The figure that emerged from within the glow was a being of ethereal beauty and celestial grace. Her features were delicate, almost translucent as if she embodied the very essence of the stars. Her hair flowed around her like shimmering strands of stardust, radiating a soft golden glow.

Dressed in a flowing gown that seemed to be woven from moonlit clouds, she appeared to float above the ground, her steps leaving behind twinkling stardust in her wake. The fabric of her gown shifted and swirled, reflecting the myriad hues of the cosmos: deep blues, vibrant purples, and glistening silvers.

From her wrists hung delicate bracelets, each one gleaming with cosmic hues, while around her neck, a necklace of interwoven celestial bodies glimmered with an otherworldly luminescence.

Her every movement seemed to leave a trail of stardust in her wake as if she had become the embodiment of the night sky itself.

As she slowly opened her eyes, her gaze seemed to pierce through the veil of reality. Her eyes, the color of deep galaxies, sparkled with ancient wisdom and a knowing that surpassed time itself. Within the depths of her gaze, the secrets of the world unraveled.

Countless translucent lines danced before her, each representing a person’s life, fate, and beyond. These delicate threads of destiny intertwined and intersected with one another, revealing the intricate tapestry of existence. Some lines shimmered with vibrant energy, indicating moments of joy and fulfillment, while others wavered with uncertainty, hinting at challenges and hardships yet to come.

As her gaze traversed the intricate web of fate, she could glimpse the past of individuals, their histories etched in faded hues, echoing the stories of triumph and tragedy. She could foresee the branching paths of countless futures, the life-altering choices and the consequences that followed.

Once more, she closed her eyes, allowing the vast expanse of destiny to unfold within her mind.

As she opened her eyes this time, a radiant energy permeated her entire being, exuding from every pore. The lines of fate and the threads of lives continued to dance before her, but now there was a sense of clarity and purpose in her gaze.

"Finally," she whispered, her voice carrying the weight of millennia, "I am complete again."

It was as if the missing fragments of her existence had been woven back together, becoming one again.

Not only did Mi Ling possess a unique and formidable innate physique, but she also carried within her the bloodline of her father, the Starry Sky Sovereign.

Although the Sovereign had departed from the lower domain hundreds of thousands of years ago, a surprising turn of events occurred approximately one thousand years ago when he sent his daughter to the lower domain, specifically to the Spiritdrift world.

The exact motivation behind this remains shrouded in mystery, so much so that even the most esteemed members of the Alliance are in the dark about it.

With an outstretched hand, she gently reached towards the intertwining lines, her touch instilling a sense of solace and understanding within each one. The translucent threads trembled and vibrated as she traced her fingers along their ethereal paths.

"It seems like I have suffered much in the Spiritdrift World," she said with a hint of amusement in her tone.

As she remembered something, she extended her divine sense into her space ring. Her gaze soon fell on an empty spot within the ring’s space.

"Oh, a void mark," her smile widened upon seeing that.

"It seems like this Liang Yifei is interesting; he actually managed to fool me. Although it was only a part of me, he still fooled me," Mi Ling laughed as her finger tracked a certain glowing fate line. Soon, Liang Yifei’s life passed in front of her eyes like a flash of memories, until a certain point where it was abruptly cut off.

"Interesting. Everything seemed pretty normal until this mirror appeared," she thought to herself, her brows furrowing in confusion. "For this thing to be able to conceal his life from me, it most likely is a Primordial Relic. But why would such an artifact appear here in the lower domain?"

"Okay, let’s try something else," she murmured, her gaze scanning every fate line that seemed to have a connection with Liang’s fate line.

After some time, a cunning smile appeared on her lips. "Ah, I see. He sent Yang Wu to the Devil Realm, and now Yang Wu is in the Devil Realm," she mused.

"Oh, I see. Liang is indeed cunning; he already has his plans set in the Devil Realm," she added, a spark of curiosity in her eyes.

"Weird. From Yang Wu’s fate line, I can see everyone he met in the Devil Realm. These people are all Liang’s henchmen, but I can’t infer any connections between these people and him or even discern what he ordered them to do," she pondered aloud.

"It seems like this mission will be more troublesome then I thought, Most likely the Devil Court would be involved in this too, I need to make more preparation" she wondered, her thoughts spinning with possibilities.

"Well, it doesn’t matter after mastering the Four Constellation Technique. I highly doubt that anyone below the Void Transformation Realm would be able to stand against me. In fact, I don’t have to fear any Void Transformation cultivators either, so I don’t need to worry about my safety that much."

The Four Constellations Technique, a bloodline technique inherited from the Starry Sky Sovereign, is a remarkable technique, giving it’s practitioners multiple unique abilities.

With this technique, the practitioner’s essence is divided into four equal parts, and each part can practice a different cultivation system. It is a mysterious and powerful technique that allows one to delve into multiple paths of cultivation simultaneously.

Legend has it that through this technique, the Starry Sky Sovereign achieved unparalleled mastery in various cultivation systems, including spirit, soul, body, and bloodline.

While Mi Ling has not quite reached that extraordinary level of cultivation, she has attained a realm comparable to the Dao Integration in the remaining three cultivation systems: Soul, body and bloodline.

Meanwhile, back in the Spiritdrift World, As Liang was cultivating the Shadow of Oblivion Sword Manual. Suddenly, an unsettling feeling washed over him as if he were being watched.

Despite scanning the area with his void sense, he found nothing. This pervasive sense of unease disrupted Liang’s cultivation, leaving him both distressed and disoriented.

With nothing else to do, Liang made a decision to visit the All Things Chamber once again.

However, this time he had another reason for his visit - he was looking for Nexus Stones.

Fortunately, he was able to find a few of them in the chamber.

Even more fortunate was the fact that they only cost him a small amount of one thousand Elemental Dao Crystals, an insignificant amount to him in his current state.

With the stones in his possession, Liang left the city and embarked on a journey to a location far away from the Heavenly Vein - the Death Domain, one of the three forbidden grounds situated on the opposing side of the Heavenly Vein, akin to a metaphorical antipode.

This domain held a special characteristic as it lacked any presence of Spirit Qi, unlike the rest of the Spiritdrift World. Even during the time when the Spiritdrift World thrived with Spirit Qi, the Death Domain remained devoid of it.

The Death Domain sprawled across the Spiritdrift World like a colossal expanse, nearly matching the size of the area above the Heavenly Vein. Its vastness was marked by desolate landscapes and jagged mountains that stretched as far as the eye could see. The domain’s appearance was a stark contrast to the vibrant beauty found in other realms, with a somber and lifeless atmosphere that hung heavily in the air.

Veils of ominous mist clung to the terrain, shrouding the land in an ethereal gray hue. The eerie beauty of the jagged peaks stood as silent sentinels, their sharp edges seemingly reaching towards the heavens in a twisted embrace.

The absence of Spirit Qi that characterized the Death Domain did not mean a complete void, as an abundance of Yin Qi permeated the air. This dense Yin Qi infestation transformed the domain into a haven for Earth Corpses and Undead Beings. The Yin energy twisted and warped the surroundings, creating an eerie and unsettling aura.

Here, amidst the mountains and valleys, Earth Corpses emerged as the dominant presence. These unique beings manifested when the remains of powerful cultivators were interred in places saturated with Yin Qi for hundreds of thousands of years. Over time, new consciousness would form within these corpses.

Earth Corpses possessed immense strength, with even the weakest among them rivaling early-stage Dao Integration Realm cultivators. The strongest among the Earth Corpses could go head-to-head with half-step Void Transformation realm cultivators and emerge victorious.

As time progressed and they further developed, some Earth Corpses could even undergo breakthroughs and become Heavenly Corpses.
