The Worm Avatar also spewed out Divine Power at the same time, clashing head-on with Long Yi again.
This crudest and most forceful spray of Divine Power burned up rapidly. Long Yi kept throwing out Eternal objects, whose stored Divine Power was quickly depleted to nothing! And due to clashing with Long Yi, the Worm Avatar’s own Divine Power could not concentrate, continuously causing the Plane to collapse, with one planet after another colliding against the Plane’s boundary, then disintegrating into the void of chaos.
"I still have plenty of Divine Power left! What about you?" the Worm Avatar laughed coldly.
"That was my last Eternal object." Long Yi, already sweating on his forehead, said.
"Oh? So, can I declare my victory now?" the Worm Avatar continued.
"Yeah, you certainly can declare your victory, if I hadn’t prepared this!" Long Yi fiercely raised his hand. Another surge of Divine Power spewed forth, and this time, it was endless!
"What is that?" The Worm Avatar could feel that this burst of Divine Power seemed to have no end in sight, and the energy felt very strange, not at all like the Divine Power that Long Yi had been using before.
"This is my trump card, Infinite Divine Power!" Long Yi said with a strained smile. Using his own body as a container, the cranked-up flow of the Infinite Divine Power Device subjected Long Yi to immense pressure. At this moment, Long Yi felt as if he was standing under a waterfall, the tremendous pressure constantly washing over his body. A slight relaxation, and he would be crushed to pieces!
"Infinite Divine Power! How could you possess Infinite Divine Power! During the battle with Simu, she had been very cautious with her use of Divine Power, as if fearful of running out!" the God of Worms bellowed loudly.
"It’s simple; she just didn’t want you to know." Long Yi said.
To counter Long Yi’s Divine Power, the Worm Avatar had to consume even more Divine Power, which meant less support for the Plane. Further collapse of the Plane essentially fulfilled the wishers’ desires, allowing Simu to obtain stronger Divine Power, which in turn would further compress the Plane.
At this point for the Worm Avatar, it was a vicious cycle.
"No! I will not be defeated! I am the God of Worms! The strongest god in the center of the Divine Realm! I am far greater than any of you! I come from the Heavenly Kingdom! I have the protection of the Heavenly Kingdom!" The Worm Avatar finally collapsed inwardly, screaming loudly, but unable to stop what was happening.
"No, you have lost, and you are not some god, you’re just a mere avatar. You are not great because you are just a worm. As for the Heavenly Kingdom." Long Yi tore open his chest with one hand, revealing the descending Heavenly Kingdom inside, and grinned: "I am the real one from the Heavenly Kingdom, and you, little worm, you are nothing but a creature made by the Heavenly Kingdom!"
Upon seeing the descending Heavenly Kingdom inside Long Yi’s chest, the Worm Avatar was utterly dumbstruck.
"It’s you... it was you all along! You are the one from the legends... Heavens! Lord Long Yi! I beg you to have mercy on me! I’m just a pitiful Avatar! I cannot escape my fate of being manipulated, but with you, you will surely become the strongest god in the Divine Realm! Please allow me to follow you and become your servant! I will be at your beck and call!"
The Worm Avatar spoke very humbly, practically ceasing all resistance, presenting an image of utter submission.
"Not long ago, I seem to remember you boasting that if you succeeded, you would strike back at the Heavenly Kingdom. Look at you, not even putting the entire Heavenly Kingdom in your eyes; it’s hard for me to believe what you say. So, up to this point, the greatest help you could offer me is to obediently die," Long Yi said.
"Hehehe, I understand now, I fully understand. Everything is within your plans, isn’t it? You think you have everything under control, as if overlooking the entire game board, and that’s why you disregard everything. But let me tell you, there will always be things that are completely beyond your expectations!"
"Die with me, Long Yi! Then no one could ever stop me! Hahahaha!"
Suddenly, the Worm avatar withdrew all of its tentacles and instantly swallowed Long Yi into its massive body.
"Wait for death with me! Hahaha!"
Once inside the Worm avatar, Long Yi almost immediately found the gluttonous serpent that had been imprisoned there. At this moment, the serpent had transformed into a huge orb of light having devoured an immense amount of Divine Power and even the power of the Heavenly Kingdom, which had significantly made it grow.
Long Yi immediately broke free from his restraints and the gluttonous serpent instantly gained its freedom. The freed serpent expressed a brief sense of longing towards Long Yi, and in the next instant, it charged straight towards the true flesh belonging to the Worm within the avatar, knowing that devouring the Worm would end everything!
However, the Worm avatar absolutely could not allow this to happen. It continuously produced new bindings to prevent the serpent’s progress, and Long Yi tried to blast away the restraints a few times, eventually finding the task too troublesome.
"You little bugger, you really want to mess with me, don’t you? Well, I’ll play along with you!"
With that, Long Yi directly maxed out the Divine Power flow rate of the Infinite Divine Power Device! By ’maxed out’, he meant the limit he could withstand; if it exceeded this, his body would disintegrate instantly from the surge of Divine Power!
Terrifying Divine Power burst forth from all around Long Yi’s body, clashing with the Worm avatar from within, leaving the avatar no time to attend to anything else but to forcefully counter Long Yi, rapidly shrinking in size!

The Fine Gold avatar eventually couldn’t withstand the scouring of the Divine Power and crumbled, and upon its collapse, Long Yi’s true body took over. The already tremendous pressure focused entirely on Long Yi’s own body. Although Long Yi’s physique had been enhanced countless times, he nearly fainted instantly in the face of Divine Power. Yet the stupor lasted less than half a second before Divine Power woke him again. After several cycles between unconsciousness and lucidity, Long Yi seemed to find a very peculiar sensation, as if he knew everything and could do anything!
Suddenly, at a most inappropriate time, Long Yi thought, if Xiaoyou could constantly enhance her body with Dragon Power, then couldn’t he do the same with Divine Power?
Initially, Long Yi’s Divine Power was insufficient, barely enough for combat, to say nothing of such wasteful expenditure. But now, his Divine Power could almost be described as overly abundant.
Can I really do that?
Long Yi asked himself, an odd piece of knowledge descended from the chest into his mind within the Heavenly Kingdom.
"It seems, I really can do this!" Long Yi told himself.
