Chapter 35: Chapter 34 - A Request
From the wide open entrance of Duke Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s Library, I could see a mature woman walking in with Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld.
The Head Maid, who just ran away, leaving me along with Master Reina and Master Amagi, has returned.
I was still annoyed with the Head Maid who left quietly, but after seeing her thumb raised as if giving the code ’good job for keep alive’, it only increased the annoyance that started to appear on my facial expression.
The blood in my head was racing, and an irritated expression was about to spill out of my face. However, it was all restrained by the presence of Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who was accompanying her honorable guest.
A mature woman who looked so much like Master Amagi was none other than her mother.

In a relaxed tone that sounded like she was playing with her words, the mature woman immediately pulled Master Amagi’s arm out of my embrace.
Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld, who was beside her, smiled at me, her gentle eyes fixed on Master Reina, who was sitting on my lap.

With just that one sentence, I could feel Master Reina’s strong grip on the collar of my maid uniform. My position, which still sitting on the sofa with Master Reina in my lap, would certainly be considered impolite from a noble perspective.

My status as an apprentice maid did not have much influence in refusing Master Reina’s request.

"Don’t say something careless like that. How could I do such a rude act as a noblewoman?" replied the Duchess while pulling Master Reina’s from behind.

My lips couldn’t contain my facial expression when I saw the Duchess lift Master Reina with one hand. Her hand gripping Master Reina’s collar made me smile and subconsciously stare at her like a kitten being carried by its mother, biting at the nape of her kitten neck.
The Head Maid walked around and patted my shoulder to wake me up from enjoying this cute sight.
Like naughty kittens, they are forced to be picked up by their mother and are ready to receive punishment.

With a gentle touch on my shoulder, the Head Maid whispered in my ear to keep quiet.
"Don’t move, Liliana."
The Head Maid’s hands immediately danced over my loose maid uniform, covering my underwear and the red rash on the nape of my neck. Those gentle, swift movements transformed me into a maid ready for duty once again.
"Ugghh..." My lips couldn’t hold back the sound of a sigh as I was about to do another job on this hot afternoon.
I don’t know why, but I want to being lazy for little moment and suddenly vanished with another job.
What is certain... Liliana’s instincts, which have blended with my consciousness, tell me that there will be a troublesome job that will happen, and I have to take responsibility for it.

The loose buttons on my maid uniform were now neatly undone, hiding the hint of love from Master Reina. This made her look irritated, and she glared at her mother with cold eyes. "Ehh? That’s not a threat but a punishment you must undergo after being rude to Young Lady Amagi and Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg, you know..."
"Ohh... and rude to Liliana too," said the Duchess, who looked delighted with her little game punishment.
I remained silent and let the Head Maid finish her task of fixing my appearance, after sitting quietly and letting Master Reina strip the nape of my neck, which contained the mark of her love.
It’s a bit embarrassing indeed...
But that was the only way Master Reina could win her argument with Master Amagi.
From the start, I had no idea what caused their conflict. My duties as an apprentice maid, along with Liliana’s remaining memories, made it too difficult to understand the root cause of all this.
What I know for now is...
These Villainess girls are too scary to make argument for long time.
Their attitudes and behavior were terrifying enough for me to face alone, and I couldn’t even take a single step in front of Master Reina and Master Amagi. Their aura as Villainesses was truly terrifying, as one wrong move could determine my horrible future.

In this silent silence, I felt hesitant and prepared myself not to be too surprised by Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s decision.
"I DO NOT AGREE TO IT!!" Master Reina shouted in a loud voice.
"I AGREE!!" Master Amagi shouted in a loud voice, no less than Master Reina.
Those two opposing voices...
I already knew it would come from Master Reina and Master Amagi.
Oh no, It seems like... I sparked an argument between the two of them, again.
