Qin Mobai got out of the car, and soon, Cen Jingyi also stepped out of the police car to meet him.
"Oh my goodness, did something happen that I don’t know about? You guys tell me!" Lu Li couldn’t believe he wasn’t aware of something this thrilling and felt like he’d lost touch with society.
"Once it hits six o’clock, we’ll go in to get them!" Qin Mobai checked the time and said.
The birthday banquet was set to start at half past six, but the guests would arrive early, and driving from here to the hotel would take over an hour, so they would head out in advance.
