Chapter 215: Chapter 215: Thrilling Turnaround_1

In desperation, Qin Sisi bit her tongue hard, hoping the pain would help her remain alert.

Under the stimulation of pain, Qin Sisi’s vision did indeed become clearer, and her gaze briefly caught a few pieces of scrap paper in the wastebasket in the corner.

A spark of inspiration emerged in her mind. Ignoring her unfocused state, she channelled her magic power, silently recited a spell, and her hand directed towards the trash can. She shouted, "Fire magic, ignite!"

With a small "puff", the few pieces of waste paper inside the dustbin were set on fire, with red and yellow flames flickering.

Qin Sisi took a step forward and kicked the burning dustbin towards the ghost.

The ghost had initially thought that Qin Sisi didn’t know any spells. Upon seeing her ability to kindle fire from afar, it was startled. It dodged away abruptly, evading the flaming bin and its ghostly song interrupted for a moment.

Qin Sisi seized this opportunity and directed her finger straight towards the ghost, shouting loudly, "Fire magic, ignite!"

Taken by surprise, the ghost despised anything related to fire after spending long in the frigid, damp bathroom, even having a bit of fear for it.

Seeing that Qin Sisi was going to use her fire magic against it, the ghost quickly dodged to the other side.

However, Qin Sisi had merely feigned an attack. Her fire magic could only ignite paper or candles at present, without being strong enough to attack people or ghosts.

The ghost hastily drifted to the other side, but the Divine Dog’s Fury had already been flicked. It could no longer escape, and the dark whip heavily hit its shoulder.

"Ah!" the ghost let out a mournful scream, and a black wound on its shoulder began to release black smoke.

Under great shock, the ghost hurriedly released its spiritual power to heal itself.

However, Qin Sisi’s attack had been intensely powerful, and the injury was severe.

The ghost struggled in chaos, unable to heal its wounds, and finally decided to dismember its arm to survive.

A pale arm as delicate as lotus root fell to the damp floor of the bathroom. Black smoke was continually penetrating through the wound, and within a moment, the entire arm had turned into black dust.

The ghost’s hypnotic singing had long stopped, and Qin Sisi’s mind and vision were both clear. Looking sternly at the ghost, she asked coldly, "Want to keep fighting?"

The ghost bit its lip in anger. Although it was aware that the Divine Dog’s Fury was an exorcism weapon, it didn’t expect it to be so powerful. Looking at the arm that had turned into dust, it hesitated at its place, too scared to attack Qin Sisi again for fear of being struck by the dark whip.

Having advantageously attacked, Qin Sisi didn’t plan to further strike. Any ghost is a possibility for collecting soul power.

She couldn’t accurately control the Divine Dog’s Fury. If she happened to hit a vital point, the ghost would be fully dissipated.

During the standoff between the ghost and the girl, the door was kicked open suddenly, and a worried Ning Hao rushed in from outside.

After assessing the situation in the bathroom, Ning Hao saw that Qin Sisi had the upper hand so he didn’t participate in the struggle. Instead, he picked up Ning Yue, who was lying on the ground, calling out anxiously.

Ye You released a breath of relief. The Primordial Spirit Pill, which was held tightly in his paw and yet to be sent into his mouth, was taken back into his Portable Space.

Qin Sisi had swiftly reversed the situations with a clever plan. Although Ye You was heartened to see this, he was also deeply worried about her danger earlier.

Now that Ning Yue has been rescued, the next step is to capture this ghost.

After this short break, Ye You’s spiritual power had slightly recovered. He might not be able to use magic power to condense wings or a silver sphere, but he could still subdue a ghost.

For Ye You, placing this ghost into his Portable Space was easy. But, even though she was severely injured, her spiritual power remained. Combined with her stubborn attitude, forcing her into the inside of the soul storage bottle in the Portable Space without struggling might not be possible.

Ye You cherished tranquility, but if his Portable Space wasn’t peaceful, it would inevitably disturb him.

Given the ghost’s earlier attack on Qin Sisi, and these considerations, a glint of coldness flicked through Ye You’s eyes. With a lift of his paw, a golden rope rushed out.

The ghost sensed the potential danger and hastily moved aside. However, the shining golden rope followed it, as if it had eyes.

The ghost was naturally unable to evade the golden rope, and within a few seconds, it was firmly tied up.

The ghost’s eyes widened in rage, shouting, "Let go of me, you meddling bastards. Wait until my brother Hei Shan comes, none of you will escape!"

Qin Sisi raised her eyebrows slightly, immediately asking, "Brother Hei Shan? What is Brother Hei Shan?"

The struggling ghost shouted, "Hei Shan taught me all my abilities. He’s really powerful. I advise you to let me go, otherwise, you’ll regret it!"

The ghost kept shouting and screaming. Annoyed, Ye You mentally commanded the golden rope to tighten under his magic control, causing the ghost to wail in even more pain.

A touch of impatience flashed through Ye You’s purple eyes. With a casual wave of his paw, a silver light shone towards the ghost’s head.

Hit by magic, the ghost fell to the ground, unconscious, and stopped struggling.

Ye You leaped in front of it, and with another flick of his paw, he pulled the unconscious ghost into his Portable Space.

Seeing Ye You taking action, Qin Sisi quickly asked, "Xiao Hei, are you okay?"

Ye You turned to Qin Sisi, sighed, and said, "I should be asking you that."

It was she who had been fighting the ghost and she who was endangered. Yet, she asked about his wellbeing.

Under Ye You’s intense gaze, Qin Sisi dropped her eyes, slightly abashed, gently biting her lip.

Ye You turned back to look at Ning Hao and said, "We shouldn’t stay here too long, let’s leave."

His spiritual power had been depleted excessively. Qin Sisi would be exhausted from the recent battle, and Ning Hao was an ordinary man. If the so-called powerful Brother Hei Shan truly appeared, it could probably start another fierce battle.

Ning Yue had already been saved. Departing first would allow for dealing with the next step later.

Qin Sisi and Ning Hao both nodded. Ning Hao lifted Ning Yue, who was as light as a ghost, without exerting any effort.

Just as they prepared to take the elevator down, footsteps suddenly resounded in the corridor.

Ning Hao turned fearful, saying, "Could it be that Brother Hei Shan is here?"

Ye You’s eyes flickered momentarily, and he shook his head.

After a brief thought, Qin Sisi also said, "Ghosts wouldn’t make footstep sounds, it’s not a ghost, but a person."
