Chapter 1410: Chapter 1410: Puppet Snowmen

Getting no response, Qin Sisi and Ye You were filled with doubts.

Ye You looked around, wanting to pick up a stone to throw over and take a look, but there was snow everywhere, not a shadow of a stone in sight.

So Ye You bent down and grabbed a handful of snow, forming it into a snowball, and gently tossed it forward, hitting the back of a white figure.

A few pieces of snow fell from the back of the white figure, but it remained motionlessly standing there, as if completely unaware of Ye You’s disturbance.

Ye You frowned, bent down again, grabbed a handful of snow, formed it into a snowball, released a bit of magic power, and forcefully hurled it towards one of the white figures.

Driven by magic power, the snowball flew with great force and ended up hitting the arm of a white figure, surprisingly breaking it off.

Qin Sisi was shocked, and Ye You felt incredulous, although he used some magic power, it was only a small amount, not enough to break someone’s arm.

When they saw the broken arm fall to the snowy ground, they were even more astonished. Qin Sisi couldn’t help but exclaim softly, "That... that’s not a human arm!"

There was no blood coming from the broken arm, whether red or green, and from the fallen half of the arm, it was clear that the "arm" was full of pure white snow, without a trace of flesh or blood.

It turned out, this row of neatly arranged guardians was all snowmen.

Qin Sisi and Ye You exchanged a surprised glance, both extremely puzzled as to who would build so many snowmen and arrange them in such neat order here.

Did this seemingly endless row of snowmen conceal some secret?

They couldn’t figure it out, so they could only continue forward according to plan, wanting to keep going north; they had to pass through the gaps between these snowmen.

Ye You gently carried Qin Sisi closer to the row of snowmen, sensing that something was amiss with them. As he approached, he bent his knees, lightly tapped the snow with his toes, releasing some wind attribute magic power, and skillfully leapt over the snowmen’s heads, landing in the snow more than ten meters away.

However, as soon as he landed, the corner of his eye caught two flashes of white light sweeping past on either side of him.

Ye You’s heart sank as he looked up ahead, Qin Sisi also peering out from Ye You’s clothes.

Just a few meters ahead stood two tall, slightly chubby snowmen, entirely made of nothing but white snow, exactly like two from the previously neatly arranged row.

Then there was also movement behind them; Ye You turned to see two white snowmen standing there too.

Now, they were surrounded by four snowmen.

Ye You scanned them with his divine sense, surprisingly discovering that the magic power of these snowmen was actually Level Eight, equivalent to that of a human Demon Lord.

It’s worth knowing, Ye You was currently only an Intermediate Magic Lord.

However, the silver light emanating from the snowmen was rather thin, likely only equivalent to a Low-level Magic Lord.

But this was enough to make Ye You cautious.

One Low-level Magic Lord couldn’t defeat an Intermediate Magic Lord, but the chance of an Intermediate Magic Lord defeating four Low-level Magic Lords wasn’t high either.

It’s hard for two fists to defend against four hands, especially when the difference in strength wasn’t significant.

Before Ye You could think of a countermeasure, the four snowmen began attacking. This was the first time Qin Sisi and Ye You had seen attack skills resembling a dance.

The four snowmen waved their hands and feet, their arms constantly swaying forward, and their legs alternately kicked forward, their plump bodies swinging from side to side, showing a bit of an adorably clumsy appearance.

But the effect of the snowmen’s dance quickly made Qin Sisi and Ye You realize the terror behind the cuteness. With the snowmen’s movements, waves of biting cold ice spirit power surged towards them from four directions, threatening to freeze them into blocks of ice.

They hastily gathered fire attribute magic power to circulate within their bodies to maintain warmth.

To escape the encirclement, they couldn’t just defend without attacking. Ye You gritted his teeth and, using almost all of his fire attribute magic power, executed a Blaze Prairie Fire move.

Purple flames rose from the snow, turning a small area around Ye You into a sea of fire.

If the power gap between them were larger, this move by Ye You could burn all creatures in this area to ashes.

But in the still extremely cold Extreme North Ice Field, the power of fire magic was somewhat restrained, and the snow here was colder than ordinary snow, much harder to melt.

Blaze Prairie Fire melted some of the snow cover on the ground but didn’t expose the earth or stones, and the bodies of the four snowmen shrank under the scorching of the purple flames.

The four snowmen noticed the situation wasn’t favorable and immediately stopped attacking, lying on the snow and rolling around, resembling four capricious pandas.

When they stood up again, the snow on the ground was less, and the four snowmen’s bodies had already returned to their original size.

"What exactly are these things?" Qin Sisi was both puzzled and nervous. These snowmen were neither human nor demonic beasts, fleshless and bloodless, able to recover their bodies using the surrounding snow even if damaged. It was bewilderingly unbeatable!

Ye You pondered for a moment and quietly said, "These snowmen are golems, infused with ice attribute magic force."

"Golems?" Qin Sisi softly repeated, realizing that the line of snowmen was indeed specially crafted and deliberately placed there.

The four restored snowmen again encircled Ye You, performing that strange dance, waves of bone-chilling ice spirit power surged towards Ye You and Qin Sisi.

Ye You took out a Spirit Revitalizing Pill from his portable space and consumed it, then once again used the Blaze Prairie Fire magic skill, melting some of the snow and shrinking the snowmen’s bodies again.

Just as Ye You anticipated, the four diminished snowmen like before fell to the ground rolling, absorbing the snow on the ground to restore their bodies.

Seizing the snowmen’s rolling time, Ye You swiftly took Qin Sisi and broke out of the encirclement.

Walking was too slow, and the environment here wasn’t suitable for flying; the wind speed at high altitude was too great, a slight mishap could blow them in another direction.

Ye You condensed half of his magic wings, choosing to half fly and half jump, leaping up, then landing, then leaping again. This was safer and quite fast.

The four snowmen quickly restored their bodies and chased after Ye You immediately.

Their snow-made bodies slid smoothly over the snow, rushing forward at a speed surprisingly faster than Ye You.

The four snowmen, while pursuing, waved their arms to release ice spirit power, attacking Ye You with a relentless determination that wouldn’t stop until achieving its goal.
