Chapter 487: Young Miss Is Brutal.
Jamal was in a dilemma and asked, "Sir, if you are doing this because I told your team to stand out of the house, then I apologize."
Leo shook his head and replied, "No, it is not about apologizing to me, but about how you should have been a man of honor that I thought you were. If you think that fighting my boys fair and square is too much, I will give you a choice, chase Lily around the compound and if you are able to catch her, I will forget that anything ever happened. I promise you, I will never bring it up again and things would stay the same, none of the people here would have to know what happened."
Jamal’s face turned pale, and Leo said, "Don’t think of this as if I am trying to embarrass you, Lily is can make my boys sweat and grovel."
The more Leo spoke, the more ashamed Jamal felt because now the whole thing was falling down on his integrity. He knew that he had made a mistake out of his insecurity but to think that Leo would come after him with such a hard intent.
Leo sensed the unsatisfied emotion from Jamal and said, "Jamal, you think I am so petty that I would come after you for something like this? The reason I am saying all this is because you didn’t follow an instruction. You acted on your own and while I am not doubting your competence, I am definitely worried if you are a good fit to protect the house where my family lives."
Jamal’s face turned pale, he looked at Leo and said, "Sir, I may have been too high in my head but I am not incompetent."
Leo nodded and shrugged before he said, "Prove it, can you follow orders? If you cannot then how do you manage to defend the dignity of a soldier? My men have all served, but they have never been out of line, they had their pride but they never overlooked a direct command. You showed a character flaw that can breed even high conflicts for us in the future."
Jamal had no answer to that, just when he was about to answer, Lily walked over, she was still wearing her boxing gloves and gear. She was learning martial arts and not just boxing but her punching techniques have refined over the years a lot.
She looked at Leo and asked, "Baba, I want to spar with Uncle Kyle and the rest, where are they?"
Leo replied calmly, "They would be coming over, till then you can keep warm."
Lily nodded and waited on the side while doing some exercises. Kyle and the rest also came over just at this time. Leo looked at the still hesitant Jamal, and asked, "Jamal, I don’t have all day for this, so either you make a choice now, or you can tell me about it, I will try to get you reinstated in the front lines."
The people didn’t understand what was going on, when Lily said, "Uncle Kyle, come, I have to settle accounts with you."
Kyle smiled and then he moved quickly, the young man didn’t hold back, he charged over, and Jamal was shocked, he could tell that Kyle was exerting more strength than necessary when handling a kid. However, Lily was not to be slighted as well, she charged forth on her own pace, and just when they were about to collide, the young miss took a side step, grabbed onto Kyle’s leg and pulled it to the side, the sudden pull caused the later to imbalance and fall on the ground.
Lily let go of the leg and made a beeline towards the fallen man, however, Kyle flicked on his back and stood up just in time to see a kick lashing towards him. He crossed his hands in front of his chest and defended, and Leo had no need to say anything. The people from the guard teams all just watched as Lily and Kyle spar, Snow also joined in at some point and she noticed that Jamal was incredibly tense, she sighed, Leo must have intimidated the guy, and after a few minutes, the brawl came to an end and Kyle had ended up with a dirty suit and a stain on his chin. This stain was something that Lily had left, but it was not a blow, she had just depicted what her knock out punch would be like.
Lily smirked as the rest of the guards praised her. Lily turned to look at Kyle and said, "Uncle Kyle, you are getting slower."
Kyle revealed a bitter smile and said, "Well, I have been busy Young Miss."
Lily put on a serious expression and said, "Yes, I understand, it might not have been easy for you to woo my Aunt June. Don’t worry, I will go easy on you the next time."

Lily looked at Leo, who picked her up in his arms and asked, "Baba, what is going on here?"
Leo sighed and then replied to her, before the young Miss turned to look at Jamal and asked, "Mister Jamal, can I ask you something?"
Jamal was stunned, he thought how he had to deal with a snobbish child, but then again, he knew that Lily was capable as well, she had been over the news even when her mother was not the Minister of Finance. He nodded and Lily asked, "Why are you so hesitant to fight with them? Looking at you, I am sure that you are a strong person, and none of the people deny that. So could you be afraid of something else?"
Jamal was surprised and Lily said, "You can rest assured anything that happens in this compound would stay in this compound. You can tell us if you have anything causing trouble for you."
Her voice was akin to a whisper that calmed down the man and he said, "Well, when I was posted here, I was given a warning, if I failed to do my duty properly, I would be fired from the department and they would also cancel the admission of my child in the Military school."
He looked at Leo and said, "Sir, I understand that I might come across as someone who didn’t follow the rules, but had I let Mister Kyle inside the house yesterday, without your presence, the system would have flagged me for being careless."
Leo understood that it was the system that was used for monitoring the house. The young man sighed and replied, "I understand, well, if that was the case, you could have told us about it earlier. This matter would not have risen to this level. I will check the system algorithm."
Jamal was shocked, he had no idea what to say, all this while he had been holding back from speaking something against the system that was being used to monitor them. Snow shook her head and after a few minutes, they calmed Jamal and left the place for work.

Lily looked at Kyle who was walking behind Leo, and asked, "Baba, are you buying the neighboring house for Uncles?"
Leo nodded calmly and asked, "Yes."
Lily thought for a bit, before Lily said, "Then make sure you renovate one side of the garden and turn it into a training ground where they can all spar, I can tell they are all getting slow and look at Uncle Kyle, he has been eating all the good food that Aunty June made and have gained weight. How is is supposed to protect her from hooligans when they go out."
Thinking about it, Leo nodded and replied, "Indeed, I will handle this."
Lily nodded calmly and then she smiled at the guards who had ugly faces. Lily asked innocently, "What happened, why are you all not happy?"
Kyle smiled which was worse than crying and shook his head as he said, "Young Miss, thank you for your grace."
Lily nodded with a smile on her face, she was brutal and the guards came to know this fact again. The last time they were sparring Kyle had hit her, although they would control themselves but Lily was so skilled that sometimes they mistimed and ended up hurting her, but the next time when Lily came to spar with them, not only did she defeat the people, but also gave them a training session that made them puke in their nightmares.

Jamal and Melvin watched as the people vanished inside the house, and Melvin said, "Thank god, Young Miss Lily stepped in or it would have been bad for you."
Jamal nodded and asked, "Why did you even tell them anything about it?"
He was not angry that Melvin snitched on him, but rather curious, because Melvin was a loyal man and would not betray a brother. Melvins sighed and said, "Mister Cardinal said that if I was to hide anything from him, then he would make sure that all of us suffer."
Jamal nodded in understanding, after all, how could they stand against this guy who was ruling the nation now?
