Chapter 244: East Zone 8

Now, there are still several hours left until the Dawn Ark opens to all survivors.

During this time, Waldo intends to go and see what the Dawn Ark is like.

"Let’s go take a look while there aren’t many people on the Dawn Ark right now," Waldo suggested.

"Yeah, I’d like to see too!" Alanna and Helen nodded in agreement.

Soon, the three of them, along with Chubby and West, left the room. Upon stepping outside, they realized that there were a total of five rooms on the same level as theirs.

In other words, on the Dawn Ark, there were a total of five first-class tickets!

Five people were enjoying the privilege of first-level tickets. However, at this moment, these rooms were empty. Perhaps they’re not in a hurry to come up here! Alanna speculated.

There are five first-level rooms just on the Dawn Ark! But in our East Zone 8, it seems there’s only one first-level ticket, why so few? Helen was puzzled.

First of all, it’s impossible for Noah’s Ark to have only the Dawn Ark. They had known this before. If every Noah’s Ark, like the Dawn Ark, has five first-level tickets. Then, there should be at least dozens of first-level tickets in total!

However, in the entire East Zone 8, it seems there’s only one first-level ticket.

Waldo shook his head and said, "Tickets should be randomly allocated, and it’s possible that East Zone 8 just had bad luck, resulting in only one being allocated!"

That was the only explanation he could think of. Afterwards, Waldo and the others observed the entire Dawn Ark.

The Dawn Ark was approximately 400 meters long and about 90 meters wide. It had a total of five levels.

Moreover, compared to ordinary ships, the Dawn Ark was significantly different. This colossal vessel had an overall futuristic feel to it. Its design was also unique, powerful, yet comforting.

The entire Noah’s Ark had a very comprehensive set of facilities. Whether it was for rest or entertainment, everything was available. Living on the Noah’s Ark might be better than living on land!

However, in comparison, there was a significant difference in living conditions on the Dawn Ark.

Survivors with different tickets entered different living areas.

Survivors with fourth-level tickets could only live in a cramped space of eight square meters.

At most, it could only fit a bed.

The difference compared to Waldo’s first-level ticket was enormous.

"Survivors with fourth-level tickets have it really tough, they can only live in such a small room. It must be difficult for survivors who are taller or heavier. I’m quite surprised," Alanna remarked.

She had never seen such narrow rooms before.

"How could anyone possibly live in there?" Helen also nodded in agreement.

"Fortunately, we have first-level tickets, and our living space covers 800 square meters. It’s like heaven in comparison!"

Upon hearing this, Waldo shook his head and let out a sigh.

The two women only thought about the survivors with fourth-class tickets who would have to live in such conditions. However, they forgot something important. At least half of the survivors, if not more, didn’t even have the chance to board the Noah’s Ark!

If given the opportunity, even the most wretched and cramped space would be fought for tooth and nail! No matter how difficult the conditions were here, at least one could survive.

"Let’s go, let’s head back," Waldo suggested after they had seen most of the Dawn Ark. At this point, there were still a few hours left before other survivors would board.

"Wait a moment!" Waldo suddenly stopped in his tracks. He sensed another formidable presence nearby, not far from him. Waldo was sure that whoever it was had also noticed him.

Although the other person’s reaction was slightly slower than his, the difference wasn’t significant. "Very strong, with a powerful aura, no weaker than me at all. This is a level 60 survivor," Waldo quickly deduced.

On the other side, when they saw Waldo suddenly stop, the two women immediately went on high alert, wearing defensive expressions. Even Chubby, with its fur standing on end, let out a low growl. As an animal, its natural instincts made it more perceptive than humans.

It seems like it has also detected the presence of the mysterious entity.

"What’s wrong, Waldo?" Alanna couldn’t help but ask in a hushed tone.

"It should be another first-level ticket holder," Waldo replied, "Don’t worry, relax. It’s not a big issue. They probably mean no harm. Even if they do, I’m not afraid, they’re not my match!"

"Hey, friend, come on out. We’re going to be seeing each other often, there’s no need to hide anymore," Waldo called out to the person lurking in the shadows.

Soon, he heard a low chuckle.

"Haha, so it’s our other brothers who have boarded the Noah’s Ark. Nice to meet you!" Following the laughter, a well-built man with a shaved head stepped forward. Judging by his rugged appearance, many would probably initially mistake him for a dangerous thug and be cautious. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

However, Waldo’s intuition told him that this person wasn’t as dangerous as he looked. Besides, Waldo had enough confidence that, even if this man was at level 60, he wouldn’t be a match for him.

"Hello, I’m Silva!" the bald man grinned, revealing a scar on his face that made him appear even more intimidating. If it were an average survivor, they might not even be able to speak right now, fearing that this bald guy wasn’t a good person.

"Waldo!" Waldo replied casually, extending his hand for a brief handshake with Silva.

"Your girlfriend is very beautiful!" Silva looked up and noticed Alanna and Helen behind Waldo. Both women exuded grace and had striking appearances. Even someone as experienced as Silva was impressed upon seeing them for the first time. However, he merely gave a compliment.

"Thank you!" Alanna and Helen nodded graciously in response.

Following that, the two engaged in a brief conversation, and Waldo gradually understood Silva’s background. Silva wasn’t a survivor from East Zone 8, he came from East Zone 9. In addition to this, he was indeed at level 60, just as Waldo had suspected. He was one of the very few in his area to reach level 60.

"Do you have so many level 60 survivors in your area?" Waldo was momentarily surprised by this revelation. Four people reaching level 60? This number exceeded his expectations. In East Zone 8, apart from himself, no other survivors had reached level 60. The difference was quite noticeable when compared.

Soon, the conversation came to an end, and Waldo’s group returned to their room to eat and rest.

"We have just one more hour before the other survivors board this Noah’s Ark! And in four hours, the tsunami will arrive!" Waldo announced.

"Yeah, it’s coming soon," the two women nodded, their expressions somewhat tense and uneasy.

In no time, one hour had passed.
