Chapter 89: Chapter 89 Sharing Space

That afternoon, Elara received a call from Alpha Hunter.
"Hello, Hunter." Elara always felt nervous around Alpha Hunter, worried their fake marriage might be exposed.
"Elara, my grandson is threatening to run away from home. I was thinking since Orion seems to connect with you, would you mind having him stay at your place for a few days?"
Elara was momentarily surprised, then smiled. "Of course. He’s welcome to stay for a few days, though our housekeeper might struggle with the extra work. Maybe we could bring along his usual caretaker too?"
"Great idea. Let him stay for a week, then his father can come get him."
Elara offered to pick the boy up herself, but Alpha Hunter refused.
"I’ll bring him over personally."
Orion stuck his tongue out at his stern-faced father sitting on the couch, then followed his grandfather out with his chin up.
Yardley sighed helplessly and called Alpha Dominic .

When Alpha Hunter arrived at the couple’s home, he exchanged a meaningful glance with Linda.
There was a mischievous twinkle in the old Alpha’s eyes that Linda recognized all too well.
Linda understood immediately. She clasped her hands together and put on her most welcoming smile. "Little Orion, which room would you like to stay in?"
At six years old, Orion normally had no problem sleeping alone.
But his caretaker would sleep in the adjacent room in case anything happened during the night.
Orion ran from room to room like he was house hunting, then pointed at Elara’s room. "I want this one!" He bounced on his toes with excitement.
Luckily, there was an empty guest room right next to Elara’s.
"Perfect, then your nanny can stay right here next to you." Linda opened the door to show him the cozy space.
But Orion tilted his head curiously, noticing clothes hanging on the rack at the foot of the bed. "Grandpa, someone’s already using this room!"
"Don’t worry about that. Those are your aunt’s things. I’ll have Linda ask her - she’ll agree, I’m sure." Alpha Hunter’s voice carried the confidence of someone who knew exactly what he was doing.
Linda bit back a smile and secretly gave her boss a thumbs up, and Alpha Hunter looked quite pleased with himself.
His plan was working perfectly.
[Separate bedrooms? Not on his watch!]
When Elara returned from work to find all her personal belongings moved to the master bedroom, she felt like her world was ending.
She stood in the doorway, staring at her clothes now hanging in Dominic’s massive walk-in closet.
"Linda, what’s going on here?" Her voice came out higher than usual.
Linda smiled awkwardly, wringing her hands nervously. "Luna Elara, these were Alpha Hunter’s orders. I only told him this was your dressing room. I couldn’t very well tell him that you and Alpha Dominic sleep separately!"
"Besides, the young master is here. He’s sharp as a tack - if he found out you two sleep apart, he’d surely tell his grandfather." Linda’s words tumbled out in a rush.
"Right," Elara’s eye twitched. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. "I understand."
[Thank God Dominic had a business dinner and wasn’t home yet. She needed time to mentally prepare for this awkwardness.]
She used Alpha Dominic’s bathroom to get ready for bed, then looked at the massive king-size bed and decided to sleep on the far side.
Checking the time - 9:30 - she turned off the lights and forced herself to fall asleep. If she was already asleep when he returned, she wouldn’t have to face the awkwardness.
Around eleven, Alpha Dominic pushed open the bedroom door, immediately noticing the small figure in his bed.
His eyes darkened as he approached silently.
The woman lay sleeping on her side, completely unaware of his presence.
In the dim light, her pajama strap had slipped, revealing skin that rose and fell gently with each breath.
Alpha Dominic’s Adam’s apple moved dramatically before he turned and headed for the bathroom.
He showered as quickly as possible and emerged still warm from the hot water.
Carefully lifting the covers, Alpha Dominic slid into bed behind her, moving close enough to smell the faint fragrance in her hair.
He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her into his embrace.
The woman made a soft sound and unconsciously nestled closer against his chest.
Alpha Dominic moved his lips near the nape of her neck, barely touching as he breathed out warmly with a slight chuckle, "Sweetheart, you came to my bed tonight."
