Chapter 1560: Chapter 1195: Seeking Opportunities Amidst Danger

This is absolutely a sure-win battle! However, one has to act swiftly. Judging by the time it generally takes for gods to fully absorb Divine Status, after the passage of three divine ring cycles, a stronger enemy will emerge if we decide to attack then.

In fact, there were not a few Legions harboring this thought. Thus, less than one divine ring cycle after the battle here concluded, the outer space near Mars has gathered hundreds of thousands of invaders.

"A divine ring cycle, not even ten hours, these gods are indeed resolute." The Darkness Saintess could not see the distant gods from afar, but the Divine Power fluctuations continuously emanating from the surrounding space made her aware that a fierce battle was imminent.

"It’s like sharks that have smelled blood." Piglet snorted.

"Prepare for battle." The Darkness Saintess said.

"No, no, no, let’s wait, don’t be hasty." Piglet snorted.

"Why?" The Darkness Saintess didn’t understand. Wasn’t it necessary to adopt an offensive stance immediately, instead of waiting for others to bring the fight to our doorstep?

"Because I believe, there’s no need for us to be the ones to attack first." A cunning light flickered in Piglet’s eyes.

"What I find particularly odd is, who let out the news that we annihilated ten thousand Gods of War here? I can’t believe that Legion would release such detrimental news about themselves." The Darkness Saintess suddenly spoke.

"It was me, of course, no need to thank me." Piglet said with a proud face.

"I knew it had to be you, you vanished after having your fill." The Darkness Saintess nodded.

"No, no, you’re mistaken, I wasn’t fully sated. But that doesn’t hinder my intelligent brain from devising an incredibly shrewd plan." Piglet boasted proudly.

"So, do you think they will fall into chaos first?" The Darkness Saintess asked.

"It’s not a matter of thinking, it’s a certainty." Piglet said.

"Why are you so sure?"

"Because although they have formed primitive societies, they lack effective rules to constrain them. Just like slightly smarter wild beasts, years of warfare have created irreconcilable contradictions. It’s all right if they don’t meet, but once they do, it’s bound to be..."

Boom!

The distant space suddenly collapsed, and the shockwave was even felt within Mars.

"See, they’ve started fighting." Piglet said with a smug look.

In fact, just as Piglet described, after several large Legions arrived here, they were surprised to find members of other Legions present as well. The Commanders on-site had initially intended to restrain their troops a bit. However, before the order could be issued, the battle had already erupted.

There were a total of seven Legions present, with over five hundred thousand Gods of War. Such an astounding number of Gods of War fighting in this tiny universe was enough to cause spatial tremors. But for the Divine Realm, spatial tremors and Spatial Ruptures are trivialities that wouldn’t cause any trouble to the Divine Realm itself.

Thus, the Golems that should have been invaded by the intruders, now just quietly watched from the sidelines, while the battle between the five hundred thousand Gods of War grew ever fiercer. Not only that, but more Gods of War continued joining the battlefield! Clearly, these Legions were calling for reinforcements! Mars reconfigured parts of her armor into large observational equipment, allowing her to watch all the scenes of the battlefield. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"This is just like a brawl among primitives." The Darkness Saintess commented.

The fight didn’t seem as intense when it was against her, but now, watching those hundreds of thousands of Gods of War clashing against each other, the impression was quite striking.

"It’s not bad, after all, it’s a bit more sightly than the brawl of beasts from the nineth and eigth rings." Piglet snorted.

"But, how long will they keep fighting?"

"If initially it was just an inescapable fight, now, they can’t pull out even if they want to. Once they’re seeing red, unless there is a being with absolute power that can forcefully separate these hundreds of thousands of Gods of War, they will never stop."

"Yes, but by that time, it should be our turn to take the stage."

In fact, the Darkness Saintess always wanted to upgrade her Golems to the next level, but the Divine Status was not enough. Now, though, with such a large group of Divine Statuses delivered right to her, that was great. Although it was impossible to keep all hundreds of thousands of Divine Statuses, the main objective of this operation was to try to keep enough for the upgrades.

However, the scale of the battle among several Legions this time had far exceeded the expectations of Darkness Saintess and Piglet. Because soon, the number of Gods of War participating in the battle exceeded a million!

"This really is, exhilarating." Piglet murmured.

Even though it was Piglet who had spread the news, and it was Piglet who had orchestrated this chaos, watching the tumult escalate to a war of a million Gods of War, Piglet felt it might be getting out of control.

"Maybe we should retreat first." Piglet said.

"Let’s wait and see." The Darkness Saintess said.

"I don’t think there’s any need to keep watching. The number of Gods of War is still increasing, and if an accident does happen, and this host turns towards us, just relying on Mars’s defenses will be far from sufficient." Piglet said.
