Chapter 418: Chapter : 418 : Enchanted!
Enchanted wooden cribs of various designs lined one entire wall — some carved from starwood that gently rocked themselves, others with floating canopies that projected constellations and soothing lullabies. Soft, magical blankets folded neatly in rainbow stacks, each one woven with temperature-regulation. Shelves overflowed with plush toys, nutrient-rich potions for lactating mothers, and decorative mobiles that danced with real stars and protective sigils.
Aiden walked slowly down the central aisle, hands still in his pockets, his crimson robe swaying behind him as he observed everything with a critical yet satisfied eye. The sheer variety impressed even him.
"This place is perfect," he muttered under his breath.
Lunara purred approvingly in his mind.
---
[It really is, Master. Look at those cribs... the quality is top-tier. Your children are going to sleep like royalty.]
---
Aiden reached out and ran his fingers along the smooth edge of a beautiful dark oak crib enchanted with silver runes. It hummed softly at his touch, gently rocking as if testing itself.
He was so focused on examining the items that he didn’t immediately notice the soft footsteps approaching from behind.
"Welcome to Arcane Nest, Sir," a warm, slightly breathless female voice called out. "How may I help you today?"
Aiden turned around smoothly.
The moment he did, the young woman standing behind him froze.
She was the shop assistant — a beautiful girl in her early twenties with soft lavender hair tied in a neat bun, wide hazel eyes, and a curvaceous figure wrapped in a neat shop uniform. Her cheeks were already slightly flushed from the busy day, but the second her eyes landed on Aiden, her heart visibly skipped a beat.
Her eyes widened dramatically. Her mouth parted in a small, awestruck ’o’ shape. For a few long seconds, she simply stared at him — at his striking white hair, sharp crimson eyes, tall and powerful build, and the overwhelming aura of dominance and charm that seemed to radiate from him.
*Oh... my... goddess...* she thought, her mind going completely blank for a moment. *He’s... so handsome. So incredibly hot. That face... that presence... Is this even real? I think... I think my life is complete now.*
She stood there, completely starstruck, as a deep blush rapidly spread across her face and down her neck.
Aiden raised an eyebrow slightly, the corner of his lips curling into a faint, knowing smirk as he noticed her reaction.
Lunara immediately burst into delighted laughter inside his head.
---
[Master~ Look at her! She’s completely frozen! One glance from you and she’s already simping hard. This poor girl’s heart didn’t stand a chance~]
---
The shop assistant blinked rapidly, trying to regain her composure, but she still couldn’t stop staring at him with pure awe and admiration.
She was only 5’3", petite and delicate, while Aiden towered over her at 6’2", his presence overwhelming in the best possible way.
She instinctively rubbed her thighs together under her skirt, a small, subconscious motion as heat pooled low in her belly. Her eyes widened, unable to look away from his sharp gaze, his strong jawline, and the effortless confidence radiating from him. Her breathing grew heavier, chest rising and falling noticeably as she stared up at him in pure awe.
*Damn...* she thought, mind going hazy. *He’s... so tall...*
Aiden noticed her reaction immediately. A slow, predatory grin spread across his face as he walked closer, each step deliberate. He stopped right in front of her, deliberately invading her personal space until she had to tilt her head all the way back to look up at him.
The height difference was striking. She looked tiny and fragile next to him, cheeks flushing deeper with every second.
Lunara purred heatedly in his mind.
---
[Master~ Look at her. She’s already soaked just from you standing close. Poor girl can barely breathe. You really do have that effect on women, don’t you?]
---
Aiden reached out, placing a single finger under her chin. He gently tilted her head up further, forcing her to meet his eyes properly. His thumb brushed slowly across her soft lower lip, tracing it with deliberate sensuality.
The girl’s breath hitched into a quiet, dreamy moan. Her lips parted slightly, eyes glassy with sudden, overwhelming attraction.
"Hey, babe..." Aiden said, voice low, smooth, and dripping with dominance.
She shivered visibly, knees feeling weak.
"Y-Yes, Sir...?" she answered breathlessly, almost in a trance. Her heart hammered wildly in her chest.
Aiden’s grin widened, thumb still teasing her lower lip. "I’m looking to buy the best cribs you have. At least five — maybe six. One for my baby girl right now, and several more for my upcoming children. I want the highest quality — enchanted woods that grow with the child, self-rocking mechanisms, dream-protection runes, temperature regulation, the works. Soft magical blankets, nutrient potions for lactating mothers, plush toys... Everything. Money is no issue."
The girl nodded dazedly, still lost in his gaze, her cheeks burning. "Y-Yes, Sir... We have the finest collections..."
Aiden finally released her chin, stepping back slightly with that same smug, satisfied smirk.
"Go on then," he said casually. "Show me what you have."
The assistant blinked rapidly, snapping out of her haze. "H-Huh? Oh! Yes... This way, Sir!"
She turned quickly, almost stumbling over her own feet, and began leading him deeper into the store. Her hips swayed more than usual as she walked, clearly still affected by his presence. She kept stealing glances back at him, biting her lip.
Lunara laughed softly in Aiden’s head.
---
[Master~ You broke her with one sentence and a touch. She’s going to be thinking about you for weeks. Maybe months. Look at how she’s walking — thighs pressed together. You’re dangerous.]
---
Aiden followed with calm confidence, hands back in his pockets, watching the flustered assistant with amusement as she began enthusiastically showing him the premium selections.
The lavender-haired assistant led Aiden deeper into the vast store, her steps a little quicker than necessary, her hips swaying more than usual under her neat uniform skirt. She kept stealing quick, shy glances back at him, clearly trying to act professional while failing miserably to hide how affected she was by his presence.
"These are our premium line of cribs, Sir," she said, gesturing toward a beautiful display of enchanted wooden cribs. Her voice was slightly breathy. "This one is made from Starwood. It gently rocks itself, and has built-in dream ruins that keep nightmares away. The runes activate when the baby cries..."
She turned to look at him again, biting her lower lip as her eyes traced his tall frame and sharp features. *Gods, he’s even more handsome up close...* she thought, cheeks flushing deeper. She tried to stand a little straighter, pushing her chest out subtly, hoping he would notice.
Aiden stood beside her with that same irresistible, lazy smirk on his face, hands in his pockets, looking every bit the powerful man who owned the room. He didn’t say much at first, simply observing the cribs while occasionally glancing at her flustered expression.
"Impressive," he murmured, reaching out to run his fingers along the smooth edge of the Starwood crib. It hummed softly and began rocking gently at his touch. "I’ll take six of these. Different designs if possible. One for each of my children — current and future."
The assistant’s eyes widened slightly. "S-Six...? Of course, Sir! Right away!" She quickly noted it down, stealing another glance at him. Her thighs pressed together again as she imagined what kind of man could casually say he needed six cribs.
After they finished selecting the cribs, he turned to her smoothly.
"I’ll also need potions for lactating mothers — the highest quality, nutrient-rich ones that increase milk production and taste. Soft enchanted blankets that stay perfectly warm. And plush toys... lots of them. Especially a huge dragon plushy. Big enough for a child to hug properly."
The assistant nodded eagerly, her cheeks still pink. "Yes, Sir! We have an excellent selection for all of those." She led him toward the next section, her steps light and eager. "The lactation potions are over here. These are infused with moonflower essence — very effective and sweet-tasting."
She picked up a elegant crystal bottle, holding it up for him while once again glancing at his face, clearly starstruck. "This one is our best seller for new mothers..."
Aiden took the bottle from her hand, their fingers brushing for a moment. The assistant’s breath hitched visibly at the contact.
Lunara purred teasingly in his head.
---
[Master~ She’s practically vibrating. One little touch and she’s ready to melt. You should see how she’s looking at you. Poor girl is falling hard.]
---
Aiden’s smirk deepened as he examined the potion, then looked back at the flustered assistant.
He turned the bottle slowly in his fingers. The liquid inside glowed with a soft, ethereal silver light. He then looked back at the flustered lavender-haired assistant, who was still staring at him with wide, dreamy eyes.
In his mind, he spoke calmly to Lunara.
*Lunara, if I place these items in my inventory, will they be preserved properly?*
---
[Of course, Master~] Lunara purred immediately, her voice warm and reassuring. [Everything you store in your inventory is perfectly preserved — frozen in time, exactly as it is the moment you put it in. No spoilage, no degradation. In fact, the best part is that magical items like these potions actually improve slightly over time inside your inventory. The runes stabilize and even enhance their potency. You can stockpile as much as you want without worry.]
---
Aiden nodded subtly, satisfied with the answer. He turned his full attention back to the shop assistant, who was still standing close, cheeks flushed, thighs pressed together.
"I want all the Moonflower potions you have in stock," he said casually, as if ordering bread instead of extremely expensive, high-grade magical elixirs. "Every single bottle."
The assistant’s hazel eyes widened dramatically. Her mouth opened in shock.
"T-That... that will cost a fortune, Sir..." she stammered, voice trembling. "The Moonflower essence is incredibly rare and difficult to brew. We only have twenty-four bottles in total right now. Are you... sure?"
Aiden’s smirk never wavered. "As I said earlier — money is no issue."
Without another word, he reached into his pocket and flicked a single coin toward her with perfect precision.
The girl instinctively caught it in both hands. The moment she saw what it was, her eyes widened even further, almost comically so.
"T-This is... This is a ’Constla’?!" she gasped.
A Constla was the rarest and most valuable coin in the entire kingdom — a shimmering platinum coin. One Constla was officially worth twenty gold coins, but in practice, it often traded for far more due to its extreme scarcity and use in high-level magical transactions. Nobles and royalty used them for major purchases. Commoners rarely ever saw one in their entire lifetime.
The assistant stared at the coin in her palms like it was a sacred artifact, her hands shaking slightly.
"I-I can’t take this, Sir..." she whispered, voice filled with disbelief. "This is worth more than a year of my salary... possibly two..."
Aiden stepped closer once again, towering over her small 5’3" frame. He reached out and gently placed a finger under her chin, tilting her flushed face up to meet his crimson eyes properly.
"Keep it," he said, voice low and commanding, yet strangely gentle. "Think of it as a gift... or a tip."
The moment his finger touched her chin, the assistant let out a soft, breathless moan. Her knees weakened visibly, and she had to steady herself against the counter. Her hazel eyes became glassy with overwhelming attraction and submission.
Aiden slowly withdrew his hand and slipped it back into his pocket, that irresistible smirk still playing on his lips.
The girl remained frozen for a second, then suddenly bowed deeply, her lavender hair falling forward.
"Thank you very much, Sir!" she said, voice filled with genuine gratitude and awe. "This... this is incredibly generous. I don’t even know how to thank you properly..."
Aiden waved his hand dismissively. "No need for all that. Just show me everything I asked for. And make sure it’s the absolute best quality you have."
She straightened up quickly, a shy but radiant smile spreading across her face. Her cheeks were still burning red, but her eyes sparkled with excitement and admiration.
"Yes, Sir! Right away!" She turned and began leading him through the store with renewed energy, occasionally glancing back at him with barely concealed delight.
Lunara purred teasingly in Aiden’s head the entire time.
---
[Master~ You just made her entire year with one coin. Look at how happy she is. She’s going to remember this day for the rest of her life. And the way she moaned when you touched her chin... She’s definitely going to touch herself thinking about you tonight.]
---
Aiden’s smirk widened as he followed the eager assistant, watching her hips sway while she gathered the finest items for his growing family.
The shopping continued smoothly. She showed him the highest-grade lactation potions, stacking box after box for him. She brought out the softest enchanted blankets that adjusted temperature and emitted calming scents. Plush toys of every kind were presented — including the largest, most detailed dragon plushy in the store, big enough for a growing child to hug comfortably.
Every time she handed him something, she would steal another longing glance, blushing furiously whenever their fingers brushed.
Aiden remained calm and commanding, approving each item with a nod or a short comment, while Lunara continued her playful commentary in his head.
By the time they finished, a massive pile of premium nursery had been gathered. The total cost was astronomical, but he paid without blinking, using another Constla and several gold coins.
