Shafts of light were already pelting down, followed by exploding missiles engulfed in flame. The double-headed dragons, still in dreaming sleep, didn’t know the enemy attack had come.
The explosion’s roar mixed with the angry bellows of the Dragon Clan, caught off guard in their most vulnerable moment. Molten iron swept over, Fighting Aura slashed down, Mental Impact surged continuously as various spells flew across.
The entire battle lasted less than half an hour before Long Yi and the others immediately left. The battle began abruptly, and ended just as suddenly, with nary a sign. But since it was a surprise attack, the double-headed black dragon side suffered severe losses, whilst the White Dragon and Red Dragon side experienced minor injuries.
As Long Yi and the others left, Gulelie did not order a pursuit because he didn’t know if Long Yi had any tricks up his sleeve. After all, according to Long Yi’s consistent behavior, pursuing him certainly wouldn’t do any good.
Upon returning to base after, each Dragon Rider exhibited an overjoyed visage. Feedback from Wesley suggested this surprise attack had greatly benefitted the White Dragon and Red Dragon coalition.
Seeing these numbers, Long Yi finally felt even.
"I am the one who bullies others! Want to take advantage of me? Not a chance!"
Long Yi ordered everyone to rest and stay on alert at all times. The double-headed black dragons they just attacked are estimated to retort soon.
As guessed by Long Yi, the double-headed black dragons, fuming with anger, did charge back.
But what greeted the double-headed black dragons were the warriors who’d won a battle and were spirits greatly uplifted.
Apart from, an opponent the double-headed black dragons couldn’t have even dreamed of.
