Chapter 1499: Bolton Family

I captured the five warriors. They were seriously injured. They had no choice other than to listen to me. All of them were terrified.
They didn’t know how a Gold Mark Warrior could do this to them. He had defeated them in a single move, including the Purple Mark Warrior.
They were scared right now. I brought them to the narrow alley and started the interrogation.
I was not sure whether they would confess the whole thing, but I just needed a name.
"It’s the Bolton Family. The Family Head is a Purple Mark Warrior. He has long since betrayed humanity."
"Later, he made the family members do the same. We were just outsiders who joined their family to get a job."
"Even we were not spared. We were forced to collect intel in the city," the Purple Mark Warrior confessed everything.
Hearing that, I asked whether any other family was involved in such a betrayal.
"I don’t know. I think only the Family Head has some knowledge," the Purple Mark Warrior said.
Hearing that, I understood everything. Then I struck the heads of the warriors one by one.

Their heads were crushed into pieces. They died unwillingly. They had betrayed humanity. I couldn’t spare them.
The punishment is even greater for the Bolton Family. Then I took the mask out from the storage ring and put it on my face.
I decided to leave the corpses here. Since I had come here to root them out, there was no need to hide them.
Then I left the narrow alley and came to the open main street. I approached a nearby cab driver and asked him to take me to the Bolton Family.
The fare was then negotiated. I entered the car and sat down in the back seat.

The car departed from the place. It was flying in the air. I didn’t speak to the driver. Rather, I watched the passing scenes.

The car reached the core area of the city. It was a private area. The public was not allowed here.
Seeing such a notice board, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. It was a good disguise for them. The car then slowly landed in front of the entrance gate.
I exited the car and paid the fare to the driver first. Then I turned around and looked towards the main gate.
There were guards standing at the gate. I waited for the cab to leave. When it was gone, I walked to the gate.
The guards behind the gate were alerted. They were Black Mark Warriors. They came to stop me.
I showed my Star University badge. Seeing that, the faces of them changed drastically. I opened the door and entered inside.
"I need to meet the Head of the Family. I have some important news to tell Head Bolton," I said to the guard.
The guards reacted. They nodded their heads. One of them quickly went to the family to inform him.
I was not afraid of the Head of the Family declining my request. It would arouse unwanted suspicion.
If I was right, he would meet me before deciding to do anything. I waited here. The second guard was looking at me.
I saw fear in his eyes. I had not done anything yet, and he was panicking. Don’t tell me that the guards and servants were not left alone.
Meanwhile,
The Head of the Family, John Bolton, was an old man in his sixties.
He had a lean physique with broad shoulders. He had black curly hair reaching up to the shoulders.
His eyes were black and his skin tone was tan. He stood 6 feet tall. He was exuding the aura of a Peak Purple Mark Warrior.
An important elder, who also followed the family head, entered the room. John Bolton saw the elder. He saw the elder’s face was not good-looking.
"Family Head, a Gold Mark Warrior from the Star University has come to meet you," the elder said in a solemn tone.
Hearing that, John was surprised. He raised his eyebrows. He didn’t expect to hear such news.
"Could it be a warrior doing a mission?" John uttered.
It was normal for the Star University Warriors to seek out help from the family. He threw around the thought that the Gold Mark Warrior might be the same.
"Elder, there is no need to be afraid. The person could be doing a mission here. Let him inside. If he is from the faction, then I can’t afford to send him away without meeting him," John said.
Hearing that, the Elder nodded his head. He had thought the same. He then left the chamber.
A few minutes later,
I entered the mansion. An elder led me towards the Family Head’s Chamber. From time to time, the elder looked at me.
He was observing me. But I could tell that his gaze was unfriendly. It was also a sign that he didn’t welcome a warrior from the Star University here.
We reached the chamber after taking a couple of steps. The elder stopped here. He asked me to go inside alone.
I nodded and opened the door to enter inside. I immediately felt a sense of crisis. I looked around and found the old man seated behind the desk.
I looked at my red ring. I had already deactivated it. Otherwise, it would shield my presence. I didn’t want to stand out right now.
"Family Head Bolton, it’s nice to meet you," I said to him.
"Wow, a young Gold Mark Warrior from Star University. I think you are from the top ten factions. What can I do for you?" John Bolton asked with a smile.
His smile was creepy.
I circulated the golden sealing force in my body. In a flash, the golden force appeared in my palm. I extended my right hand for a greeting.
John Bolton didn’t find anything wrong. He extended his hand for a greeting as well.
When his hand touched mine, the sealing force came into effect. John Bolton stood like a frozen statue. His whole being was sealed.
I smiled and withdrew my hand. Then I went to the desk and opened the drawer. I saw many books and reports.
I picked the first one and began to go through it.
