Chapter 832: Chapter 832: Fiery Teacher

Qin Sisi smiled at him and turned to call out to Yun Cheng, "Yun Cheng, go back with Wen Xuan!"

"Okay." Yun Cheng responded loudly, striding forward to help Wen Xuan up, his face showing genuine concern.

As the two boys gradually walked away, Qin Sisi also bid farewell to Xiao Meng and Li Li to Teacher Disa and Teacher Yirou.

That’s when Disa suddenly remembered something and asked, "Right, did you find the Hollow Spirit Spin?"

Qin Sisi nodded and replied, "We found it and absorbed the Wind Spirit Power within."

Disa was somewhat relieved, glad that there had been some gains. His expression softened as he continued, "Good that you found it. The Wind Spirit Power within the Hollow Spirit Spin is very pure. Once absorbed to a certain extent, the Wind Attribute Magic will naturally be activated. How many did you find this time?"

Although he was asking, Disa had already concluded that the answer would be one, as the Hollow Spirit Spin was not easy to come by. Even with the speed of travel hastened by the Wings of Rainbow’s power, finding one would already be very fortunate.

Yet, Qin Sisi calmly answered, "Three."

Disa’s eyes widened instantly. "Three?"

Qin Sisi nodded, glanced at Li Li beside her, and specifically added, "Li Li helped us find one."

Disa glanced at Li Li, who, coming from the Changkong family with intrinsic Wind Attribute, would have a more sensitive feeling towards the Hollow Spirit Spin. It wasn’t impossible for her to find one.

However, the fact that Qin Sisi had found two was still a surprise to him. He didn’t say much more and waved them off to head back.

Watching Qin Sisi’s fading figure, Disa seemed to be questioning himself, "Could it be that Qin Sisi really has something exceptional?"

Yi Rou blinked her sparkling large eyes, her voice soft, "Since His Highness has favored her, why not go with the flow instead of pulling against the wind?"

Disa shook his head and replied, "I have never thought about going against His Highness’s wishes, but the matter of the Saint Queen is no trivial issue. His Highness should not be so rash."

"Is Yeyou, His Highness, your student, someone you would consider rash?" Yi Rou’s voice remained gentle and soft, like a feather dancing in the wind, seemingly powerless, yet able to shift great weights effortlessly.

Disa refused to give in, stubbornly saying, "But I have not seen anything extraordinary about Qin Sisi."

Yi Rou’s lips curled into a smile, lifting her head to gaze at the vast starry sky, and said softly, "In fact, you have already noticed it; you just don’t want to admit it."

Having said that, Yi Rou turned around, using her magic to form a pair of translucent wings on her back, and flew away from Tianfeng Mountain.

Disa stood there for a long time, his expression torn.

The situation in the Demon Sacred Realm was unstable, and the Nine Great Families each harbored their intentions. Even Scholar City, known as the "Pure Land," had already been affected. The Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, as a Holy Land of education, would likely find it hard to remain unaffected by this catastrophe.

Everything seemed calm on the surface, but there were already tumultuous undercurrents. The complex relationships among these students also made Disa’s head throb.

After resting for the night, Qin Sisi had mostly recovered. She got up early, had breakfast with Xiao Meng, and went to Tianlei Mountain.

Following the class on Wind Magic was Thunder Magic, taught by Teacher Wuting, a very strict person, as Teacher Yirou said. His temperament was like thunder, quite explosive.

Class had just begun, and the students had deeply experienced Teacher Wuting’s strictness.

Because a certain young lady from a wealthy family was late.

Ya Ling usually went to bed early, but she had stayed up too late watching the excitement last night and thus hadn’t managed to wake up on time in the morning.

By the time she woke up, it was already time for class. She was so frazzled that she hadn’t even taken the time to eat breakfast before rushing to Tianlei Mountain, but it was already too late.

All her classmates stood perfectly aligned in a row, legs together, arms hanging at their sides, chests out and heads held high, eyes fixed forwards, not one of them glancing at her as she walked in.

And there was Teacher Wuting, with a grim expression on his face, holding a staff, legs apart and shoulder-width, his piercing gaze fixed on the freshmen before him.

Ya Ling’s heart sank, and she tiptoed forward, trembling, to take her place at the edge of the row.

"Step forward!" No sooner had Ya Ling settled into position than Teacher Wuting’s roar startled her nearly to her knees.

She hurriedly stepped forward, looking pitifully towards Teacher Wuting.

"Why are you late?" Teacher Wuting’s voice boomed like a bell, making everyone’s ears ring.

Ya Ling stuttered a timid reply, "I... I overslept."

"Overslept? Childish! Do you think you’re still a four or five-year-old child?" Teacher Wuting wasn’t the least bit appeased and only grew angrier. How could a student of Heaven Academy make such a basic mistake?

Ya Ling had no response, her head hanging low, humiliated in front of the entire class.

Having just witnessed Qin Sisi’s spectacle the night before, she never imagined it would be her turn so soon, and her embarrassment was even greater.

"Leave, and come back in when I say you can," Teacher Wuting dismissed her with those words, paying her no further attention.

Ya Ling could only walk out of the classroom with her head down, feeling the piercing gazes on her back, an agonizingly bitter sensation.

After having the students stand for a full hour, Teacher Wuting finally allowed them to relax before announcing loudly, "Those who have activated their Thunder Attribute, stand to the left; those who have not, stand to the right."

Qin Sisi remained on the right side, as did Wen Xuan, but this time they were joined by two more classmates, Xiao Meng and Chu Ming.

Teacher Wuting gave them a displeased look, internally criticizing the poor quality of this batch of students. How could there be so many who hadn’t activated their attribute? How was he supposed to teach?

Next, Teacher Wuting called Ya Ling back in and, after inquiring, learned that she had activated her Thunder Attribute. His expression softened slightly as he said, "Considering you’re a new student, I’ll save you some face. Complete today’s training task and then stand outside for two hours as punishment. After that, you can leave."

"Stand as punishment? For two hours?" Ya Ling thought she must have misheard. Teacher Wuting had just called her childish—was he certain his punishment wasn’t childish itself?

Teacher Wuting snorted coldly, pointing at the others as he spoke, "They’ve already been standing for an hour. It’s not standing for the sake of standing but to show respect for their teacher and for magic. You, who lack a sense of awe, are just the sort who needs it."

Ya Ling felt utterly humiliated today, stricken again and again to the point of wanting to crash into a wall.

Teacher Wuting paid her no more heed and summoned the other students closer, ready to begin the next phase of the teaching task.
