Chapter 183: Chapter 184: Suspicion
Jiang Si and Qin Shen were heading downstairs when they ran into Jiang Chengwu and Zhang Qingfang, who had just finished feeding the moose.
They hadn’t heard a thing. Seeing Jiang Si and Qin Shen dressed so warmly and heading down so late, looking like they were going out, they frowned. "Where are you two going?"
Jiang Si and Qin Shen had already prepared their story. "We heard a noise. Sounded like something hit the cliff face. We’re going to check it out."
Zhang Qingfang and Jiang Chengwu were a bit baffled. They glanced at each other. They hadn’t heard anything. ’Were we too focused on feeding the moose?’
Jiang Chengwu quickly said, "I’ll go with you."
Jiang Si said, "We’ll go down first. Grandpa, you can come after you get your coat on."
"Alright."
Jiang Si and Qin Shen passed through the second and first floors, opened the two insulated doors, and were immediately hit by a blast of frigid wind and snow.
Qin Shen shielded Jiang Si as she took a few steady steps forward. Glancing to her left, she immediately saw the Icebreaker, which Bo Xi had painstakingly moved up here by controlling his insects.
They had lived here for so long that it felt like home; she had grown attached to it.
The moment she saw it, Jiang Si smiled. She and Qin Shen quickly boarded the Icebreaker to find a suitable spot to secure it with anchors and iron chains.
The anchors were huge. Securing them deep into the mountainside so the ship wouldn’t be easily blown away was difficult and time-consuming.
Before Jiang Si and Qin Shen had even finished securing the first anchor, the rest of the Jiang family, having heard the news and come down together, all froze in stunned silence.
The Icebreaker was supposed to be on the ice. How did it suddenly appear in front of the cave?
’Did it grow legs and walk here on its own?’
It was just too bizarre.
For a moment, everyone wondered if their eyes were playing tricks on them.
Jiang Linhai was the first to react. "Sisi and the others are over there," he said. "Let’s go see what’s happening."
The group rushed over. Seeing Jiang Si, they asked, "What’s going on?"
The howling wind made their voices quiet and hard to hear.
Jiang Si couldn’t easily answer while racing against time to save the Icebreaker from being blown away.
She just pointed, motioning for everyone to help. They could talk later.
Everyone understood what Jiang Si and Qin Shen were doing and hurried to lend a hand.
「Meanwhile.」
Lu Zhifeng and Niu Niu noticed that everyone seemed to be gone from the cave hotel. The baby Vulture was screeching loudly, demanding to see Jiang Si, and was on the verge of breaking down the iron door.
If it got out, it would be utter chaos again.
There would be feathers and footprints to clean up everywhere.
Lu Zhifeng looked at Niu Niu in confusion. "Could they have gone to the ship?"
Niu Niu was worried. "Dad, let’s go look too!"
Lu Zhifeng had wanted to leave her behind, but then he remembered the invisible Bobby and all the birds of prey on the ship. "Alright," he said. "Let’s go take a look."
The father and daughter put on their clothes, donned their headlamps, and opened the insulated doors, only to be stunned by the scene before them.
The ship... was right up against the cliff face.
’Could the wind have blown it here?’
He remembered how the Icebreaker was nearly blown into the sky last time, so he thought it wasn’t entirely impossible.
But if it had been blown over, why was it parked so neatly?
And it didn’t seem damaged at all. The cliff face showed no obvious signs of impact either.
He found it strange. Seeing Jiang Si and the others busy, he took Niu Niu and rushed over.
Seeing Lu Zhifeng and Niu Niu had come out too, Shen Baoying shouted, "The wind and snow are too strong! Take the child back inside! We’ll be done in a minute."
Niu Niu shook her head. "I can stand my ground. I can help."
Her will was firm, and she didn’t want to be separated from the group, so Shen Baoying didn’t press the issue, just reminded Lu Zhifeng to watch her carefully.
Twenty anchors were driven deep into the mountainside and the ground. With the cliff face also providing cover, there was no way it could be blown away barring any accidents.
When they were done, everyone was covered in sweat but also breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Stepping inside the familiar Icebreaker, someone asked in confusion, "How did the ship get here?"
Lu Zhifeng and Niu Niu had assumed everyone else knew how it got here, but it turned out nobody did.
Jiang Si and Qin Shen had considered whether they should just reveal that everyone in their core group had superpowers.
But everyone had only just accepted that Bobby had Invisibility.
To avoid more trouble, it was better that as few people knew as possible.
Jiang Si said, "The wind probably blew it here. It was already here when we came out. If it wasn’t the wind, then maybe a god is secretly helping us."
The Jiang family members couldn’t help but look at Jiang Si.
Because they all knew Jiang Si had a spatial ability.
’Maybe Jiang Si figured out a way to put the ship into her space and then brought it out here.’

It was as if the group was intentionally hiding things from him and his daughter.

The atmosphere grew heavy for a moment. Shen Baoying quickly changed the subject. "Hey, where’s Bo Xi? Why haven’t I seen him?"
They had been out for so long, and it was about time for a late-night snack. Bo Xi was usually very proactive; if they didn’t show up, he should be out looking for them by now.
The group returned to the cave hotel and knocked on Bo Xi’s door.
After a while, there was still no answer.
Qin Shen broke the keypad lock and went in. Bo Xi was lying on the bed, deep in sleep and completely unconscious.
Jiang Si reached out and sensed the energy inside him. It was stabilizing. ’He’s probably in a state of hibernation to recover.’
But the others frowned. "What happened to him?"
With no one able to answer, they could only wait for Bo Xi to wake up.
While Jiang Si was feeding the baby Vulture, Jiang Linhai finally asked, "You’re the one who moved the ship."
There was no need to hide things from her own family.
Jiang Si nodded. "I moved it, but I also didn’t. Bo Xi deserves most of the credit."
Jiang Linhai’s eyes went wide. "He knows you have a spatial ability?"
Jiang Si shook her head. "He doesn’t know about that. But he knows about my other superpower."
"What superpower? You mutated again? You silly girl, why didn’t you tell us? We would’ve been worried sick."
