"Do you have any guesses?" Kai asked, his brows furrowed as he contemplated the situation.

Liang responded with uncertainty, "Hard to say. But considering where we were heading, I would say it could be either a powerful faction within the Devil Realm or even the Devil Court itself."

Kai shook his head, his expression filled with doubt, "A faction in the Devil Realm? Maybe. But the Devil Court? I don’t think so."

Curiosity sparked within Liang as he asked, "Oh, why not?"

With a thoughtful expression, Kai explained, "The Devil Court is known for its decisive ways. If they were to attack, I doubt they would stop at just that. And what about the Void Transformation experts?"

Liang’s eyes narrowed, deep in contemplation, "There were two individuals outside the Void Passage - an elderly man from the Legion and another man probably from the Alliance."

Kai’s gaze intensified, his mind racing to piece together the puzzle, "What about the intruders?"

Liang’s eyes flashed with a mix of concentration and uncertainty, "There were also two of them with the power of the Void Transformation Realm. In fact, their power seemed to surpass even that of the Legion and Alliance experts."

He knit his brow and commented, "The Legion expert had a formidable struggle against the intruders, even though there was little difference in strength between them."

Liang’s voice carried a hint of worry as he added, "As for the Alliance expert, he was completely outmatched. If the battle had dragged on, I believe he would have been at serious risk of sustaining a fatal blow."

Kai’s eyes sparkled as if a thought had struck him. "None of those experts noticed you spying on them, did they?"

Liang smiled and shook his head in confirmation.

Upon witnessing this, Kai’s smirk widened. "Ah, the prowess of the Void Piercing Eyes is truly extraordinary."

Liang shrugged dismissively. "Let us set that aside for now." He then pointed his finger towards the floating bubble. "We have another crucial matter at hand."

With a swift wave of his hand, the translucent walls of the floating bubble dissipated, revealing the enchanting figure of the woman who was firmly chained inside.

Kai thoroughly examined Jiang Yan’s captivating appearance and couldn’t help but nod approvingly. "Not a bad choice. It seems our tastes align quite well," he remarked.

Liang’s smile held a hint of bitterness as he shook his head. "She is a member of the Mortal Ascension Legion," he revealed.

The excitement in Kai’s eyes intensified as he leaned in for a closer look at the unconscious Jiang. "So, what do you propose we do with her?" he inquired.

Liang let out a chuckle, his voice laced with a subtle hint of mischief. "Nothing more than to extract every ounce of knowledge she possesses."

Waving his hand dismissively, Kai’s face lit up with a sudden flicker of inspiration. "An easy matter," he mused. "But what should we do with her after that?"

Perplexed, Liang queried, "What do you mean?"

Kai smirked slyly before answering, "Once we’ve extracted her memories, should we release her or dispose of her?"

A sneer crept across Liang’s face as he responded, "Kill her, of course."

Shaking his head disapprovingly, Kai’s expression turned contemplative. "That would be a waste," he argued.

Liang sneered in response, his voice dripping with disdain. "Do you have a better idea, then?"

A knowing glint appeared in Kai’s eyes as he confidently replied, "Indeed, I do."

Meanwhile, back on the planet where the Alliance and Legion members had landed, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of anticipation. As Mi Ling and the Alliance departed, Zhuo Li and Xue Ren remained, their eyes fixed on the horizon as if expecting an important event to unfold.

Their patience was soon rewarded, for before them emerged a figure from the heavens. It was an elderly man, garbed in a flowing white Daoist robe. His long, silvery hair cascaded down his back, flowing freely in the gentle breeze, accompanied by a majestic white beard that framed his weathered face. His presence exuded a profound aura of both power and tranquility.

The elderly man’s eyes, peering through the passage of time, seemed to hold secrets and wisdom accumulated over countless years.

As he descended from above, his graceful movements seemed to defy gravity itself, as if he were an ethereal being embodying the very essence of this celestial realm. With each step, the atmosphere seemed to shimmer, as if acknowledging his divinity.

As the elderly man touched down on the barren terrain, Zhuo Li and Xue Ren respectfully bowed. "Greetings, Venerable Yuan."

Venerable Yuan, revered for his wisdom and experience, stands as an esteemed and time-honored figure within the Legion. With a reputation spanning countless generations, his name carries the weight of authority and respect in the Spiritdrift world branch. His presence alone commands attention and reverence from those around him.

Venerable Yuan greeted everyone with his warm smile and gently waved his hand, saying, "There’s no need for these formalities."

However, as Venerable Yuan cast his watchful gaze upon his surroundings, a sense of bewilderment clouded his features. Something unforeseen has transpired, evident in the furrowed lines etched on his forehead.

"Where are the other three?" he queried, a hint of concern mingling with his commanding voice.

Zhuo Li, a trusted ally, shook his head, and an undertone of bitterness marred his smile. "We aren’t sure yet, Venerable Yuan. It appears that most likely they were abruptly transported to a distant planet."

A shadow crossed Venerable Yuan’s face, the weight of worry beginning to show. "I care not for the two new recruits, but what of the little girl, Jiang?" he questioned urgently.

In response, Zhuo Li, though uncertain, attempted to piece together the fragmented puzzle. With a hesitant shake of the head and a voice laced with doubt, he replied, "I cannot say for certain, but if I were to hazard a guess, she should be in the company of Liang."

Venerable Yuan’s eyes narrowed as he inquired further, "Have you tried to communicate with them?"

Zhuo Li let out a weary sigh, the weight of his unsuccessful attempts apparent in his voice. "Indeed, I have made several attempts, but I haven’t received any response from any of them."

Venerable Yuan’s eyes flashed with contemplation. He leaned back, a small frown forming on his face as he addressed Zhuo Li once more. "In that case, have you placed a tracking mark on their communication badge?"

Zhuo Li nodded in confirmation. "Indeed, I have. However, the range of my divine sense can only reach the area surrounding this planet," a hint of frustration seeping into his words.

Venerable Yuan nodded understandingly, and with swift movements, he retrieved his own badge and inserted his divine sense into it.

Moments passed as his expression varied from concentration to anticipation.

After a while, Venerable Yuan withdrew his badge, a perplexed expression etching itself onto his features. He couldn’t help but let out a sigh, his voice tinged with a hint of disappointment. "I can feel Han Zhi’s tracking mark; he is not that far from here."

"But the other brat..." Venerable Yuan trailed off, his voice tinged with a mix of frustration and apprehension.
