"!!!" Clovis widened his eyes. He never expected to find a system like this. He thought something had happened, and Hana had just awakened her system.
"Clovis... are you seeing this?"
"Yeah." Clovis nodded. "This is what I and Melody have been seeing. Well, after the last special tower, Luci could see it too."
"So, this is... what you’re talking about." Hana covered her mouth in shock. "Am I..."
Before she could finish her words, Clovis suddenly clutched his head. "Argghhh!"
"Clovis? What is happening to you?" Hana was perplexed. Why would Clovis suddenly be in so much pain?
Hana stood up and looked around. "I have to call Luci!"
"Aaahhh!" Clovis was enduring the pain. The reason he was in so much pain was the same as when he clutched his head while being with Melody.
Voices started to ring in his ears.
"Hurry up! The data has been overrun. Shit, the last attack hit us so hard. I can’t restore the data anymore!"
Melody was clearly the one saying it. After hearing their voices once, he could easily recognize their voices again.
This time, Melody, the person who created this world, panicked.
The data? What happened to the data? The last attack? Did their home get attacked? By who? The enemy? The ally? Or was there another threat that he didn’t know?
She couldn’t restore the data? What did she mean by that? What exactly happened?
It produced the ’error’ all of a sudden.
"I can’t. I need to salvage the situation and stop everything from being destroyed! Oh no! This location..."
Clovis gritted his teeth. For some reason, he only heard Melody’s voice this time, but the pain in his head was twice as painful. If it were amplified further, he might end up passing out.
Hana actually returned with Luci, Melody, and Kanaria. Luci was supposed to be the only one, but Melody and Kanaria’s hearing was exceptional. Even though they had let their guard down, if the noise came from such a close distance, they obviously could hear it.
"Luci! Please check his condition!" Hana panicked.
Luci gulped and tried to grab him, but Clovis suddenly raised his hand, asking her to stop.
Melody suddenly remembered what happened last time. She realized it might be happening again.
Without wasting any more time, Melody grabbed Luci’s shoulder and shook her head.
Luci was confused, while Hana asked, "What’s going on? Melody? Why are you stopping her?"
"Do you know something?" Kanaria frowned.
Melody’s expression turned solemn. "I’m sorry, but without Clovis’s permission, I can’t tell you anything right now."
"So, you know something! Speak! Tell me!" Hana glared at Melody.
"I can’t. All I can tell you is that this is not the first time. I believe Clovis will be fine. Besides, there’s nothing we can do right now."
Hana was obviously not convinced by that reasoning. However, Melody looked troubled as well. She wanted to tell everyone about it, but just like what happened with Another World Mall, she had to keep it a secret.
No matter what she said, Melody remained silent.
The reason they were close to Clovis in the first place was that Clovis could entrust them with his secret. No matter who wanted that secret, including the people among them, they wouldn’t say anything without his permission.
Hana closed her eyes as if she didn’t know what to do anymore.
Clovis screamed one more time.
"Aaaahhhh!" Clovis’ consciousness was gradually fading. Clovis tried to extend his hand, but he lost his strength.
Hana caught his hand, while Melody started panicking. This didn’t happen before.
"Lucente..." Clovis did his best to utter a single name before he suddenly passed out.
"Clovis?!"
"Clovis!"
Melody froze. Clovis had felt the pain before, but he didn’t pass out. What was going on this time?
Besides, the last thing Clovis said was a name... a country’s name.

A few hours later.
Clovis gradually opened his eyes.
"Khh..." He let out a groan while trying to check his surroundings.
"Clovis?!" Kanaria stood up and leaned toward his bed, trying to check on him. "Luci!"
"Kanaira..." Clovis muttered weakly before realizing another person was in the room. It was Melody, but her appearance was a mess.
There were a few band-aids on her left arm and one on her face.
"Melody..." Clovis still felt a bit weak, but he started to gather his thoughts, trying to understand what had just happened to him.
"Wait here. I’m going to call Luci!" Kanaria rushed outside.
"Mhmm..."
Melody hurriedly came to his side and grabbed a cup of water on the bedside table. "Please drink some water."
Melody was trying to help him, but he noticed the band-aids. "What happened to you?"
"This..." Melody smiled wryly. "It’s just a little catfight."
Melody recalled what happened last night. Hana was so angry because Melody didn’t tell her anything.
Then again, she understood Hana’s point. She came home late, and Clovis was waiting for her. They talked and seemed to have a good atmosphere before things suddenly went awry.
She panicked and asked for Luci, but in the end, it was hopeless. They were even arguing about what to do next.
They thought about going to the hospital, but Melody prevented her, which led to a fight.
Melody was doing everything to stop him from leaving the mansion while refusing to say anything. If it were a pure physical fight, there was no way she lost to Hana.
But because she understood Hana’s point, she didn’t fight back.
In the end, Hana and Clovis were supposed to be talking about the engagement and the marriage. It was supposed to be a happy conversation.
"Anyway, I am fine. Just a small pain. I don’t even need the recovery pod since it’s going to recover in half a day or so." Melody chuckled, trying to make light of the situation.
Clovis didn’t understand what was going on, but his mind simply couldn’t think about it. There was only one thing on his mind.
"That’s right... Lucente... What happened to Lucente?"
This was the country name Clovis gave before he passed out.
Melody’s expression turned grim. She took a deep breath before giving the unexpected answer. "Lucente... has ceased to exist."
