"We are just following the rules. Please don’t make things difficult for us."
Stephen Lawrence and Shane Lawrence were well aware the man was trying to threaten them, but they weren’t afraid.
Especially Stephen Lawrence. After learning about the relationship between Sterling and her family, he paid even less mind to their so-called threats.
Shane Lawrence wasn’t afraid either. By now, he had already picked up on some of the issues.
Besides, this was all ordered by Sterling. He was just doing as she said.
Seeing that the two men wouldn’t budge an inch, Evan Sterling thought for a moment. Then, he gave a look to the people from Sanctyr Base behind him, signaling them to hand over their guns. He also took out two handguns and gave them to the Caeluna Base personnel.
Marcus Sterling and the others also acted completely nonchalant about it.
It didn’t matter to them whether they had weapons or not.
In their eyes, this was Stella Sterling’s base, which made it no different from their own territory.
’Would the people of this base dare to do anything to them? If they did, would that unfilial daughter, Stella Sterling, even have the nerve to face them?’
After they had handed over all their guns, Stephen Lawrence had a team member come forward and conduct a thorough pat-down of each of them. Only after confirming they had no other dangerous weapons did he lead them inside.

"Marcus Sterling, what are you all doing here?"
Just then, someone in the base called out.
Stephen Lawrence and Shane Lawrence looked over and saw it was a member of their own base.
They frowned. Did this person know these people?
Hearing someone call his name, Marcus Sterling looked over.
The next moment, his expression changed. "What are you doing here?"
Wanda Larkin’s gaze flickered as she stared at the man.
Evan Sterling frowned and called out, "Second Uncle."
This second uncle had never gotten along with his side of the family, and they hadn’t been in contact for many years.
’He thought the man had died long ago in the apocalypse. He never expected him to still be alive, and here in Caeluna Base of all places.’
Wanda Larkin seemed to recall something and grew even angrier.
’That unfilial girl, Stella Sterling! Last time, when she and her father asked her for help, she just left without a second thought.’
’But she went and brought Magnus Sterling into her base? It was infuriating!’
Magnus Sterling, looking surprised, hurried over. He greeted Stephen Lawrence and Shane Lawrence.
Stephen Lawrence asked, "You’re family with them?"
’If he hadn’t misheard, the man who claimed to be the boss’s brother had just called Magnus Sterling "Second Uncle."’
’These people are one family?’
’But why had he never heard Sterling mention them before?’
Magnus Sterling nodded. "Yes, but I cut ties with them a long time ago."
"Magnus Sterling, what are you doing in my daughter’s base? Don’t think that just because you’re her uncle, you can use that status to live comfortably here!"
"Let me tell you, when I see Stella Sterling, I’m going to tell her to disown you as her uncle!"
Wanda Larkin spat angrily from the side, assuming that Magnus Sterling was only able to be in the base because of his status as Stella Sterling’s elder...
Magnus Sterling said coldly, "If you can really get Sterling to kick me out, then I’ll have nothing more to say."
Though he said this, Magnus Sterling was indeed a little worried.
When he first heard Sterling’s full name, he had been surprised, suspecting that the "Sterling" of the base was his niece whom he had never met.
However, he hadn’t had a chance to meet with Sterling again since then, so he had no way of asking her about it.
But now, seeing his older brother’s family arrive, Sterling’s identity was confirmed.

The three Sterlings were brought before Stella Sterling by Stephen Lawrence and Shane Lawrence.
At that moment, Stella Sterling was sitting in her office chair, leisurely brewing tea.
The moment Wanda Larkin entered, she started screaming at Stella Sterling. "You unfilial girl! Your father and I are out there suffering, and you’re in here enjoying life! Where’s your conscience? Has a dog eaten it?"
