The light flickered once more.
Long Yi noticed that the punch marks were not identical; some were smoother while others appeared to be quite fresh.
"Identify the metal." Long Yi deployed the rule. This self-aimed rule was quite straightforward and cost little to use.
In the end, he confirmed that the metal was just Fine Gold, but it was dozens of meters thick.
"Calculate the corrosion speed."
The black substance in the Worm’s belly didn’t exhibit strong devouring properties against Fine Gold, but despite being minuscule, it couldn’t be ignored.

"Execute the command." Long Yi demanded.

Long Yi knew he could control the Time-Space Rule; that was no secret to him. Initially, he’d simply thought it was a perk of his Giant identity, but now he understood that not even Giants, or even the gods, could easily accomplish this. The ease with which he controlled the Time-Space Rule was entirely because, fundamentally, the Divine Realm and any cosmos born from it were completely under his rule control. As the author of the rules, Long Yi could change any rule.
Currently inside the belly of the Worm, any act of changing the rules would provoke resistance from the Worm. Long Yi couldn’t hope to outright confront the Worm with just the Heavenly Kingdom’s power he carried with him. Therefore, he had to use a very simple, yet brutal method to defeat the Worm.
"Your time-space rule is now established," Long Er announced.
"Excellent, then let’s see just how tough your stomach really is, you wretched Worm!"

A heavy punch struck the floor made of Fine Gold, leaving behind a brand-new fist impression.

Another punch, with two overlapping fist marks side by side.
"Look, is this all the Almighty Creator can do now? Attack my pure Fine Gold body with your pathetic fists?" The Worm’s mocking voice came through.
"Even a dog could turn on its owner, let alone a foolish Worm!" Long Yi continued to hammer down with his fists, and the floor of Fine Gold was now smeared with blood and flesh over the punch marks.
"You should know this is a complete waste of time. Every punch you make consumes a large amount of your Heavenly Kingdom’s power. Before you can break through my dozen-meter-thick Fine Gold armor, your Heavenly Kingdom’s power will be exhausted, and everything from the material composing your body to your spirit will be completely devoured by me! I will take your place and return to the Heavenly Kingdom," said the Worm.
"Grand aspirations, but like I said, you have no idea where the Heavenly Kingdom even is." Long Yi’s punches kept falling. His fists were already battered and torn, but he was unfazed, resolve radiating through each blow.

He saw himself stepping back through several layers of the Divine Realm, beyond the Divine Realm, back into the middle of the Dragon Clan’s war, and then everything turned into streams of light. Only occasionally could he glimpse himself stepping back through the middle Plane, the Lower Plane, the Human Realm.
And then.
A young Long Yi stood in front of a large tree on the outskirts of a small town, where a little girl was huddling up, shivering. Her pure white dress was stained with trails of blood, and she looked at Long Yi with wariness, but Long Yi gave her a broad smile.
"I’m Long Yi, I live in this village. Do you need my help?" asked Long Yi.
"I’m Elsa, but I think you can’t help me," the little girl said.
"That might not be the case," Long Yi said with a smile as he extended his hand, and Elsa hesitantly put her own into Long Yi’s. All at once, the power of a Giant flooded into Elsa’s body, healing her wounds and rapidly restoring her vitality.
"You..." Elsa looked at Long Yi in astonishment.
"Hehe, it’s my secret, you see. Actually, I am a Giant!" exclaimed Long Yi excitedly.
"Congratulations on being admitted to the Dragon Rider Academy, Brother Long!"
