Chapter 758: Chapter 597 Don’t Need a Charger!_2

Yes! That’s exactly the feeling!

Long Yi continued his trials, steadily keeping more of the Stone Power within him. Finally, the Stone Power inside him reached near saturation! He felt that his strength was now no different from when he stood on the ground!

At this point, when Long Yi set foot on the ground again, the Stone Power that entered his body was almost twice the power within him. This doubled Stone Power seemed intent on attracting the Stone Power stored inside Long Yi with an even stronger force. This meant, as long as Long Yi didn’t use the Stone Power within himself, he could endlessly use the doubled Stone Power drawn from the earth!

I found a way to double my strength so easily, I must really be a genius!

After indulging in some sharp self-praise, Long Yi spent two weeks perfecting his power structure. As for his combat skills, which were already far ahead of anyone in this world, he revisited them casually.

Of course, Long Yi had his concerns.

Long Yi’s biggest problem right now was his unfamiliarity with some of the magic in this world. Although the Mountain Giants preferred to solve problems with their fists, Long Yi still vaguely remembered the skill that Stone Fist used to kill the slave trader. Without a deep understanding of all the skills systems of the Mountain Giants, Long Yi could not be sure he wasn’t vulnerable to these techniques.

However, Long Yi didn’t go to ask Stone Fist.

It’s better to speak less when you’re away from home. You never know whose ears Stone Fist’s words might fall upon, and they might turn against you in a competition.

In a blink of an eye, it was the day of the competition.

Although it’s a sizable tribe, since everyone is from the same tribe, almost everyone appeared jovial. After all, there aren’t opportunities for everyone to acquire the Sacred Rock. As they are all from the same tribe, they generally have a good understanding of their own strength. Some know they stand no chance; they are just there for fun. However, a few were extremely nervous. They were the cream of the crop among the tribe’s children, nearly all of whom had the strength to seize the Sacred Rock. However, there were only three Sacred Rocks, so it was inevitable that they felt nervous. After all, absorbing the power of the Sacred Rock could almost double their strength!

Three days ago, Stone Fist finally acquired his Rock Armor. For three days and nights, Old Stone Fist, his father, imparted all of his knowledge to Stone Fist. Poor Stone Fist hardly slept a wink during these days. Of course, his progress was evident.

As for Long Yi’s participation in the competition, it did not seem to stir up much reaction amongst the Black Rock Tribe. In fact, even after a month with the tribe, Long Yi’s presence did not seem to elicit much interest. It was as if having one more or one less person made no difference.

And so, the competition began.

Pick an opponent, fight. The loser withdraws voluntarily, the winner continues to find someone else to fight, until there are only three people left.

This was Long Yi’s first time participating in a competition with such rules. It felt like child’s play, but clearly, the Mountain Giants of the Black Rock Tribe were used to it, and no one expressed any dissatisfaction. Most importantly, no one cheated.

Long Yi’s first opponent was a female Mountain Giant. Due to the characteristics of the Mountain Giants, they were all incredibly strong, regardless of gender, resulting in female Mountain Giants who bore no curves and were as robust as men. Long Yi did not hold back, he threw a punch and his counterpart immediately conceded. For every opponent that left, a new one challenged him - one punch per opponent. These seemingly larger-than-life ’children’ had a good sense of self-awareness, they didn’t try to prolong the inevitable and could feel the gap in strength after one punch. They would then dutifully retreat from the fight and cheer on those they knew.

Because of this, although the competition started with many participants, the number quickly dwindled. The strength of the opponents that Long Yi had to face was also continuously increasing. What began as knocking out an opponent in one punch now took a couple of back-and-forths to decide the victor.

Suddenly, someone stood before Long Yi.

Long Yi looked up and, to his surprise, it was Stone Fist.

"I told you to keep your distance, brother. But here you are, squarely in my path. That’s quite a predicament for me," Long Yi said with a wry smile.

"What’s tough about this? Just give it all you got!" Stone Fist said nonchalantly and charged directly at him.

Long Yi sighed, raised his fist, and swung it towards him.

The attack methods of the Mountain Giants are astoundingly similar. They first use pure strength to decide the outcome of the fight, whether by brute force or by Stone Power. Only when they realize that they are evenly matched do they resort to skill.

"Of course, the fighting techniques were nothing to brag about.

Long Yi quickly gained the upper hand. Stone Fist was no match for Long Yi, but he clearly didn’t plan to give up so easily. He roared loudly, calling forth his Rock Armor and charged at Long Yi, who didn’t summon his own armor. Instead, Long Yi gathered double the power of the rocks and directly threw a punch. With a loud rumble, Stone Fist was thrown backwards, the Rock Armor on his fist revealing cracks!

"Damn! You’re really going all out, kid!"

As Stone Fist spoke, he dismissed his Rock Armor. Clearly, he recognized the gap between their abilities—Long Yi was just too strong!

The power displayed in that punch surprised Old Stone Fist, who was watching from the sidelines. He always knew that Long Yi was up to something, but he didn’t expect him to crack Stone Fist’s Rock Armor with his bare hands. This was a testament of Long Yi’s strength.

Long Yi summoned a Crystal Stone Armor. Old Stone Fist has never heard of such an armor before.

Being an Elder of the Black Rock Tribe, Old Stone Fist was pleased to see such a formidable warrior appear in his tribe. Although the warrior might not belong to his tribe, he must remember the hospitality he received at the Black Rock Tribe after regaining his memory. Perhaps he will reward them generously in the future.

After defeating Stone Fist, a few others came to challenge him, but Long Yi defeated them all without any surprises. However, a problem arose.

Counting Long Yi, there were still four people left.

But there were only three Sacred Rocks.

In other words, two out of the four people had to fight to decide a winner!

Everyone was hesitant to make a move, knowing that they would almost certainly win a Sacred Rock if they avoided fighting.

However, rules were rules.

Therefore, as the one who joined halfway, Long Yi stepped forward. Smiling, he approached one of the men.

"Come on, brother, let’s finish the fight we didn’t finish that day!"

The man across from him was none other than Hua Gang!

Being one of the top three in such a chaotic battle demonstrated Hua Gang’s strength. Long Yi had to pick an opponent, and since the other two had no quarrel with him, only Hua Gang was left.

"Alright!"

Without wasting any words, Hua Gang clenched his fists and walked over with heavy steps.

Long Yi noticed that Hua Gang’s feet landed faster than they lifted. Clearly his strength was genuine. As Mountain Giants gained more power, the energy from the rocks beneath them created a gravitational pull, making it difficult for them to lift their legs and speeding up their descent, making it harder for them to leave the ground. Although Long Yi was feeling a bit of this due to his double Rock Power, it was not as obvious as Hua Gang’s.

Once both of them reached striking range, they stood still. Neither of them wasted their breath, they both raised their fists and struck at the same time!

Boom!

Their fists collided heavily, and both Long Yi and Hua Gang were pushed back three steps!

"You’re weaker than I thought," said Long Yi as he shook his hand, grinning.(To be continued. If you like this novel, feel free to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets at qidian.com. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users can read at m.qidian.com.)
