Qin Sisi nodded gravely and said, "Yes. At first, I didn’t believe it either. But he gave me a deposit of two thousand yuan. I think it should be reliable."

"Mm-hmm," Qin Sisi replied and sat by his bedside.
"Got everything taken care of?" Ye You continued, seemingly interested.
Qin Sisi nodded, "All clear, but..."
"What’s up?" Some confusion flashed in Ye You’s eyes. What could possibly go wrong with a simple resignation?
Qin Sisi gave the matter a thought and told Ye You about the dark aura she saw between Yu Ping’s eyebrows. She commented on her confusion, asking why she could see the phenomenon.
Ye You stayed silent for a moment and said, "You mean, you’ve seen this kind of thing before?"
"Yes, " Qin Sisi said, "Once, I was called into her office and she gave me a stern lecture, and I saw it then. But after I blinked, it disappeared. I just thought I’d been hallucinating."
"But you clearly saw it this time?" Ye You pressed on.
"Yes." Qin Sisi confirmed.
Ye You chuckled softly, "Your magic abilities have grown stronger."
Qin Sisi was slightly taken aback, "Really?"
"Of course. When your magic increases to a certain level, you will be able to sense ghosts and see phenomena invisible to the common eye." Ye You explained seriously, sounding lighthearted, bearing a hint of joy. Qin Sisi’s progress was faster than he’d expected.
Qin Sisi felt a bit thrilled, as no one knew and even she was not aware of how much she wished to gain power. With more power, she could help Ye You more, get closer to him, and then even closer.
After a moment of thought, Qin Sisi asked, "Then, what does the shadow stand for?"
Ye You replied, "It means there’s a ghost following her."
Qin Sisi was startled, and she sighed, "If only I knew sooner, I might not have quit my job. I could have gathered more information while I was still at the company."
Ye You chuckled softly and said, "Even if you had stayed, I doubt you’d be able to dig anything out. I think her problems originate in her home."
Qin Sisi scratched her head, "But I don’t even know where she lives."
Ye You playfully rubbed Qin Sisi’s head with his paw, "Don’t worry. After we take care of Xiao Dan’s thing, I’ll have a couple of cats follow her to get to her address."

Ye You shook his head, "Not yet."
Qin Sisi glanced at Da Hua, who was still lying in the corner, and asked in a low voice, "How long do you think it might take?"
Ye You replied, "If that person is still in S City, we should have the news by today. If he has moved elsewhere, it might get complicated."
Worry was obvious in Ye You’s eyes. In the vast world, if that man had left S City, tracking him down would be time-consuming and energy-draining. If this issue was not properly solved, the following steps might be affected, and the collection of ghosts may even come to a halt.
