Chapter 1581: Chapter 1025: Memories from the Future
Ten Silver Dragons were created, a breed of Dragon Clan that had never existed before. They possessed the robust physique typical of the Dragon Clan, but their blood was Mithril, their skin likewise. Due to the Mithril bridging their insides with their surroundings, the Silver Dragon breed excelled at energy manipulation. Their appearance significantly placed the Dragon Clan at a disadvantage during later invasions against the Elves.
The emergence of the Silver Dragons puzzled all Dragon Clan members because such dragons had never existed among them before. These Silver Dragons weren’t created by gods but were actually crafted from the future.
Creation was the simplest task for phase space; the successful future immediately created Silver Dragon avatars for every Elf. It also inscribed this information into the World Tree, ensuring that any Elf born from the World Tree would have a Silver Dragon avatar.
Nevertheless, the future didn’t forget itself.
It crafted her current form.
"Though it might border on copyright infringement, thankfully no one in this world would sue us, right?" the future said, smiling.
Long Yi opened and closed his mouth, unsure of what to say. Gazing into Future’s gem-like eyes, Long Yi could only scratch his head and say, "It’s supposed to be just a plane, yet it’s more thrilling than me."
"Come on, rookie, you still know how to fly a plane?" Future pointed at a fighter jet beside her that had finished engine repairs.
"Haha! You got that wrong, I’m no rookie anymore!" Long Yi boasted proudly.
"Eh? Turned into an old rookie now?" Future squinted jokingly.
"Hmph, not suitable for children."
Leaping into the cockpit, the ejector seat was also fully restored. The familiar touch nearly moved Long Yi to tears.
Future sat in the backseat as the transparent cockpit closed.
"Come on, partner, it’s been almost ten thousand years! Let’s take off again!" Future spoke softly.
Long Yi took a deep breath, closed his eyes, but his fingers adeptly toggled various switches.
"There’s nothing quite like the tactile pleasure of mechanical buttons in magic," Long Yi felt goosebumps all over his body.
"Watch the acceleration, don’t pee your pants!" Future warned.
"Kidding, I’ve broken the sound barrier solo many times————ah————"
The massive warplane left only a streak of light in the sky before disappearing completely.
Long Yi was totally unprepared; he thought how fast could it really go? Turns out, it felt like he was smashed into his seat by a terrifying explosion, struggling to breathe for a moment. Thankfully, his divine power intervened in time, and Long Yi recovered from the initial blackout.
"This is just, too exhilarating!"
It’s a different feeling from a dragon! This time it’s my fighter jet! This is my dragon! I am such a Dragon Knight! Hahaha!
Long Yi roared in the cockpit, while Future in the back shouted, "Control your saliva glands! Spit is flying back here!"
Long Yi didn’t care; he maneuvered wildly in the air, like a child who found his long-lost treasured toy.
He had been waiting for this day for far too long.
Suolin was forcefully returned to four days prior, now she stood on the teleportation platform. The Giants never ceased their exploration of space-time, as each journey brought new discoveries.
"What’s happening..." Suolin felt bewildered, her mind somewhat muddled, holding fragmented memories, possibly a side effect of undergoing two teleportations within a short span.
"Strange, why does the reading on your physical state suddenly show anomalies? The data here shows you underwent two space-time travels in a very short time. But you haven’t planned any space-time travels recently," Old Walter said curiously.
"I find it odd too, but if the data shows there’s a problem, then there must be a problem. Pause the travel plans immediately, I suddenly felt uneasy all over, as if some memories flooded into my mind," Suolin said.
"Medical team! Conduct a full examination immediately!" Old Walter shouted.
There were always professional staff on standby here, and they served only Suolin. At the command, all medical personnel immediately came forward, placing Suolin atop the examination array, with the Giant’s power coursing through her body.
"That’s strange," a doctor said.
"What happened?" Old Walter leaned in.
"Before she stood on the teleportation platform, we conducted a check. Here is her examination report, and these are the current examination data."
"Let me see." Old Walter compared the two data sets, "Energy level consistent, physical condition consistent. Wait, there are some purely energetic nature memories that suddenly appeared in your brain, what’s going on here?"
By Giant standards, memories were classified into energy-nature and material-nature. Most memories stored in the brain are material-nature, while short-term memories are mostly energy-nature.
In all the past assignments, Suolin had never experienced such memory disruptions.
