Chapter 313: Chapter 221: A Mouth?

"Master!"

Little Zi screamed and turned to rush into the dragon breath, but the rolling dragon breath carried a terrifying dragon power, which had destructive power to Little Zi who was a pure energy body!

"Bastard! I’ll kill you!"

This time, Little Zi who had never been angry was truly furious. The little female demon screamed, issuing a huge mental impact, causing even the Dragon Clan to feel dizzy, and the dragon breath stopped. Seeing Little Zi rush towards him, the Black Dragon scornfully swatted her away, but Little Zi passed through his claw, rushing straight towards his head!

"Roar!" The Black Dragon realized that this was a little female demon. If she got into his head, even a mighty giant dragon would have a great deal of trouble!

Roar!

Black Dragon released a terrifying dragon breath from its mouth, turned into a rolling cloud, and completely enveloped the surroundings. Accidentally brushing against the cloud, a piece of Little Zi’s dress was forcibly corroded away.

"Little Zi, come back! I haven’t died yet!"

From the corroded and battered room below, Long Yi’s voice reached them once again.

"Brother Long!"

Little Zi flew down with joy, but saw Long Yi on the floor, only a mouth left of him.

"Ah! How terrifying!"

The female demon screamed.

"I’m only left with a mouth! I’m even more terrified! Quickly pick up my mouth!"

The mouth on the ground said.

Little Zi didn’t concern herself with more and quickly picked up the mouth.

The Black Dragon in the sky, upon hearing Long Yi’s voice and realizing that he didn’t die, became even more furious. He roared and rushed towards Little Zi.

Almost simultaneously, dragon roars from around them resounded.

The five Dragon Knights stationed in the Academy City and their Mount Dragons arrived instantly.

Although in terms of size and strength, these Dragon Knights were weaker compared to the Black Dragon, the five dragons still tightly encircled the Black Dragon. However, the furious Black Dragon completely ignored the pressure of the surrounding Dragon Knights, leaving chilling traces on the bodies of their Mount Dragons with his dragon breath and sharp teeth.

At this moment, a loud dragon roar came from the distant horizon, and a beam of white light appeared all of a sudden!

Boom!

The dazzling white light penetrated the scales of the Black Dragon, leaving a clear burn mark on its body! Then, a giant White Dragon appeared in a blink of an eye!

"Dean, you’re finally here."

Long Yi’s mouth said.

"Brother Long, don’t talk anymore, in this state, you’re giving me goosebumps." Little Zi said, holding Long Yi’s mouth.

"I’m the one having goosebumps! I don’t even know what happened! Does this world not adhere to basic physics at all! I don’t even have lungs, how am I able to speak! How am I able to see anything!"

Long Yi’s mouth raged.

"Of course, you’re using water elements to vibrate the moisture in the air to make a sound."

A pleasing voice, like flowing water, sounded from beside Little Zi. Little Zi dodged quickly only to see a transparent girl standing beside her.

"Water Spirits?"

Long Yi’s mouth inquired.

"Hello, Long Yi! We meet again! I just happened to be visiting here recently, so I thought I’d come to see you. I didn’t expect to encounter such an interesting turn of events." The Water Spirits said.

"Ah, it’s you!" Long Yi’s mouth exclaimed.

"Yes, yes, it’s me. I saw that you were busy, so I didn’t disturb you, but you seemed very dangerous just now, so I decided to help you. But don’t worry, there’s no need for any exchange this time." The Water Spirits said.

"Sister, the help you’re providing is really strange." Long Yi’s mouth curled in a weird shape.

"Not strange at all, I just broke down all the elements in your body and stored them in the water. I even left you a mouth so you can speak, so, am I smart?" The Water Spirits proudly stated.

"Smart, absolutely smart!" Long Yi’s mouth sincerely said, it was undeniable that she was smart to be able to save a life at such a time.

"Well, since you’re fine, I’ll give your body back to you."

While saying this, the Water Spirits took out a clump of water from her chest and snatched Long Yi’s mouth from Little Zi’s hand and threw it into the water. In the blink of an eye, the mouth grew into the form of Long Yi, his destroyed arm regenerated, and the excruciating pain in his chest also completely disappeared.

"Alright, next time you play, don’t do it so recklessly. Even if you’re a Giant, you’ll die if you push yourself like this. As the eldest child of God, if you die, all the elements will grieve."

The water spirit earnestly said.

"You know I’m a Giant?" Long Yi asked.

"Of course I know, I’ve always known, all of the elements know." the Water spirit stated matter-of-factly.

"So, do you know about that war?"

"I do."

"Do you know how many Giants were killed or injured?"

"Giants? Killed or injured?" The water spirit suddenly laughed, "Are you joking, young Giant? During the previous war, the Giants just left, how could they possibly be harmed? It’s absolutely impossible for the Dragons’ pitiful attacks to harm a Giant - well okay, I admit, you’re an exception, haha."

No casualties or injuries, really?

A baffled Long Yi stood there naked.

The first time Long Yi saw the so-called ancient legacy, the tragic words inscribed there led him to believe that the ancient war between the Giants and the Dragon Clan was extremely fierce, and that countless Giants must have died or been injured. However, the water spirit told Long Yi that there were no casualties or injuries among the Giants at all.

"We elemental beings actually owe our existence to the Giants. Their ceaseless, seemingly nonsensical experiments led directly to the emergence of the progenitor elements. After a series of evolution, we finally acquired sufficient wisdom. However, although we consider ourselves living beings, we do not think that we are the same as you complex elemental beings... so we maintain a certain innocence and independence. Back then, the Dragon Clan’s attack on the Giants was very sudden, and all life across the various planes and planets were startled. Some joined the Dragon Clan, hoping to share in the plunder, while others assisted the Giants in resisting the enemies. To be honest, though the Dragon Clan came on strong, the Giants, taken by surprise initially, suffered no significant loss. As for material losses, those are certainly trivial to the Giants. In fact, considering the temperament of the Giants, we guess they didn’t even bother getting angry at the Dragon Clan."

The water spirit said.

According to what the water spirit said, it seems that that incident was completely insignificant to the Giants.

Then, what does it mean for me, as a Giant, to appear in this world? Am I not the last avenger of the Giants? Could it be, that I’m just some unlucky fool who accidentally fell into a space-time rift and fell into the human realm?

Am I just a supporting character in this world? Is there another protagonist who is going to traverse here, waiting to receive all the treasures that I have collected?

Could it be that unlucky?

Wait, there must be a reason for me appearing here, otherwise, why would I, a Giant, turn into a human?

While Long Yi was lost in thought, in the sky above, the white and black Giant Dragons were already locked in battle.

The five Dragon Riders, unable to intervene, had no choice but to form a distant encirclement to prevent the Black Dragon from escaping.

On one side was the Black Dragon who was furious because it had lost its Dragon Rider, and on the other, an old White Dragon enraged because his academy had been invaded. When these two dragons tangled together, the outcome was that the buildings around them were damaged.

Luckily this was the library district, without student dormitories around, just academic buildings. Moreover, due to the recent struggle between the two princes, students were too distracted to study, so fortunately, there were no casualties.

The Black Dragon was hot-tempered, young and vigorous, and having just lost its dragon rider, it was eager to kill all enemies in front of it and avenge its rider. While the White Dragon, being an old dragon, its scales gradually losing their luster, meaning that its defense and physical strength had both declined, but it excelled in experience.

For a while, there was no clear winner between the two dragons.

To be honest, confrontations between dragons have no entertainment value. Once they enter a phase of clawing and biting each other, other than Dragon Breath, they are basically no different from wild animals.

"I’m going to help!"

Little Zi was ready to join in.

"No need, help is on the way." said Long Yi.

Sure enough, another wave of Dragon Might rushed in from the horizon. As it got close, it was the Black Dragon Tyl.

As soon as this old black dragon landed, it joined the fray. Two crafty old dragons against an impulsive young dragon - the battle’s outcome was determined after just a few minutes.

The neck of Dasaide’s Black Dragon was bitten off by the White Dragon, while the White Dragon had also sustained significant injuries. As for the Black Dragon Tyl, it was unscathed.

Of course, for Dragons, injuries of this severity aren’t really anything.

The massive body of the Black Dragon fell, and the Dean in his Gandalf-like form and Tyl both transformed into human forms.

It was apparent that after a great battle, the Dean showed signs of exhaustion, after all, he too could hear the call of the Dragon Tomb. Tyl, on the other hand, was solemnly looking at the massive Black Dragon body on the ground, occasionally glancing at Long Yi as if he had something to ask. But several times his gaze swept past the water spirit, and he didn’t speak.

Off in the distance, the second prince finally appeared.

But he was alone, without anyone to help, and even his mount Dragon was nowhere to be found.

"Ha – ha – Long Yi – You – ha – alright –" Judging from the expression on Second Prince Kirei, he looked like he was about to die.

"I’m fine, you should rest a while now." Long Yi, now in a new set of clothes, said.

As it turns out, Kirei had first run to find the Dean. But the Dean was not there, so he went to find the Seventh Graders for help, but mysteriously, none of the Seventh Graders were there either. He didn’t dare to alert anyone else, and this damned academy didn’t even have a single guard around. In the end, with no other options, the Second Prince could only run back by himself. Halfway through his journey though, he saw a white beam of light shooting towards him, and he knew that at least one powerful White Dragon had arrived.

"So, what’s the outcome?" the Second Prince, pale from the intense activity, asked Long Yi, who seemed to have turned a bit whiter. He had already spotted Dean and Tyl, as well as the Black Dragon’s body on the ground. Victory was within sight, and all he wanted to know was the price they had to pay.

"That old bastard got butchered by me, and his body was melted by his own Dragon’s breath. His Dragon was killed by the Dean and Tyl. Some surrounding buildings were destroyed, but the library didn’t suffer much. That’s all there is to it." (To be continued.
