Chapter 30 - Training
As the rays of the morning sun peeped through the closed curtains and onto the four humans sleeping on the bad.
A man with blue hair and a noble demeanor slept soundly, as two little girls, one with pink coloured hair and the other blue hair, slept right beside him, locking their hands in his, as a satisfied grin grew on their sleeping faces. A young boy with yellow hair, soundly slept on top of the young man's tummy, resting his cute head on the man's chest.
This was Kenji with Leo, Pheia and Leia. As the little family slept together soundly, a light knock on their door suddenly shook them out of their slumber.
Knock!~ Knock!~ Knock!~
The knocking kept on being consistent, till Kenji woke up.
" I'm coming!" Kenji exclaimed, responding to the knocking, as he gently placed Leo off of his tummy and onto the bed.
He got up, slowly unlocking his hands from the hands of the girls, as he finally escaped them. He headed over to the door, the direction in which the knocking was coming from.
Opening the door, Kenji was greeted by a cute little bird carrying a package in her beak.
" Oh, hey there little one, what's this?" Kenji said, petting the bird on her wings as he took the package in his hands.
Crooov!
The bird exclaimed, as it lightly flew around Kenji and soon waved him goodbye as it left.
Smiling at the fading figure of the little bird, Kenji took the package inside, as he closed the door behind him. He went over to the balcony, so as to not disturb the children from their sleep when he was opening the package.
Arriving at the balcony, he took a seat and began tearing open the package. As he did that, Shreya suddenly popped out of his mind, as she perched unto his shoulder.
" Ooh! What's that? Who sent you a message?" Shreya said, as he saw Kenji take out a letter with an insignia stamp.
Seeing the stamp, Kenji recognized it immediately, it was the first place he had gone to when he had arrived at Rendel town.
The adventurers guild!
" The letter is from the adventurers guild,"Kenji said, as he opened the letter to read it's content.
" Mr Makoto Kenji, we are inquired to inform you that your adventurers' trial will be ending by dawn tomorrow. If the requirement settlement is not met before that time, you will be banned from becoming an adventurer in every city. Thank you for your understanding: Rendel's Guild!"
" The heck?! There's a deadline for these things?!" Kenji exclaimed in shock, as he had just ignored the adventurers'trial thinking that he could complete it at whatever time he wanted.
" Well, it seems you better go flower picking right now or else you'll lose your chance at becoming an adventurer," Shreya said, a bit of urgency in her words.
Without becoming an adventurer, Kenji would be limited to a few towns and cities, rendering him unable to go to proper locations where he can increase his powers, meaning he would have a lesser chance at saving her daughter!
" Alright, you're right, I better get going. But I can't just live the kids here, so what am I going to do?" Kenji exclaimed, knowing full well that leaving the children was an act he could not go through with.
" Just bring them along, you aren't going to a dangerous area," Shreya said, as he flew back into Kenji's mind scape.

" I heard that you know!" Shreya said in his mind, as she had heard what Kenji had just said in his thoughts.
" Yikes!" Kenii exclaimed, as he quickly rushed over into the room to wake the kids up.

After leaving the inn and arriving at the familiar but dreading vast fields, Kenji looked around warily, as he prayed to his stars that he shouldn't come in contact with the mother rabbit again. Maybe this time, she might tear his head off!
" Alright, tell the children to help you begin to pick the herbs, while we do some assessment training," Shreya said, as she leaped out if his mind and onto his shoulder.
" Training? With who?" Kenji asked curiously, as he looked around to see if there was anyone around. But to his dismay, there wasn't. So who was he meant to train with then? The air?
" Me silly! You're training with me!" Shreya said, as she pointed at herself.
" You? How am I meant to train with you, you're not even bigger than my palm!" Kenji said, with a raised eyebrow, as he looked down at the time Phoenix in contemplation.
" Just because I'm small, doesn't mean I can't be strong. Also, I can just change my size!" As he said that, her tiny little body grew bigger and bigger, until it was the same size as three Kenji's combined into one.
" Whoa!" Kenji exclaimed, as he saw the full glory of Shreya's size.
" And that's not all, I can become a human specially for this training. At least, you'll be the only one seeing me use this ability," Shreya said, and without waiting for Kenji's response, she immediately began to morph into a human form.
Her fiery flames suddenly dissapeared and turned into a black dress, as her red feathers on her head became ink black hair. Her eyes were flaming like fire, and her aura radiated a burning beauty.
Kenji was immediately captivated by her astounding beaty, as he was completely out of words.
" I know, I know, i'm very beautiful, but don't you dare have any lewd thoughts!" Shreya said with a playful exppression.

* What lewd thoughts, you're the one bringing it up!* Kenii thought as he shook his head and released a sigh.
" What?! No I'm not, I was just joking!" Shreya said in exaspperation.
" Whatever, you said we're doing training right now right? Well let's begin!" Kenji said, as he got into a battle stance.
" Oh my! Someone seems to be eager to get beaten up. Well, if that truly is your wish....WHO AM I TO STOP YOU, LET ME HELP YOU BREAK A FEW BONES!!" She then leaped into the air, as her fist ignited into flames!
