Chapter 80: Chapter 78: This Haul Was Insanely Profitable!

[Instance settlement in progress...]

[Items acquired: Police-Type Multi-Function Air Patrol Vessel (Purple), Seventh Generation Bionic Mechanical Servant Torso (Blue) *8, Seventh Generation Domestic Robot Components (White) *various, Unidentified Items (Blue, White, Gray) *???]

Directly above the Lord’s Manor, a vortex-shaped transport Light Gate was swiftly drawn out, and in the next instant, countless tons of city debris cascaded downward wrapped in a storm!

The earth resounded with a mighty roar.

Everyone in the town was taken aback, and the townspeople all lifted their heads, gazing in bewilderment toward the manor at the unexpected spectacle that emerged out of thin air.

Within mere seconds, a peculiar-shaped ’hill’ was already piled up on the wide-open manor grounds.

It stood nearly forty or fifty meters tall, and continued to broaden and thicken. The strangest part was, no one could recognize exactly what constituted the mountain.

Ultimately, a steel monstrosity of a ’ship’, over twenty meters long, fell from the sky, landing smoothly atop the mountain peak.

Meanwhile, on the surface of the vessel, Lin Lan remained sprawled helplessly, this moment left him with no strength even to move a finger.

Those wormlike fellow villagers didn’t play fair, setting traps and launching sneak attacks in the instance, causing him to be taken out lying down once again...

He rolled his eyes, noticing Eleanor sitting at the edge of the vessel, the Pirate Leader admiring her spoils while humming an unknown crude tune.

The Dragon Lady seemed to be in high spirits, swinging her long legs, her thick tail almost leaving afterimages.

After resting a bit to recover, Lin Lan managed to move closer and sit beside Eleanor, but once he did, a wave of intense fatigue surged through his mind once more.

The Resurrection Card had completely drained his spirit.

In the next moment, the tall, black-haired Dragon Lady tightly wrapped her arms around the youth’s shoulders.

"Can you still hold on?" Eleanor examined the youth’s profile, letting out a soft laugh.

"Barely hanging in there."

Lin Lan leaned feebly into her embrace, gazing downwards, the once open ground now filled with all sorts of city artifacts, the entire Lord’s Manor seemingly transformed into a massive junkyard.

He shifted his gaze back to the system panel, Lin Lan stared at the settlement interface, his mood lightening up.

This time really hit the jackpot!

Don’t be fooled by most of the instance items being gray-quality junk, for the newborn Apocalypse Ark, these city remnants are invaluable resources that can’t be bought for any price!

A light breeze tousled Lin Lan’s gray hair, leaving the young man lost in thought. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Soon after, they saw the petite Blond Witch dash out of the building like a gentle breeze, with a curious young maid in tow, holding her sister’s hand closely behind.

Ed and others’ figures were equally clear and visible, people gazing at the towering hill, eyes wide with surprise.

"Roland! Captain! Come down quickly!"

Lucia waved her arms, bouncing excitedly in place.

"Lord Roland, Captain, come down quickly!" Little Lisa imitated, though the young maid had no idea what had happened, it didn’t stop her from being thrilled.

"It seems everyone’s waiting for us." Eleanor’s voice was unprecedentedly pleasant.

"Yes." Lin Lan gathered his spirits again.

The thrilling scenes from the instance were still fresh in his mind, but setting aside the so-called lair end and Star Calamity, he knew there was plenty for him to do in the real world.

In the end, he belonged to the human world.

The heavenly descent caused a stir throughout the town, but the first to regain composure were the workers in the central workshop.

Since the event took place in the Lord’s Manor, and the Civilian Corps didn’t go into battle readiness mode, it surely wasn’t anything bad.

"Alright, focus on your tasks!"

Smith Abel bellowed in a muffled voice, redirecting his attention to the forge core: "The tasks Lord gave us are still unfinished!"

The crowd nodded, the blacksmiths resumed wielding their tools, allowing the sunlight in the furnace to evaporate their sweat.

The Civilian Corps seized all of the Southern Territory Lord’s iron ingot reserves, but the blacksmith shop had stopped producing cold weapons.

At Lin Lan’s request, the workers began crafting basic civilian tools using sunlight Ash Soil.

Iron pots, scissors, shovels, nails... with the development of the territory, all basic tools were in high demand.

But looking at the strange hill, Abel faintly sensed that the workers were likely to get busier, though he didn’t mind the feeling of busyness at all.

No oppression, no exploitation, each swing of the hammer always moved life forward.

This feeling was truly intoxicating...

Meanwhile, at the port by the shore, several Alliance merchants in disarray had jumped off their cargo ships, bringing their entourages towards the Lord’s Manor.

Even missing the official signature, many Alliance merchants weren’t content to leave Lion Heart Kingdom dejectedly; they preferred staying on their own luxurious and comfortable cargo ships than the shabby seaside town.

Merchants didn’t believe the Deep Sea Treasures, sought after by ordinary navigators, would appear out of nowhere in the hands of simpletons.

Day and night, they kept their eyes on the sea, eager to uncover Lord Roland’s secrets.

A plethora of Deep Sea Treasures indicates massive sea adventurer groups able to oppose the Celestial Calamity curse, as well as stable, reliable secret sea routes, hinting at profitable opportunities!

Lord Roland was probably backed by some mysterious race, those treasures couldn’t have dropped from the sky could they?
