Chapter 261: Occupying the battleship

After clearing the last critical firepower point, Waldo immediately relayed a message to the second team that had been preparing for a while.

"Board the ship! We don’t kill those who surrender and disarm, but for those who resist stubbornly, no mercy!"

Then, he informed Silva.

"Your mission is complete, now come and assist us immediately!"

The soldiers on the battleship were already in complete chaos. These people had initially been ordinary members on the Heavenly Dragon, lacking combat awareness and discipline compared to real soldiers. They were more like a band of mercenaries, and once they faced defeat, they scattered.

Therefore, after Silva and his team boarded the military ship, the people from the Heavenly Dragon lost their direction. Even before the battle had started, a considerable number of them had surrendered.

In their eyes, the enemy had boarded the warship, which naturally meant that the warship had fallen. Why resist further? Wouldn’t that be seeking death?

Soon, the defeated soldiers surrendered en masse. Only a few stubbornly resisted, and after Waldo took action, they were easily eliminated.

"Heavenly Dragon, you’re nothing but this!" Waldo sneered.

Looking at the rows of prisoners, Waldo breathed a sigh of relief, and a smile crept onto his face. However, he didn’t completely let his guard down.

He instructed Silva, "Send your people to thoroughly search every corner of the warship, and ensure there are no stragglers. Also, keep a close eye on every move the prisoners make. Don’t let them send any messages. Make sure what happened here doesn’t get leaked."

"Understood!" Silva nodded vigorously.

At this moment, he couldn’t help but greatly admire Waldo.

There are two main reasons for this. Firstly, Waldo’s contributions in this battle were incredibly significant, much greater than anyone else’s. Secondly, Waldo’s displayed strength is simply astonishing.

Going solo and infiltrating an enemy military ship was like entering the lion’s den. Yet, not only did he emerge unscathed, but he also succeeded in beheading the enemy’s leadership, toppling their entire stronghold. This achievement is truly dazzling.

Silva was certain that he couldn’t have accomplished this feat himself. Waldo is indeed formidable.

Two hours later, the Dawn Guard had thoroughly searched the entire warship and conducted a headcount of the captured personnel. In total, there were 130 prisoners. Among them, three individuals had reached level 50, and forty-nine had reached level 40. The rest were mostly around level 30.

This was a force that couldn’t be underestimated, even when fully armed, Waldo needed to handle them with caution. However, now they had all become Waldo’s captives and had to follow his every command without question.

In addition, Silva also tallied up a significant amount of spoils of war, including over a million experience points and thousands of evolution points. Seeing these spoils, Waldo’s expression couldn’t help but change.

What a rich haul!

Waldo couldn’t help but exclaim, "Indeed."

When Alanna and Helen saw the spoils of war, they were also left speechless in astonishment. Alanna pondered and said, "Finally, I understand why the Heavenly Dragon wanted to plunder other Noah’s Arks. The speed at which you can acquire various experience points, evolution points, and resources like this is simply incredible."

Upon hearing this, Waldo nodded in agreement. He had only captured a little over a hundred people’s worth of spoils, and it was already this abundant.

If they could plunder an entire surviving population from a Noah’s Ark, the resources they could obtain would be unimaginable. After all, the number of survivors on a single Noah’s Ark ranged from a few thousand to tens of thousands.

Helen also nodded in agreement and added, "Not only that, but I suspect these people may have already been exploited by the Black Wolf and Grey Wolf before. It’s astonishing to see so many resources still available."

They had never seen so many experience points, source stones, and various supplies all at once. At this moment, they were all filled with amazement.

Waldo suddenly had a terrifying idea, "What if we were to plunder the Heavenly Dragon? How would that turn out?"

When this idea came up, not only did it startle Waldo, but Alanna and Helen were also taken aback. However, after the three exchanged glances, they could see ambition in each other’s eyes.

"Well, this might not be a bad idea after all!" Waldo coughed and cleared his throat. "Let me think it over. But for now, we have an important matter at hand. Starting today, this battleship is our spoils of war. However, it can’t go without a name. I believe it’s necessary to give it a name."

Upon hearing this, both women nodded in agreement.

"That’s a good point," Alanna said without hesitation. "We should choose a simple yet meaningful name. How about calling it ’The Sea Serpent’?"

Waldo and Helen exchanged a brief, stiff glance. It seemed Alanna’s talent for naming things was questionable.

Alanna, sensing their reactions, playfully stuck out her tongue. She knew her suggestion wasn’t the best, but she was unwilling to admit it.

"Anyway, I think it’s a good name," she remarked with a shrug.

Waldo chuckled and shook his head, then turned to Helen. "What about you? Can you come up with a name?"

Helen pondered for a moment and said, "How about ’The Little Leviathan’?"

Waldo’s expression darkened. "What kind of name is that?"

Helen defended her choice, saying, "Well, we already have ’Chubby’ and ’Titan Orca.’ Adding ’The Little Leviathan’ would complete the theme, don’t you think?" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Waldo found himself at a loss for words, and the idea was promptly rejected.

To be honest, the naming abilities of these two women left much to be desired.

Finally, after some consideration, Waldo decided to name it the "Inferno Battleship." While this name might not be particularly unique, it was certainly better than the whimsical suggestions from the two women.

Meanwhile, aboard the Dawnship, numerous survivors anxiously awaited news. Not long ago, they received word that a battleship was approaching their location.

Once discovered, everyone on board that ship would become prisoners, or even slaves, with no freedom and no dignity. All their experience points and various resources would be confiscated.

Upon receiving this message, everyone held their breath, filled with worry about the possibility of a disastrous defeat when Waldo and his team engaged in combat.

In the midst of this agonizing wait, the good news finally arrived: led by Waldo, their side had successfully taken control of the enemy battleship!
