Chapter 2193: Chapter 2192: Ten Percent Discount
The hundred people surveyed the scene, and even after deploying their Divine Sense, were obstructed by the Light Barrier and couldn’t see the center of the Phoenix Sect, nor the forty-thousand-mile safety zone.
"This Phoenix Sect can indeed boast some skills to have persisted under such circumstances until now."
The elder pondered slightly, his hand suddenly grasped forward sharply.
There, a Phoenix Sect Disciple was engaged in battle with an Extraterritorial Demon, and just as he was about to slay the demon, the elder’s palm unexpectedly pierced through the demon and grabbed the disciple!
"How dare you!"
"Release him!"
Witnessing this, the other Phoenix Sect Disciples all looked stern and shouted aloud.
The elder only smiled lightly, dragging the disciple in front of him, speaking in a lofty manner: "Is this the Phoenix Sect?"
"It is."
The disciple replied solemnly, with no trace of fear on his face.
Not to mention having the Phoenix Sect backing him up, just the battles against the Extraterritorial Demons during this period had greatly diminished his inner fears.
Anyone, when constantly surrounded by crisis, becomes bolder.
"Didn’t the Phoenix Sect declare there was a forty-thousand-mile safety zone here? Where is it?" The elder continued questioning.
"At the center of Phoenix Star." The disciple answered again.
"Take us there." The elder said coolly.
"Take you there?"
The disciple chuckled, shaking his head, and said with calm assertiveness: "We, from the Phoenix Sect, welcome your arrival, but notwithstanding who you are, what identity you hold, nor where you come from... since you are on Phoenix Sect’s territory, you must conduct affairs by its rules."
"Entering is not impossible; however, two messages previously sent out by the Phoenix Sect clearly stated how you can enter. You all may prepare accordingly."
Upon hearing this, the elder’s expression immediately turned cold, and others sneered.
"Rules? In this situation, what rules does a mere Phoenix Sect have to discuss with us?"
"Hahaha, it’s utterly laughable!"
"Do you know who we are? Before the Extraterritorial Demons erupted, sects like your Phoenix Sect could be wiped out at a flick of a wrist!"
"Speaking of your sect’s ridiculous rules, a Divine Sea Realm demands ten billion Spirit Crystals to enter, and for a Fusion Realm, demanding a hundred billion! Do you truly think we have money to burn, or believe your Phoenix Sect has the qualifications to demand these Spirit Crystals from us?"
"Frankly speaking, I doubt there are any Fusion Realm experts within your Phoenix Sect itself. I fail to understand what gives you courage to act so recklessly!"
Sounds of ridicule mixed with blasts towards the Extraterritorial Demons resonated.
It’s evident these people shared the same thoughts as most others.
Firstly, they don’t believe the Phoenix Sect truly has such a safe haven.
Their survival can only be attributed to luck, given the absence of fifth-level Extraterritorial Demons around their vicinity; entering Phoenix Sect doesn’t guarantee more than a temporary refuge.
Secondly, even if there were truly such a safe haven, the Phoenix Sect should respectfully invite them inside!
After all, they are at least Seventh Grade Divine Sea Realm peak experts, with a Fourth Grade Fusion Realm mighty being among them!
With the Phoenix Sect talking about misguided rules, it’s essentially courting disaster!
"Guess what an old man’s cultivation base is?" The elder glared at the disciple, his smile tinged with killing intent.
Yet, for that killing intent, the disciple seemed unfazed.
"I mentioned earlier, regardless of the cultivation level, even if a Heavenly Emperor Realm arrives, they must adhere to the Phoenix Sect’s rules."
"Hahaha..."
Another bout of laughter erupted.
"Heavenly Emperor Realm? Did you just say Heavenly Emperor Realm? Did I hear that wrong? Do you know how terrifying a Heavenly Emperor Realm expert can be?"
The middle-aged man laughed furiously, had the elder not grabbed this disciple, he might already have slapped him dead.
"Let me tell you, Heavenly Emperor Realm is an existence that can obliterate everything!"
"With a mere Phoenix Sect, a Heavenly Emperor expert needs only a glance to annihilate you all!"
"Rash boasts must have some capital, I’ve never seen a sect as foolish and arrogant as your Phoenix Sect!"
"Enough!"
The elder frowned slightly, and shouted: "Enough with the chatter; I might spare your life, but you must immediately head back and have your Sect Master come here!"
"The Sect Master will come indeed, and very soon, as you are the first guests of our Phoenix Sect." The disciple smiled.
Despite being in the Void Heaven Realm, his smile made the elder and others furrow their brows.
"Oh!"
The middle-aged man suddenly recalled something and said: "Word has it that the Sect Master of Phoenix Sect is the Nine Shadows Young Master Su Baliu?"
Upon hearing this, the disciple paused for a moment, shook his head and replied, "I am not aware of that."
Truth be told, not only him, but even Su Han himself did not know his identity had been revealed.
After all, the people from the Dragon Martial Continent returned to the Lower-Class Star Region after the Extraterritorial Demon outbreak.
Since Su Han had been occupied with other matters and nobody informed him, naturally he didn’t know.
"How do you know this sect belongs to Nine Shadows Young Master?"
At that moment, a casual voice arrived from afar.
The elder and others immediately looked up to see dozens of figures approaching from the distance.
The speaker was the figure standing foremost, a young man in white.
"Hmm?"
The elder frowned, opened his mouth and said: "It seems that you are Su Han, Sect Master of Phoenix Sect? But your appearance doesn’t quite match Su Baliu!"
Su Han smiled gently and didn’t answer.
He realized his identity had certainly been exposed; otherwise, how would they know?
But... how did it get exposed?
"What an ignorant fool indeed!"
Behind the elder, the middle-aged man snorted coldly and said: "Now the whole Lower-Class Star Region knows you are Su Baliu, yet you still don’t know? A frog at the bottom of the well, hahaha..."
Regarding their mockery, Su Han paid it no mind.
He looked towards the elder and gestured at the Phoenix Sect Disciple, saying: "Release him first, let’s talk properly."
The elder pondered slightly, waved his hand, and directly tossed the disciple towards Su Han.
"Are you alright?" Su Han caught the disciple and asked with a smile.
The latter, overwhelmed by the honor, hurriedly replied: "Sect Master, I’m fine."
"Good then."
Su Han nodded, then looked towards the elder and others.
"Your presence graces our Phoenix Sect, but as my disciple has said, Phoenix Sect follows its rules, and to enter, you must adhere to them."
"Of course, consider yourselves lucky to be the first guests of our sect; this sect master shall grant you a ten percent discount, how about it?"
