Chapter 1507: The Incoming Swarms

The foreign creatures had been tracking the whereabouts of Zack Lockwood and other talented warriors. They found out about the destruction of the warrior families.
Upon knowing the reason, the foreign creatures delighted. They finally found the whereabouts of Zack Lockwood. They immediately shared the news with the higher-ups.
The higher-ups of the foreign creatures immediately gave the orders. They wanted Zack Lockwood dead no matter what. So, they used the remaining resources in the Star University Territory.
Earlier, some spies had crossed the border to enter the Star University Territory. Since they had clean backgrounds, the authorities here didn’t find anything wrong.
But they had captured all the spies whose information was available to them. The foreign creatures gave a mission to them. Because of it, everyone hiding in the Star University rushed towards Westwood City.
Their numbers were so great that more than a hundred warriors were going towards Westwood City. Most of them were Purple Mark Warriors.
The rest of them were Gold Mark Warriors who were desperate for a breakthrough. They wanted to use this opportunity.
They didn’t have much confidence in overtaking the Purple Mark Warriors to kill Zack Lockwood, but still, they wanted to try other methods.
There were poison methods and other traps. The Gold Mark Warriors decided to opt for this method. They were going to Westwood City as fast as possible.

Dean’s Office
The Purple Mark Guard appeared at the office all of a sudden. He saw Dean Jerome and shared some important news.
Though he didn’t follow Zack Lockwood, he had been tracking the whereabouts of Zack Lockwood.
"I didn’t expect the foreign creatures to use their last remaining pieces. To think there are a hundred pawns left," Dean Jerome said with a smile.
The Purple Mark Guard heard that, and then he thought of something. His expression grew serious.
"Dean, why don’t I go to Westwood City?" he asked.
Jerome’s eyes flickered.
"Are you afraid that someone with half-step Red Mark strength would take action?" Jerome asked.
The Purple Mark Guard was stunned. He didn’t expect Dean Jerome to see through his thoughts.
"Don’t think too much. The half-step Red Mark Warriors won’t take action. They know what would happen if I take action," Jerome said in a cold tone.
"Zack Lockwood’s strength is not ordinary. He can take down an expert among the Purple Mark Warriors," he added.
The Purple Mark Guard was convinced now.

Westwood City
I’m resting inside one of the inns. I have decided to start the investigation tomorrow.
In the nighttime,
A sense of crisis woke me up. After getting out of bed, I started walking back and forth. I didn’t know where the sense of crisis had come from.
I used my perception. My perception covered the whole room and the place outside the room. Then, I found someone staring at my room.
The person appeared to be an old man in his sixties. From time to time, he looked back. Since it was an inn, he couldn’t take bold action, so he was waiting to see whether the target walked out or not.
The old man’s facial expression changed. He finally made a decision and walked up to the door. Seeing that in my perception, I circulated the sealing force.
In the blink of an eye, my fingers were covered in golden sealing force. I unlocked the door. The old man was standing outside.
Creak!
He touched the door. The door opened. Seeing that, the old man was shocked. Before he could use his mental power to check inside, an index finger came from within and touched his forehead.
The old man froze on the spot. He was like a frozen statue.
Seeing that, I grabbed the old man and took him inside the room. Then, I canceled the power, and under the terrified gaze of the old man, I raised my finger to attack again.
"Spare me!" the old man said.
"Tell me, what are your intentions? If you fail to answer me, then I’ll kill you on the spot," I said in a cold tone.
Hearing that, the old man shattered. But he spilled the beans.
Knowing that the foreign creatures had dispatched their last remaining resources in the Star University to kill me, my eyes flashed with coldness.
Then, my gaze fell on the old man.
"I have committed a mistake. Spare me," the old man uttered.
Hearing that, I once again used my finger to seal the old man. The old man was frozen like a statue. Then, I used the condensed Finger technique to puncture the old man’s head.
Puhchak!
The old man was killed instantly. Then, I looked at the body. I took the storage ring and checked the inventory. The storage ring was empty.
I snorted. The old man was just another desperate person trying to earn resources. Then, I thought of my next plan. I got ready and packed my things in 10 minutes.
I placed the old man’s corpse on the bed before leaving the room. Then, I came downstairs to check out. The staff was surprised, but he didn’t say anything after sensing my strength.
I checked out of the inn. Then, I started walking alone in the street in the middle of the night. My perception was still active. I spotted a few more people in the street.
They were all looking at me. I was not surprised. I think the information has reached everyone. All the hidden rats have come out.
I ignored them and continued to walk toward the city gate. This place was not the right place for a fight; the innocent people living here could be alerted.
After I reached the main gate, the guards who were sleeping woke up. Then, they saw someone who wanted to go outside during the nighttime.
The guards were annoyed, but they saw the strength of the person was that of a Gold Mark Warrior, so they didn’t say anything.
They opened the gate for him to leave. Seeing that, I showed my badge from Star University. After seeing that, the faces of the guards changed drastically.
"Don’t let anyone from the city leave for the next hour," I said to the guards.
The guards firmly nodded their heads.
