Chapter 422: Chapter 422: Gate Of Nihility

As the other battles waged around them, Ved and Grendal clashed destroying th ground around the shreds.

Ved’s law of destruction turned everything he touched to dust in a blink of an eye. " What’s your purpose here?"

He asked while clashing with Grendal, claw against fist. The air shattered and a wave of death assaulted Grendal.

Adrian spun and swung his tail like a whip, Grendal reached out to grab it but at the last moment Adrian pulled it back.

This caught the giant by suprise and before he could adjust he was hit but a massive dragon claw.

He crashed on the ground like collapsing mountain. The ground rose like waves that spread for thousands of kilometres.

Ved didn’t give him a chance to get up and fired a beam of dragon breath. Their battle ravaged the ground like natural disasters.

On the other end, Naledi opened her eyes, her ability was ready. Her crown of divinity flared.

Her blue hair turned gold with purple tips and she pointed her sword down then gently tapped the void.

A visible ripple spread across the air for 10 000 kilometres. More and more ripples followed.

Before anybody could react, 12 golden pillars appeared at the edge of the domain formed by the ripples.

The pillars were a thousand kilometres tall and 100 kilometres wide, runes covered the pillars like tattoos.

Nobody knew what these pillars were for but the fallen had no intentions then find out. The fallen leader moved.

Her own attack had been completed, a giant black skull appeared in the void, its empty eyes glared at Naledi like a predator eyeing its prey.

Then it moved, the skull was 2 kilometres large, it opened its mouth devouring everything in its path.

Whenever it passed, it left a region without even the air itself, it left a trail of darkness where even light dare not enter.

This path felt more like the void but weaker, however they all realised how dangerous this thing actually was.

The Nameless of bones was known as the war type amongst the six Nameless, it stood to reason that the battle power of its fallen would be strong.

But this was beyond anything any of them had ever felt, they all knew including Ferrel that they wouldn’t survive against it.

However Naledi did not move, Ved’s avatar appeared in front of her. This avatar only had 1/4 of his strength.

Ved was resigned to sacrifice it so he didn’t care. However when he stood facing the skull a wave of fear hit him like a tsunami.

" ROOOOAAAR"He roared to the heavens shaking the sky itself. Ved had used every enhancement he had.

He even used the little mana he had and this he used it alongside his dream mist to see the effects.

He had already had this idea, he just never had the chance to test it out. Golden mist spread out in front of him.

He imagined something like a black hole that devoured all things and grind them to nothingness.

A manifestation of destruction itself. He opened his mouth and words sprung to his head like a dream.

It was as if an ancient voice was whispering in his ear, a spell came to life and he opened his mouths and let it out.

"By the might of endless dreams, let destruction reign: Gate Of Nihility."

He threw up blood as his dragon cords were ripped to shreds, not just on this avatar but on all them.

He had used his very soul to construct this thing, he sacrificed the piece of his soul in this avatar to compensate for the lack of mana.

But when the spell materialised, it was not what he had imagined, instead of a traditional black hole what appeared was a gate.

A massive gate sealed with chains of laws, the chains broke, the process looked slow but it was anything but.

As the chains shattered and the gate opened what appeared was hard then describe in words.

" The Void?" The fallen leader asked herself in a quivering voice but then shook her head, " No, it’s different."

She took couldn’t explain what she was saying.

" Primal Chaos." Ved found himself whispering, he didn’t know what that was but the term felt right.

However what he was seeing felt incomplete, the gate of Nihility itself felt incomplete.

’ I’m still too weak.’ he still couldn’t understand why but his primal chaos as he called it.

It felt like a weak imitation of something beyond grand. As such, when it clashed with the skull they reached a stalemate.

They grinded against each other but slowly the gate was losing. Pieces of the black gate started crumbling.

When they touched the ground, there was silence as the ground they touched simply ceased to be.

Ved’s other avatars stopped their fight with Grendal as everybody else stopped fighting and watched.

The clash between the two powers was silent but nothing around existed, even the laws were being grinded to dust.

Naturally destroying the laws of heaven was bound to attract its attention, a stormed formed above.

What followed was an endlessly powerful eye of swirling energy. Whoever the eye looked, the laws repaired themselves.

The two powers continued their silent fight for dominance but it was obvious the gate of Nihility was going to lose.

"Damnit." Ved cussed under his breath, he sacrificed a piece of his soul to create that thing.

He couldn’t imagine it losing, that would be a huge lose. As the gate was about to crumble the skull suddenly disappeared.

The gate followed after, there was no warning or explanation as to what happened, everybody was confused.

The skull which had the upper hand suddenly disappeared into think air silently with reason.

However Ved had seen it, a merely glimpse of what had happened. Just as the gate was about to crumble.

He was saw something he could only explain as an eye but it was also different from a normal eye.

As soon as that eye looked at the skull, the skull ceased to be but this glimpse came at a cost.

Ved felt his own soul and body crumbling like a sand castle little by little, he couldn’t stop it.

It took some time for the others to notice his state and Naledi used her ability, her eyes were shaking with uncontrollable fear.

" World Of Statis." Dong, the sound of a clock echoed across the world and it was heard by all.

The world within the domain of her pillars came to a sudden stop.
