Chapter 235: Chapter 144: Taking Over the Mission, The Half-Day Offensive Battle (Part 2)

"It’s you damned Wizards again!"

A wave of incomparably potent divine grace erupted from the depths of the valley.

A streak of light shot over, appearing above the wall in an instant.

The halo of light dissipated, revealing Andri’s figure.

His gaze fell coldly upon the figure opposite him, but in the next second, his expression froze. His momentum faltered, and his face rapidly shifted from angry and severe to shocked and dumbfounded, then to horrified and terrified—a vivid display of changing expressions.

"It’s you!"

The Winter Frost Priests who had followed him heard the near-shriek in Andri’s voice and couldn’t help but look puzzled, not understanding why Lord Andri was reacting so strongly.

According to the feedback from the Eye of Cold Winter, the man before them was clearly just a Level 1 Liquidation Wizard.

"A mere Level 1 Wizard dares to run wild here? He must have a death wish."

A Third-Class Priest sneered, stepped forward, and said,

"Lord Andri, there’s no need for you to act. Just leave him to me."

However, as soon as he finished speaking, Andri snapped without turning his head, "Don’t let your guard down! This guy is no ordinary Level 1 Wizard!"

The Third-Class Priest was taken aback and subconsciously replied, "But my lord, the Eye of Cold Winter clearly showed..."

Andri impatiently cut him off, barking, "You fool! Have you ever seen a Level 1 Wizard shatter a Divine Magic Shield in the blink of an eye?"

His words made the other Priests realize what had happened, and their expressions changed.

Indeed. Little more than thirty seconds had passed between the start of the attack and their arrival. To break the Divine Magic Shield in such a short time was definitely not something a Level 1 Wizard could do.

This guy was clearly not as simple as he appeared!

Realizing this, the Winter Frost Priests’ expressions immediately grew solemn.

"All of you, attack together! Don’t hold back!"

Andri had also regained his composure by this point.

The enemy was powerful, but with more than ten allies on his side, he wasn’t necessarily outmatched.

Pei Ze saw the Priests’ subtle movements and gave a disdainful smile. The Silver Star on his wrist rapidly melted, spreading quickly across his entire body.

Immediately after, Lightning Runes emerged one after another, scrambling to sink into his body.

A dazzling burst of lightning erupted, and Pei Ze looked as if he had donned a suit of armor made entirely of lightning.

He had just used the Tough Magic Tattoo not long ago, and it was currently recharging, so he couldn’t use it again.

But Pei Ze wasn’t concerned. The fusion with the Silver Star plus thirty-two Lightning Runes was more than enough.

In the next instant, Pei Ze’s figure vanished from his spot.

The Winter Frost Priests who saw this immediately raised their guard and cast Protective Divine Techniques.

But it was useless. A moment later, a blood-curdling scream rang out.

Andri turned his head just in time to see his companion’s headless body slowly fall to the ground, with Pei Ze standing beside it.

"Damn it!"

Andri’s eyes looked ready to split with rage. A thick layer of hard ice instantly formed on his right arm, and he thrust his hand toward Pei Ze.

Following his movement, a surging torrent of frost poured out, sweeping toward Pei Ze like a raging current.

Unfortunately, it missed.

Empowered by thirty-two Lightning Runes, Pei Ze’s speed was as fast as a flash of lightning. He appeared behind another Winter Frost Priest as if he had teleported and blew the man’s head apart with a single punch.

The scene from yesterday repeated itself, only this time, the ones being slaughtered were the Turin People.

Faced with Pei Ze’s terrifying power, the Winter Frost Priests had no way to fight back at all.

Their so-called divine protection was as fragile as thin paper before the searing lightning, unable to block even a single punch from Pei Ze.

In less than a minute, all ten-plus Winter Frost Priests had become cold corpses.

Andri watched this scene with a pale face, a heart-clenching fear involuntarily sprouting in his heart.

"Only you are left."

Pei Ze looked at Andri and, without hesitation, activated two magic tattoos, Energy Gathering and Thunderburst. The brilliance of the lightning on his body surged once again.

The incomparably ferocious and searing aura made Andri’s scalp tingle. With no time for further thought, he frantically channeled the power of his Sacred Artifact. Amid a series of sharp cracking sounds, the hard ice rapidly spread from his arm to cover his entire body.

In the blink of an eye, he too was covered in a suit of ice armor.

’What a strong wave of divine grace!’

Pei Ze’s eyes lit up.

The Sacred Artifact on this guy was clearly much more advanced than the so-called Eye of Cold Winter.

A Sacred Artifact like this must contain an incredibly dense Power of Faith.

Perhaps a single Sacred Artifact could be refined into two or three Faith Crystals.

’I hope this thing is of good quality and doesn’t break so easily.’

Pei Ze smiled faintly, his figure shooting out like a bolt of electricity, charging at Andri with unstoppable ferocity.

BOOM!

Searing lightning and icy frost erupted in the void. Halos of blue and white light intertwined, annihilating and neutralizing each other.

The Turin People in the valley struggled to fend off the crow flock’s attacks, occasionally looking up at the sky with hopeful expressions.

Hoping their great Priest would slay the invader.

But to their disappointment, as time passed, the lightning in the sky gradually overwhelmed the frost. The blue halo continuously encroached upon the space of the white one.

Seeing this, even the most foolish among them understood that Lord Andri, in whom they had placed such high hopes, was about to lose.

RUMBLE!

A blinding flash of lightning tore through the sky, completely dispersing all of the frost.

A figure fell from the sky like a meteor, crashing into a stone house.

A loud roar erupted as dust and smoke billowed. The house instantly collapsed into a pile of rubble.

When the dust settled, Andri could be seen lying motionless amid the ruins. His body was charred black, with barely an uninjured spot to be found, and he was clearly breathing his last.

Pei Ze slowly descended from the sky, the lightning around him gradually fading.

Andri’s strength was, at best, on par with a Second-level Gasification Wizard.

Even without using his full strength, Pei Ze had been more than capable of easily defeating an opponent of this level.

’At my current level, if I go all out, I could even put up a fight against a Level 2 Crystalized Wizard.’

With a slight smile, Pei Ze deactivated the Silver Star fusion and walked over to Andri.

The Fourth-Class Priest lay on the ground, unable to move, his eyes staring at Pei Ze in terror.

Pei Ze smiled faintly. With a flick of his finger, an arc of electricity shot out with a FZZT, piercing through Andri’s brow.

Then, with a beckoning gesture, two rings lifted off Andri’s hands and floated into his palm.

One ring was a Spatial Item.

The other contained a strong wave of divine grace—it was clearly the Sacred Artifact from before.

Although Pei Ze didn’t specialize in enchanting, his skill in it was no worse than some Tier One or Two Enchanters. Yet, after holding the ring and examining it for a moment, he still couldn’t decipher its crafting process.

’This is a refining process from a completely different system.’

Pei Ze shook his head and put the ring away.

The power of this Sacred Artifact was only slightly better than an ordinary Tier Two Witchcraft Artifact, a far cry from his Silver Star.

Besides, things like Sacred Artifacts usually required divine grace to be activated; a Wizard couldn’t use them at all.

Unless he modified it.

But if he did that, without divine grace, the Sacred Artifact’s power would probably be less than even a Glimmer-grade Magic Item.

With Andri’s death, the invasion battle was coming to a close.

Su Ya and Peng Yan, who arrived later, also joined the cleanup.

The two of them had already reached the limit for Tier One Legendary Knights and had also mastered Dual Elements Power, giving them combat abilities comparable to a Tier Two Legendary Knight.

With all the Winter Frost Priests dead, there was almost no one left who could be their match.

By the time they had cleared out the remaining soldiers and cleaned up the battlefield, the sky was already beginning to turn a faint yellow.

Pei Ze stayed behind in the valley to hold the fort, sending Su Ya and Peng Yan back to Red Maple City on giant eagles to bring golems, slaves, and the underground mining system.

It was already evening when Su Ya and Peng Yan returned to Red Maple City.

They made no effort to conceal their actions. The commotion of twenty Clay Golems marching through Red Maple City immediately attracted a great deal of attention.

Soon, people recognized Su Ya and Peng Yan.

And so, that very night, the news that Pei Ze had single-handedly conquered the Secret Silver Resource Point in just half a day spread throughout Red Maple City, causing a tremendous uproar.
