Chapter 629: Chapter 629: The Choice of the Old Eunuch_1

It has to be said, Ye You’s solution was pretty ingenious and fitting.

Still, Qin Sisi was depressed, "What about his wife? If he gets married, what about his wife? Who would want their husband to be such a disgusting man?"

Ye You’s eyes slightly cooled, he replied, "If he wants to sleep with multiple women, then he probably doesn’t need a wife."

Qin Sisi was taken aback and finally understood Ye You’s plan.

If he wanted to sleep with multiple women, he might not value marriage, so they wouldn’t let him harm others.

However, Qin Sisi decided to give the old eunuch another chance. Would he prefer a wife to accompany him for life, or the physical pleasure of many different women? She would let him choose.

Qin Sisi walked back to the old eunuch and said, "Sir, my Fairy Spirit said that it could fulfill your desires. However, if you possess too many women, you won’t have a formal wife. But, if you don’t want too many women, he can give you a wife who will accompany you forever."

The old eunuch paused slightly, pondered for a moment, then shook his head and said, "Do you know the last emperor? He had two wives. The younger wife divorced him, and the elder wife was driven mad after being with another man. So, to me, having a wife doesn’t seem reliable.

And now you can only have one wife. Trading a bunch of women for one woman doesn’t seem worth it!

So, I would rather sleep with many women. I didn’t touch any women in my previous life. It’s too regretful."

Hearing the old eunuch’s decision, Qin Sisi sighed helplessly. Since that’s the case, she had nothing more to say and decided to do as Ye You had suggested.

The path one chooses, whether it leads to fortune or disaster, must be borne alone.

Qin Sisi solemnly said, "Alright, I agree. In a thousand years, you will be reincarnated, and by then, your wish will naturally be fulfilled."

A satisfied and expectant smile spread across the old eunuch’s wrinkled face. He said in his shrill voice, "That’s great, young lady, let’s not beat around the bush. Take my soul power!"

Once the agreement was reached and the old eunuch consented, Qin Sisi didn’t hesitate to turn to Ye You.

Ye You raised his paw, and the Spirit Conversion Bottle appeared.

As the soul power continued to increase, the glow from the Spirit Conversion Bottle became brighter and brighter, its shimmering light almost rivaling the moon.

The sparkling Spirit Conversion Bottle slowly rotated, summoning the ghosts willing to surrender their soul power.

The old eunuch gradually faded away, becoming a wisp of white smoke that floated into the Spirit Conversion Bottle, completing the delivery of soul power.

Ye You took back the Spirit Conversion Bottle and shared a nod with Qin Sisi.

The Hidden Bubble they used when they first arrived had worn off, but since it was now past midnight, a new Hidden Bubble had formed and was ready to use.

Ye You activated the Hidden Bubble. Qin Sisi, safe and hidden, spread her Wings of Rainbow and flew down the mountain.

The journey back always seemed quicker. Soon, Qin Sisi landed silently in the courtyard of the He family. Her room was as dark and quiet as it was when she left.

Qin Sisi assumed the family was asleep. She retracted her Wings of Rainbow and walked to her room.

As she pushed the door, it creaked open, suddenly illuminating the courtyard.

Qin Sisi turned around in surprise, just in time to see He rushing out of her room. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

Startled, Qin Sisi quickly slipped through the cracked door into her room, and Ye You quickly deactivated the Hidden Bubble.

"Master Qin!" He called out, anxiously.

Qin Sisi calmly stepped out of the room and asked, "Why aren’t you sleeping this late?"

He didn’t answer, he just looked up and down at Qin Sisi. Then he asked, somewhat nervously, "Are you going out or just coming back?"

Qin Sisi paused before replying, "Just came back."

She thought He must have heard the door and came out. Since he already knew her purpose, there was no need to hide anything.

"...Did you finish what you were supposed to do?" a somewhat excited He asked. The feeling of something unknown and mysterious, something one had to believe but couldn’t quite, was complicated.

Qin Sisi glanced at him and nodded, "Yes, it’s done."

He gulped, then asked, "Did you catch that thing?"

Qin Sisi found his questioning odd and asked directly, "What exactly do you want to say?"

He laughed at himself and said, "Nothing really, it’s just that it feels so mysterious, almost unimaginable. It’s like my worldview has been overturned."

Qin Sisi pondered for a moment, then said to He, "This kind of thing is up to you to believe or not. The chances of ordinary people encountering it are very low. Your case was just an accident, so don’t overthink it. Live your life as you normally would. As long as your conscience is clear, you shouldn’t encounter it again."

He was at an age where his worldview was just taking shape. If he were to carry this kind of psychological burden for a long time, it could have damaging effects on his future life.

He was stunned for a moment, then silently nodded.

"It’s late, go to sleep," Qin Sisi said gently, before turning around and walking back into her room, shutting the door behind her.

She wasn’t from their world. It was better not to become too involved. Ordinary people knowing too much about her could lead them to feel lost in life.

The next day, after having breakfast with the He family, Qin Sisi said goodbye and took a public bus back to S City.

He wanted to see her off, but she declined. She hoped to leave them with as few memories of her as possible.

Around noon, the bus arrived in S City. With nothing urgent to attend to, Qin Sisi took a city bus back to her place.

When passing a junction, there was a traffic jam. The bus driver grumbled, "What’s still causing the jam? Isn’t the situation sorted out yet?"

A curious passenger asked for details, the bus driver replied, "See the cosmetic surgery clinic over there? Someone just died there this morning, and the family is causing a scene!"

"How could someone die in a cosmetic surgery clinic?" The passengers asked curiously.

"Supposedly someone died from a breast augmentation surgery. I don’t know the details. Earlier, traffic was stuck here for a long time. There’s no choice but to wait!" the bus driver said helplessly.

With that, the passengers began a discussion about the risks of cosmetic surgery.

Qin Sisi had no interest in plastic surgery. However, hearing that someone had died, she started paying attention.

As the bus slowly passed the cosmetic surgery clinic, Qin Sisi turned to look. The entrance was crowded with cars and people. The atmosphere seemed quite tense, but she couldn’t hear what was being said from the noisy crowd.
