Chapter 76: The Hero’s Celebration Turns Into Disaster

All of them were sitting at the large table, while at the head was sitting another black-robed man, but his robe had the symbol of a golden mask with black flames spreading outward like wings in the back, while the others had a golden broken mask surrounded by three black flames in the back.
"Is everything ready?" The head seat person asked the other black robed man, who nodded and said. "All demonic arrays are already prepared, and he will also do his job." The head seat man nodded and looked around.

’This is bad.’ This thought comes into his mind, and he instantly shouts toward Luke, "Luke, get out of the stadium... now!"
Luke suddenly heard Nyx’s worried voice and got confused, but before he could respond to it.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! ... BOOM!
Ten explosions occurred simultaneously inside the city in various locations, and the next moment, ten thick beams of demonic light pillars shoot toward the sky from those places. When they reached the sky, an enormous redish color demonic magic array appeared in the sky, which was covering the whole central district of Stormveil County.

Luke tries to calm his emotion and turned his gaze toward Aurielle and his knights, maids; fortunately all of them were okay, which calmed down his heart, but when he turned toward seated members to check on Naivara, he got shocked.
Because there Count was flying into the sky without any wings, ’No, he is not flying... he is floating.’ This thought automatically comes into his mind when he sees some aether surrounding the Count.
WHOOSHHH! But the next moment, the demonic array, which was situated in the sky, released a redish light beam toward the stadium.
Count, who was looking at the array warily, instantly saw this attack and used his power to counterattack.
CRRRACKLE... A thick bolt of lightning was released from his right hand and collided with the light beam, KRA-KOOOOOM!. A loud explosion sound comes, then comes the shockwave, which nearly blows away the standing people.

Luke saw the situation was not good and instantly ran toward Aurielle, but then—
"WHOOOOOOOM..." The light beam suddenly got large and overwhelmed the lightning before crashing on everyone. "NO!!!" Everyone who saw this scream in fear, while Luke’s thoughts slowed for a second, and he tried to find any solution, which didn’t come.
The next moment the whole stadium suddenly got quiet, but no explosion came and not anyting else. The civilians opened their eyes slowly and found out that they were safe. ’Then what was that demonic light beam done?’ This thought comes into everyone’s mind.
But soon they found their answers, as all knights were gone and many seats were empty, without anything left. "No ash, no body parts, or anything; they just vanished."
Count also looked around with angry eyes, as this was the second time someone attacked his county, his city, his home.
"Father!" Octavia’s worried voice comes from the ground, because she noticed all the knights who were below the golden stage had disappeared. This means Nyra, Naivara, Elias, and her mother Vivienne are also gone.
Magnus heard his daughter’s worried voice and then looked toward the ten demonic pillars and said. "All of them are transported to the secret realm, so go ahead and destroy those pillars fast."
Octavia felt little relief after finding that all of them didn’t transport to the demon land but the secret realm, because going into demon land, means death. But from secret realm, they can atleast saved them.
Magnus saw his daughter smile, but he didn’t say anything, because he knows, it’s not simple and that secret realm will also going to be dangerous for them; then he looked toward the prince and princess as she was an early golden knight and the prince was a mid-golden knight, so they were left.
"I hope both of you can help us in this situation," he said normally, because for him, only stronger people can demand respect, not everyone.

"kekekekee. " Kavos laughed after seeing the mission half-successful and mocked Magnus. "Magnus, have you ever thought? That your territory will be attacked again?"
Magnus heard the black-robed man’s voice, but instead of reacting to his words, his mind became focused on something else. That voice... why did it feel so familiar? It was buried deep in his memories, yet he couldn’t place where he had heard it before.
Seeing Magnus’s lost expression, Kavos continued in a mocking tone. "Your daughter and son, along with your wife, will all die, just like your father, mother, and brother did."
"KRRRRRAAAAA!" Suddenly, Count Magnus released his aura, which shook the entire battlefield as a wave of pressure exploded from his body. Dust rose from the ground, and the civilians felt their bodies become heavy under the overwhelming presence as they looked terrified toward above.
Octavia also looks worriedly toward her father, because she has never seen him so angry before.
Magnus’s eyes become bloodshot red because he remembered... remembered that day when his everything was snatched from him. His family members were killed and the person who did this is the person standing in front of him.
"Heh," Kavos chuckled at Magnus and said mockingly. "Did you really think? that I died when demons attacked my territory?" Magnus didn’t reply to him, but instead the wind around him started to become fast, and black clouds started gathering above him.
Kavos saw all of this and shook his head, because when demons attacked his territory, he joined the infernal choir organization, and that’s why he was able to save his life, though it was not bad, as he got so much power and faster realm growth, which is almost comparable to a prodigy.
"Let’s take our fight somewhere, because I am pretty sure you don’t want to destroy your territory by our fight, right?" Kavos, with a laugh, said to Magnus, because if they fought, then those demonic magic array will also get damaged, which Kavos also don’t want.
Magnus heard Kavos’s voice and paused. His eyes quickly scanned the surroundings, and the next moment, he shot into the sky. Kavos followed him, and soon both of them moved far away from the city.
The nine Black Chorus also launched themselves toward Magnus and Kavos direction, while one remained to control the situation.
"It seems like we have a problem here." Lysandra said after finding one black-robed man, who was a Radditing diamond rank, which is above golden rank.
