Chapter 1967: Chapter 1971: Big Brother... Is Still... Alive

Roselia had known ROY for many years. When they first met, Roselia was nothing more than an ordinary girl. She truly liked ROY, but ROY didn’t have that kind of feeling for her.

In order to win ROY’s heart, Roselia started practicing with guns and fists, training herself in a twisted way. At first she followed at ROY’s side, and later she was appreciated by Luo Ke and became capable of handling things on her own.

Roselia had always been known as a lustful woman, having slept with countless men, but in her heart she always had a feeling for ROY that was different from mere desire. Or maybe, precisely because she couldn’t have ROY, she kept hunting handsome men everywhere to fill the emptiness inside.

The real ROY was aware of that feeling. He only appreciated Roselia; there was no romance between them. But because Roselia had once taken a bullet for him, ROY had always tolerated her, even giving way to her in everything.

Things like these private feelings were impossible for Interpol to investigate clearly, and Leng Zirui had never shown Roselia the same closeness ROY used to show her.

At this meeting with ROY, Roselia had already sensed something off about him. After all, she was too familiar with the real ROY. Although Leng Zirui looked very much like him and their temperaments were similar, he didn’t have that evil aura the real ROY carried.

Before this, Roselia had been a little suspicious. When Leng Zirui pressed the dagger against Roselia’s throat, Roselia had already guessed that the ROY in front of her wasn’t the real one, because that man would never truly use a blade on her.

The ROY before her was fake, so Roselia naturally showed no mercy, attacking him like a madwoman. She wanted to capture Leng Zirui and force him to reveal the real ROY’s whereabouts. Knowing his identity had been exposed, Leng Zirui certainly wouldn’t hold back on her either. The man and the woman just went at each other fiercely in the jungle.

Fortunately, Luo Ke’s men also knew the tempers of the two and didn’t interfere in their hunt, nor were they worried about being discovered by others.

After several rounds of fighting, Roselia was still a notch weaker than Leng Zirui and was kicked flying by him. Her body was directly impaled on a broken tree branch, and blood gushed from her mouth and nose. With only one last breath left, Roselia just stared straight at Leng Zirui.

"Tell... me, ROY... ge... is still... alive, isn’t he?!"

There was shock in Leng Zirui’s eyes. A woman who had killed countless people, at the very last moment before death, actually asked such a question. This was something he had never expected.

Listening to her question, Leng Zirui finally understood why he’d been exposed. These two under Luo Ke clearly had an unusual personal relationship, and that was the one thing he hadn’t known.

Looking into those sapphire eyes of hers, no killing intent in them, only a young girl’s feelings, Leng Zirui nodded lightly and told a lie.

"Yes, he’s not dead. He’s just locked up in a prison."

Roselia’s lips curved up, her head slumped weakly to the side, and she died on the spot.

Leng Zirui rushed forward and carefully searched her body for any place where a transmitter might be hidden. He finally found a small box with a transmitter in her pocket, but because of their fight just now, the transmitter had already been damaged, and the indicator light on it no longer flashed.
