Chapter 1666: Chapter 1244 Seeking Help
```
As news of the confirmed kill spread, cheers erupted from every corner of the three major planes. Because once the first one was down, the rest would quickly follow.
But Long Yi could not bring himself to rejoice, for the cost of killing just one Dragon Ball had been too great. Although none of the Giant Dragons had fallen yet, the proportion of those injured was unbearably high. And this was only the third battle; if the trend continued, it was uncertain what the enemy would send next. If something stronger, like a Giant Monster or a Dragon Beast, were to be unleashed, especially if it wielded Divine Power, the losses would be staggering.
Ultimately, it was the Worm’s performance that was so unexpectedly effective; it almost entirely used Long Yi’s tactics against him. The Worm aimed to exploit the fact that Long Yi could not use the Genesis Artifact to transform the Giant Dragons. Moreover, even if Long Yi could use the Genesis Artifact for transformation, he wouldn’t go to the extreme of creating a Dragon Ball composed solely of armor and a dragon mouth.
It was vexing.
There was no longer a need to worry about the battlefield; the armor of the Dragon Ball had been nearly decimated by the Armor-Piercing Bombs. Once the first Dragon Ball was breached, the rest would sequentially shatter. Now, Long Yi was more concerned about the Worm’s objectives.
"It is slowly testing my limits, seeing how much I can withstand. I suspect it will hit me hard all of a sudden, and I don’t have many options," Long Yi said to Simu.
"Although I share your concerns, I do not believe he can surpass you, your wisdom far exceeds his," replied Simu.
"Hearing praise from the Creator God themselves certainly boosts my confidence a lot, but I think I really need some help now," Long Yi said.
"Help?" Simu asked, puzzled.
"Before the Giants left this world, they hid many things. Even before the war started, I had the Great Explorer transmit signals in the name of the Giants, attempting to find any kind of armed Giant relics that might provide a solution," Long Yi explained.
"Like, say, a Void Power Core that could destroy an entire plane?" Simu said jokingly.
"This is why sometimes Giants really are such a troublesome life form. Why can’t they just make some regular devices? If it’s not too peaceful to be useless, it’s too powerful to be controllable — like Golems, for instance..."
As he said this, Long Yi suddenly froze, then lowered his head in deep thought.
"I’m really a bloody fool; even though the Golems have gone to the Divine Realm, the Core Race is still here; the core is the key to a Golem! And they did not take all the Golems with them back then!" In a flash of realization, Long Yi slapped his forehead and exclaimed: "I’ve already made the enhancement elixir for you, the Black Dragon, inside the Great Explorer. Inject it into them after the war ends! I’m off to the Human Realm!"
Saying that, Long Yi dashed off in a hurry. Simu watched him leave with a smile still on their face.
"Therefore, I believe you will surely win."
In the Human Realm, the Dark City remains peaceful. Although the Human Realm is now united, the Dark City still does not interact much with humans. However, the Dark Clan was equally attentive to the war taking place in the cosmos. Since the former Dark Saintess left, the Dark City, now without her, has been completely managed by the six Elders. Long Yi didn’t use the Worm Vehicle but instead appeared directly in Dark City through positional memory, his arrival causing no surprise. The six Elders had already been waiting: "Respected Lord Long Yi, you have finally arrived."
"You were waiting for me?" Long Yi asked in surprise.
"Yes, we received a hint from Miss Suolin more than a decade ago that you would return during this period, so we have been waiting here all along," explained one Elder, handing Long Yi a letter at the same time.
The letter was on ordinary paper, with only three words written on it.
I’m fine.
Suolin.
Hearing from Suolin again made Long Yi very happy. The last time, Long Yi had desperately sent Suolin back, and then the battle between two gods ensued; Long Yi guessed Suolin might not get involved. But to hear her news here was reassuring.
The Dark Clan Elders led Long Yi to the underground factory of Dark City. This facility had once repaired a great number of Golems, but after the war ended, it seemed no longer in use — peace reigned in the Human Realm.
There were no Golems to be seen in the factory, and as they arrived at the storage warehouse door for parts, the Elder opened the rusty iron door, activating the magic illumination inside.
"Lord Long Yi, we have one Golem left, and it’s right here. However, this Golem might look a bit different from what you remember," the Elder said, gesturing with a hand. Following the Elder’s direction, Long Yi found indeed there was a Golem in front of him, cast entirely in Fine Gold but with the likeness of a girl. The Golem’s chest was empty without a Power Core, naturally rendering it inoperative.
