Chapter 244: Chapter 171: King of Trash Talk

The sixth grade leader naturally noticed that Long Yi did not shout hooray, which in itself had irked him. Moreover, he found it baffling why the dean would send Long Yi. However, the rumor was that Long Yi was a person who could set off a war wherever he went, so he was curious to see what extent Long Yi could reach today.

Originally, Jack Blake saw Long Yi standing a head taller than him, clutching books, possibly a nerd, but unexpectedly, this guy’s verbal skills were not weak!

"You’re quick with your words, but you couldn’t even holler hooray just now, what a waste of your big head." Jack Blake sneered, not continuing on the previous topic.

"Of course, my words are quick, if shouting a hooray could kill one of you, I guarantee you all would be dead within two seconds," Long Yi said with a smile.

At these words, Jack Blake also burst into laughter, "Hahaha, you’re quite an interesting kid! You seem to be a mage, but now you’re so close to me, I’m very curious, how do you plan to ’kill me verbally’?"

"That’s simple. I stand still, you punch me, and I guarantee none of your gang will be able to leave here alive," Long Yi said.

"Heh! You plan to trade your life for mine? What a wonderful thought!" Jack Blake glanced at the thirty people beside him who were eager to start a fight. Once he takes action, these people will probably seize the opportunity to rush forward, there may even be ambushes around!

Long Yi, however, disdainfully curled his lip, saying, "Exchange? Where’s your self-confidence coming from? Look at your pitiful physique, fists not even as big as a walnut. Even if I let you punch me without moving, it would still tire you out. Tsk, tsk, what are the kids in the Black Dragon Empire thinking? Can’t you estimate the strength of both sides in your head? There are over thirty people standing here, and I’m so powerful, yet you’ve come specifically to trouble me. You’re simply asking for death."

As Long Yi started his braggadocious speech, Ai Lin behind him laughed out loud. Ai Lin loves Long Yi’s verbal tricks the most, leaving no room for either party to retreat. The person taken care of by Long Yi could only resort to fighting. And clearly, Long Yi always aimed for this.

"What, is there someone sneaking around, afraid of being seen? Planning for a surprise attack?" Jack Blake finally noticed someone hiding behind Long Yi’s tall figure.

"Who is sneaking around? Can’t I simply be short?" Ai Lin came out discontentedly, standing next to Long Yi.

Then, Jack Blake’s eyes widened instantly.

Her silver hair was tied into a single ponytail, her little face exuding anger, and the same silver eyes glared at him fiercely. The silver bodysuit perfectly sculpted her increasingly mature figure, while the small dragon wings on her back aptly enhanced the girl’s cuteness. High-heeled knight boots accentuated her figure, making her curves more flawless.

Wait, the armguards on her arms, could they be crystal armaments? Those are huge crystal cores! At least ninth tier, right?

This girl is a masterpiece!

Jack Blake could practically drool.

"Did you get blinded by the glare?" Long Yi suddenly taunted, pulling Ai Lin behind him.

Ai Lin, though not afraid to be seen, found her heart sweetened by Long Yi’s action.

Despite Ai Lin’s silver outfit being quite dazzling under the sunlight, like a halo around the girl, it was not blinding.

Jack Blake evidently heard the mockery in Long Yi’s tone. He scoffed, saying, "A foolish large mage, and a pretty girl, your White Dragon Empire’s Dragon Knights really are intriguing."

Even though Jack Blake wanted to target Ai Lin, as a nobleman, it’s not appropriate to speak ill of a girl. Nevertheless, customary mockery was inevitable.

"The ’foolish large mage’ in your mouth, of course, can pique your interest. As a mage, you have no chance of winning without using mana. But you’re right about one thing in your nonsense, this girl is indeed beautiful," Long Yi said.

Long Yi’s words didn’t yield any ground, Jack Blake tried to rebut fiercely several times, but Long Yi maintained his consistently superior taunting tone all the while, continuously pressuring Jack Blake!

Damn it!

Jack Blake began to feel anxious, regretting picking the wrong person to challenge. The strength of two tiers is quite strong, but compared to the ability to retort, there’s a significant gap.

Long Yi, of course, saw the other party’s predicament.

Great! Now’s the time!

Long Yi absent-mindedly yawned, saying, "I heard you guys are here to deliver invitations? Now that you’re here, don’t be in such a hurry to leave. Stay in Academy City for a few more days. Our sixth-grade seniors are very hospitable. They will accompany you day and night in Academy City to ensure you eat well, live well, and have a good time. Moreover, I heard they prepared some local products of our White Dragon Empire to take back so that your Emperor can see what the high life is like."

As he spoke, Long Yi turned around and made a gesture as if to leave. He whispered to Ai Lin, "Forget it, let’s go. There’s nothing fun here anymore. Alas, I ran all the way from the fourth grade to broaden my horizons, only to find out that the Dragon Knights of the Black Dragon Empire talked about in legends are just this mediocre. A bunch of cowards."

Cowards.

This word made the sixth-grade leader chuckle, in such a situation, directly cursing is basically considered a low-class act, especially when both parties are tacitly keeping constrain.

But Long Yi was not originally part of the reception members. No one knew why Long Yi would appear here, but since he came and spoke, then what? What can you of the Black Dragon Empire do to us of the White Dragon Empire?

Cowards!

Long Yi’s voice wasn’t loud, but he didn’t deliberately keep it down either, it fell into the ears of everyone present, especially the folks from the Black Dragon Empire. Jack Blake nearly went insane, a group of people came with pent-up frustration but had nowhere to vent, and now they were being insulted to their faces. Who could swallow this humiliation!

"Bastard! Are you daring enough to accept my - Jack Blake from the Black Dragon Empire - challenge!"

Finally, Jack Blake spoke up.

Long Yi, who had already turned away, immediately perked up at this. But once he turned back, he found himself in a rather awkward predicament.

"Seniors, do you think this is okay?" Long Yi turned and asked the Grade Six leader.

"After all, it’s just a friendly spar among students. Be careful not to hurt him, should be alright." The Grade Six leader spoke delicately. After all, he was the one originally supposed to be having this showdown. He was the best orator among the Grade Six students. Yet, Long Yi somehow weaseled his way into this role. Still, things seemed to be going alright.

"Wait! Elder brother! Let me handle this idiot!" One from the crowd behind Jack Blake stepped forward to stop him. This man was tall, muscular, and decidedly dark-skinned, even radiating a metallic luster. His bald head shimmered under the morning sunlight, although a few scars marred its beauty.

"Oh my god, you must be so smart!" Long Yi suddenly exclaimed in surprise.

"What?" The man didn’t understand why he was suddenly complimented.

"Clever minds never grow hair, just like traffic-free roads where no grass thrives." Long Yi recited a limerick. Ai Lin couldn’t contain her laughter this time. Even some of the seniors from White Dragon Empire smirked at this.

"Bastard! I’m Iron Fist Luo Yi from the Sixth Grade of Black Dragon Empire’s Dragon Knight Academy! If I don’t beat you into begging for mercy, I’ll chop off my fists!"

"Well, I have a question," Long Yi said seriously.

"Spit it out!" Luo Yi appeared to have a bad temper and was greatly provoked by Long Yi’s taunts.

"My question is, after you chop off your left hand with your right hand, where do you find another hand to chop off your right hand?"

When Long Yi’s question finished, Luo Yi’s face turned as black as ink. How could he possibly answer this? It was pure ridicule!

"Senior, do you know the solution?" Honest man Long Yi sincerely asked the Grade Six senior close to him.

"Bite the knife with his teeth?" The senior, barely containing his laughter, earnestly replied.

"That wouldn’t work, right? What about you, do you know?" Long Yi turned to another person.

"My guess is to place the blade upward on the ground and then slam your fists down on it!" The second person outright laughed out loud.

"Wow! As expected of our seniors, the pillars of our empire, immediately finding a solution!" Long Yi exclaimed excitedly.

"Haha, you are still young. As long as you keep learning, you will definitely become as brilliant as us seniors!" That senior unabashedly started to play along with Long Yi’s act.

Over here, the people from Black Dragon Empire... their eyes became bloodshot. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

From anger.

Anger running rampant, their Fighting Aura intermittently visible. Feeling the threatening aura, the people from White Dragon Empire also stowed away their previous merriment. For a moment, a flux of Fighting Aura from both the sides was stirring the air into a chaotic flow.

Twenty people from the Black Dragon Empire all possessed the strength of at least one Dragon Mark. Despite outnumbering them, there were only fifteen from the White Dragon Empire who were similarly matched. The two sides, although unequal in numbers, were roughly evenly matched. However, because some talents on their side were lacking, under the pressure of those with a single Dragon Mark, they started to show signs of weakening. Gradually, the momentum from the Black Dragon Empire’s side seemed to rise even more.

Luo Yi stared at Long Yi with a malicious laugh, gripping his fists until they creaked. He said, "Come on, bastard, let’s see if these muscles of yours are just for show!"

Long Yi looked Luo Yi up and down, calculated his strength before shaking his head and laughing, "Tsk tsk, looking at your soft flesh, like a girl’s, wouldn’t it be bullying if I fight you?"

Soft flesh? Like a girl’s?

The fifty-odd people present suddenly felt chills. The choice of words by Long Yi was indeed inappropriate.

"Haha, are you trying to back down?" Luo Yi laughed.

"Of course not, I just feel the need to find a more suitable opponent for you."

Having said that, Long Yi turned around, grabbed Ai Lin’s arms and directly lifted her in front of him.

"Come on, let’s see who’s the real heroine here!" Long Yi said.

This time, even the Grade Six students on Long Yi’s side were stunned.

Does this Long Yi have a problem in his head?

He has an opponent with the power of one Dragon Mark and yet he puts such a cute girl in front of him? Was all the previous gossip about him just rumors? Is Long Yi actually a coward? That’s impossible! During the school opening ceremony, even facing the Third Prince, Long Yi didn’t back down and instead defeated the prince.
