Floria existed as a unique planet, unlike any other, not orbiting around any sun. Its location was opposite Lunastra, situated between Solara and Luminies.

Strangely, Floria remained suspended in space, unaffected by the gravitational pull and light emitted by the two neighboring suns.

After pondering her options with utmost deliberation, Dong Rui had finally arrived at a resolute decision.

In the grand hierarchy of the Dong Clan, As a person who awakened six runes, she is considered rather mundane amidst the backdrop of her kin’s more dazzling prodigies.

The Dong Clan often witnessed the emergence of seven or eight omnicolor paragons in a single generation, with individuals like her grandfather and father surpassing even the paragons in their formidable abilities.

Nevertheless, Dong Rui had been appointed as the clan saintess, a position that fostered jealousy and resentment among many clan members.

Not content with accepting her fate and wallowing in a sea of mediocrity, Dong Rui had poured unyielding effort into proving herself worthy of her lineage. Every ounce of her being yearned to stand on equal footing with the prodigious geniuses that peppered the ranks of her clan.

Yet, despite her tireless endeavors, she found herself lagging behind—struggling to measure up to the unparalleled accomplishments of her peers. An unforgiving ache of inadequacy gnawed at her, leaving her desperate to vanquish the shadows of obscurity.

Driven to desperation, she ventured into forbidden and ancient places until on a fateful day, Dong Rui stumbled upon a closely guarded secret: the Lightforged Illumination Technique.

This ancient technique, created by an ancient runic expert, consisted of two sections: Alpha and Beta.

Those who practiced the Alpha section gained the power to control practitioners of the Beta section. Furthermore, the Alpha could absorb Beta runes, merging them with their own and ultimately forging a new rune known as the Devil Illumination Rune. Though little was known about this mysterious rune, the records described it as the most foreboding and sinister symbol, surpassing even the enigmatic seven-colored runes.

With a wave of her hand, six runes materialized, prompting a sigh as she scrutinized them. Initially devoid of the Darkness affinity, her runes had undergone a transformation after practicing the Lightforged Illumination Technique and absorbing numerous other runes. Dong Rui remained uncertain whether this change was beneficial or detrimental. However, the current extent of her power and the progress in her cultivation journey provided a fleeting sense of relief and accomplishment, despite still lagging behind her clan’s geniuses in raw talent.

However, her immediate concern revolved around escaping from this confounding planet, where a formidable obstacle stood in her way, this formation most likely was activated by Evana to prevent them from escaping—the Divine Dusk Formation. Encompassing the entire planet, this protective net was created by the Eternal Dusk Divine Paragon, the founder of the Eclipse Coven and the owner of the stone tablet which served as the source of the formation’s power.

Contemplating her options, Dong Rui’s gaze fixed upon the sky, ensnared by the colossal black and white net.

The Divine Dusk Formation prevented any means of teleportation and physical passage through it seemed impossible. Yet, a flicker of hope ignited as she thought about him.

Nevertheless, thoughts of this person led to furrowed brows and a sense of unease. Shrouded in mystery, he defied understanding. Despite the risk of unknowingly surrendering her soul to the devil, Dong Rui acknowledged that seeking his aid might be her sole chance of escape.

With a deep breath, Dong Rui stepped out of her wooden dwelling and made her way to the serene house garden. As she approached, she noticed Liang seated cross-legged, his aura serene and focused. The tranquil atmosphere surrounding him was palpable, as if the very air revered his presence.

Intrigued by his quiet demeanor, Dong Rui found herself drawn closer to Liang’s serene form. She lowered herself into a squatting position, her eyes fixed upon him. The warm sunlight cast gentle shadows across his features, illuminating the calm and peace that seemed to radiate from within him.

"Brother Liang," she began softly, punctuating the peaceful silence, "had you ever heard of the Duality Chessboard Gathering?"

Liang’s eyes narrowed slightly, his gaze piercing and insightful. The tranquil expression on his face remained unchanged, and Dong Rui wondered what thoughts lay within his mind. However, she remained determined.

Shaking his head, Liang’s voice resonated with a touch of intrigue, "I’m afraid I haven’t heard of such an event."

A surge of surprise coursed through Dong Rui’s veins, her eyes widening in disbelief. How could someone as knowledgeable and well-versed as Liang be unaware of the Duality Chessboard Gathering?

"What about the Chess True Paragon?" she pressed on.

Liang’s countenance remained unwavering as he replied with a shake of his head, "I’m afraid not."

Her voice filled with astonishment, Dong Rui uttered, " The Yin-Yang Abyss Mountain Range?"

Once again, Liang’s response was marked by a gentle shake of his head.

Dong Rui couldn’t help but exclaim in astonishment. It was one thing for him to be unfamiliar with the gathering or the paragon, but for the Yin-Yang Abyss Mountain Range to be unknown to him, that caught her off guard.

This particular location is rather famous as one of the four forbidden grounds in the solar system. It is shrouded in mystery and allure, drawing experts and seekers from across the realms.

Shaking her head, Dong Rui, decided to use another approach.

"Brother Liang,What are your future plans?"

Liang sneered inwardly, his anticipation building. This was the moment he had long awaited. "Future plans?, Rebuilding my cultivation, honing my strength, and ultimately seeking vengeance."

Dong Rui couldn’t help but inwardly scoff at the predictability of his response. She knew he needed a broader perspective, a grander goal. Gathering her thoughts, she prepared to present him with an opportunity he couldn’t refuse.

"Brother Liang,You aren’t planning to achieve this by sitting here, are you?"

Liang raised an eyebrow, as if sensing her underlying message but unsure of what she meant. "What do you mean?"
