, would they have been taken?"
Wen Qing sobbed, "It’s all my fault... It’s all my fault..."
Yu An knew that what she needed most right now wasn’t comfort, but an outlet for her pent-up emotions. So, Yu An didn’t try to console her, simply letting her cry.
After a good while, Wen Qing’s sobs began to quiet down, and Yu An handed her a handkerchief.

"I know," Wen Qing said, forcing a smile. "I heard what you said. To be honest, I gave up hope long ago. If my children are still alive... I would be happy, of course."
"But if they’ve... if they’ve already met with misfortune..."
Tears began to fall uncontrollably again, and she hastily wiped them away. "If they have already met with misfortune, I want to be able to avenge them."
But she and her Beast Husband were just ordinary people, completely unable to fight back against the Invincible Alliance. If they could, they wouldn’t have left their home to come to Dragon City.

She had kept what she accidentally saw buried deep in her heart, not daring to reveal it to anyone. Not even her Beast Husband knew what she had witnessed.
That day, several of her Beast Husbands had gone out to buy things, and her two Zaizai insisted on going along. After they left, Wen Qing saw that the two Zaizai had left their heavy clothes at home, so she went out to find them, afraid they would get cold.
Who would have known that along the way, she would see several men in black capturing her Beast Husbands and her Zaizai. She was completely powerless. She wanted to save them but was unable to, so she could only tail them from behind, wanting to see where they were taking her Beast Husbands and Zaizai.
She was lucky and followed them the whole way without being discovered. In the end, she tailed the men in black to the outside of a residence.
