Chapter 805: Chapter 805. BOSS Monster Talk and Golden Sap Empire Progress.

After those pulls, Liu Shu was quite depressed. She couldn’t complete her <Dungeon> with just one <Legendary> BOSS Monster, could she?

However, as she was pondering, Wisdom spoke to her.

[Wisdom: A <Legendary> BOSS Monster is good enough.]

Liu Shu grumbled. "What do you mean? I have <Mythical> BOSS Monsters for Level 100~149 <Dungeons>. How can a <Legendary> one be good enough for a Level 200 <Dungeon>?"

[Wisdom: It seems that your sense of proportion has been somewhat wrapped due to your early luck with ticket results. Naturally formed <Dungeons> from Level 0 to 100 usually have <Super Rare>, and, at most, an <Ultra Rare> BOSS Monster. From Level 100 to Level 300, <Ultra Rare> and <Legendary> BOSS Monsters are staples, with very rare <Mythical> ones appearing in over Level 200 <Dungeons>. Beyond that, <Mythical> BOSS Monsters begin appearing more often.]

Liu Shu heard her words, and her face was full of disbelief. "Are you messing with me, Wisdom? If so, haven’t I been using ridiculous BOSS Monsters as my usual staple?"

[Wisdom: That’s the reason your BOSS Monsters are defeated so rarely, if any time at all. Wasn’t the Young Earth Dragon unbeatable until recently, and only the elite among elite groups managed to deal with him? What about Aionthra and Vorathen? They are still unbeaten, even when Level 200 people have begun appearing.] 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

A headache came to her, but she didn’t blame anyone. After all, even if she had known about this information, Liu Shu would not have held back from using those top-tier beings. "So... Using <Legendary> is not bad?"

[Wisdom: It’s appropriate.]

A complicated feeling appeared in her heart. She was thinking of moving some BOSS Monsters from her other <Dungeons>. ’Is that possible? It’s not impossible, but I would need to close my <Dungeons> for a long time...’

Liu Shu sighed and shook her head. "Alright, I will get plenty of new <Tickets> as I discover new species outside my Solar System and <Astraelis> swimming in space. So, I shouldn’t rush. Let’s place the completion of the new <Dungeon> on hold."

Not that Liu Shu had finished its layout, so she truly couldn’t complete it even if she wanted.

As she reached this point, Liu Shu placed the <Dungeon> at the back of her mind. Instead, she focused on what to do next.

"What I need to do next is... is..."

Liu Shu blanked out for a moment. Her Empire was doing well, the envoys had were responsibility of her people, and the terraforming of planets had accelerated tremendously, but was still not completed.

Pelagia, the subaquatic World Tree that had previously conquered the largest surface area of Ceperet and was being guided by Skyflower, had long awakened as well. It seemed that this Big Sister of hers had decided to become a space attributed World Tree.

Her underwater feats and such pushed Pelagia’s evolution to be something that spreads around quickly "under the surface." When transforming into a True World Tree, this translates to being good at swimming through the dimensions.

The buffs Pelagia gave were all related to making the surrounding space much better moldable, which helped Tree quite a lot in managing the teleportation hub. The speed, number of people, and security had risen sharply over the last few years. Moreover, when you added Liu Shu’s newfound strengths as an Eternal Axis Universal Tree, things had developed to the point that they didn’t need to envy other superpowers.

It was a matter of several high percentages stacking until space became like dough for any World Tree or Life Tree related to it. Even Liu Shu, with her new <Title>, could easily mold sub-dimensions. Also, don’t forget the <Realm Blessing>.

"Speaking of dimensions..."

Liu Shu had not truly dived deeply into them out of caution. She had heard from many stolen reports that some sub-dimensions contained terrifying creatures who, once awakened, could cause quite a stir.

"Should I try to see what sub-dimensions are around me?"

She had just reached Level 200, and her Levels were still rising rapidly as Experience Points were consumed. As for her height... Liu Shu felt that she would soon become larger than Ceperet itself.

"I should make my anchoring point different, shouldn’t I? Otherwise, more than me sticking out of Ceperet, it will look as if I am trying to trample on it."

Liu Shu paused and chuckled. "...My thoughts are swimming everywhere again..."

She didn’t hate it, but sometimes, she got stuck going in circles about many things before getting to work on anything. "Alright, first, I will check the biological computer with my newfound strength and see if I can make some optimizations. That virtual game was quite fun, but I saw many issues while playing. It was not so much the fault of the programming as the hardware being unable to keep up with processing demand."

So, while her Avatar played around with her lovers, was dragged to the <Core Room> from time to time to have some sexy time, and she also went and met her children, Liu Shu dove into her workshop and began reviewing her past theories and knowledge.

"Little Endless, I will need your help. Can you organize the books I’ve shared with you that have not become outdated?"

The Endless Library answered softly. "Right away, Mom."

Her roots moved and swallowed the books she had written in the past. With her new computing strength and outlook after reaching the <Seventh Cycle> and <Second Ascension>, Liu Shu saw through many awkward or inefficiencies.

"Alright, let’s reprint."

So, Liu Shu dove right into work. Runes, Woodcrafting, Arrays,... with her new <Talent: Interstellar Rune Array Lignified Arborarchy> and those massive percentage boosts, her work efficiency was fast.

Her roots also never stopped expanding outward, and she noticed that some spaceships were moving toward Ceperet. Looking inside, she didn’t see anything out of place. Most were merchants, some interested explorers, and also spies from stronger powers that were arriving now.

"...I wonder when the time flow discrepancy will become known? The Verdant Elder, once he communicates with the outside and shows reports, should get notice, right?"

She didn’t care if it was known. Not because it wouldn’t be a threat, but because her buffs already placed her as a max-level threat. Any new absurd thing would not elevate her risk factor too much. At most, some people might send someone to damage or hunt her.

"Hunters..."

There were, of course, bounty hunters in space. It was a lucrative business for the top powerhouses who had more money than they knew what to do with. Asking to have enemies killed, creatures hunted, etc... The Explorer Association was too <Dungeon> focused to act as an intermediary for such things, so it was a bit of a free-range market.

"So many threats..." Liu Shu complained faintly. A sigh escaped her.

One year passed outside, and three years in Liu Shu’s domain.

(Author Note: for those who failed to notice, the <Titles> from her <First Ascension> have become stronger. Now, the time difference is 1:3!)

Many of her books were reprinted, and most top-tier scientists went to the Endless Library and holed themselves up to read them and discuss them with others in their fields. The people creating children’s science books also had to reprint due to new knowledge.

Overall, this pushed the Golden Sap Empire toward becoming a competitor with outside forces more quickly. Even the merchants who arrived in the past from higher-level powers were starting to feel the Golden Sap Empire maturing.

The items in the shops, which were previously crushed in quality by foreign merchants, were catching up incredibly quickly. They had reached a point where, while they couldn’t compete fully due to a lack of some core technologies, locals could produce items good enough to be sold and chosen by those who wanted cheaper options.

"Everything is falling into place. It feels so nice~."

Her children, while they had their ups and downs in life, were living fairly well. Moreover, after so many years, Liu Shu’s alraunes had now mated enough that fifth and sixth generations were born, far from contact with Liu Shu.

The species had blossomed, and other than the direct children, alraunes were not treated any differently from ordinary plant species. Of course, there were bad seeds everywhere, and Liu Shu had noticed that some of her descendants were misbehaving and sometimes using their blood to pressure others.

What happened to those was the absolute same as what happened to any other person who abused connections without effort. Liu Shu didn’t believe that giving jobs to close family was bad. If that person could do the job nicely and was competent, what was the problem?

What Liu Shu hated was not nepotism, but forced nepotism. ’Sadly, being born the son of someone important gives you connections right at birth. This is a fact of life. As long as the descendant is not incompetent and can be competed against, there is no reason as to why a parent shouldn’t be able to give their child a chance to compete.’

This was what Liu Shu believed. "Speaking of children... The Star Chart Newts have completely adapted."

What she did to this species in the past was quite brutal. She basically murdered their culture and forcefully adapted them to hers. Of course, with reason. It was either that or exterminating the species. After all, a species with natural precognition abilities was very dangerous if they were not controlled and naturalized.

Now, the Star Chart Newts had managed to create new job openings like experimental seers. Experimental seers were people who stood before a trial before it occurred and looked at the immediate future to see how it would develop.

For example, an energy startup, a chain of explosive reactions to mine, etc. These dangerous things that needed precautions were supervised by Star Chart Newts or other people with precognition.

If they saw an error, they would speak of it, and the engineers in charge would correct it. If there were no problems with the vision, then they would be much more confident. Of course, sometimes, accidents happened, and precognition didn’t work properly.

However, the extra layer of added security made sure that many projects that would’ve become scraps passed those first trials and entered their second phases more often.

In short, precognition for science tests, bodyguards, and similar professions that needed pre-planning had become quite trendy and important. Other than this, some Star Chart Newts created love divination shops, and others, more spiritual businesses.

Overall, Liu Shu was very happy with how the Star Chart Newts were using their innate powers, and by now, they were taking the first steps into becoming another important cog of the Golden Sap Empire.

<Fatebrushing Blessing> helped tremendously as well, guiding the Star Chart Newts to feel as if their strengths were a source of this blessing. So, most of them didn’t become arrogant and felt that they owed their wondrous powers to Liu Shu’s blessings.

’Strangely... the species that was the most resistant at first has now become one of the most devoted. Hahaha.’
