Chapter 1453: Chapter 1153: This is the Divine Realm_2

This place cannot be described using the concept of a Plane because it is constantly changing, and all life here possesses Divine Power. All Divine Power has the ability to affect everything around it, and when one lifeform changes its environment through Divine Power, it inevitably causes displeasure to another lifeform. Thus, the two parties will start to fight.

This kind of fight starts even from microorganisms. Every plant and tree, every insect, every bird is the same.

Even a planet.

When the Lady of Darkness and her people first arrived here, they were extremely unaccustomed to everything because one moment you saw a planet, and the next, that planet might be gone. One minute ago, there was a pond, and a minute later, it turned into a desert. The degree to which living beings could change their environment here had reached its peak. As long as they were alive, they would want the environment to conform to their favorite appearance, and they didn’t even need intelligence; it was just instinct, and Divine Power would naturally make the change for them.

But now, they had adapted to this strange world.

Before coming here, the core clan had merged with the Golem and completed a historic upgrade, which made them officially start calling themselves the Golem Clan. It was because of this upgrade that they could safely enter the Divine Realm without being changed by Divine Power. In this world called the Divine Realm, you either change others or get changed by others. It can be said that the living conditions here are unimaginably harsh.

Actually, at the beginning, when the newly born Golem Clan heard about the Divine Realm, they all thought it would be a paradise where they could have anything they wanted. After all, everyone here is a god, which should have already eliminated any fighting. However, after they arrived here, they saw countless battles between gods.

In this place, there is no distinction between day and night, and although the boundaries of the Divine Realm are unknown, there is a fixed method of keeping time—the tide of Divine Power. Each cycle is considered a day, and every day there is a period of peak and the lowest ebb of Divine Power. Within these times, sometimes the Lady of Darkness could witness dozens of battles.

The battles between gods can be said to be extremely grand, with common occurrences of space shattering and time distorting; planets colliding with other planets was a common sight; and there were even a few instances of a immense tearing of planes. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

However, fights between gods rarely resulted in clear victory or defeat. At least, the newly born Golem Clan only witnessed one true victory, where one god killed another, absorbed the other’s Divine Power and Divine Status, and the loser completely vanished.

It seems that even in the Divine Realm, taking a life was still not a matter taken lightly; there must be some rules here.

After completing their upgrade, the Golems turned human-sized, and even though their size reduced, their combat ability saw a remarkably increase. More importantly, a layer of Divine Text appeared around their bodies, which allowed them to remain outside of the Divine Realm. Even as they roamed around this place, no god ever discovered them. Although this was somewhat due to their deliberate discretion, the most crucial reason was that they could completely block out any influence of Divine Power on them.

Hiding themselves, this was the primary function of the surrounding Divine Text. Of course, this couldn’t be its only ability. More importantly, it could produce enough resistance to Divine Power!

From the beginning, the Lady of Darkness suspected that the Giant might have already prepared for their entry into the Divine Realm; otherwise, why upgrade their Divine Power resistance when the Golem was originally created just to combat the Dragon Clan?

The Golem Clan entered the Divine Realm to look for traces of the Giant. However, since their arrival, they’ve been here for a long time and have not found any messages left by the Giant, as the Divine Realm is too vast. As strangers, they dared not brazenly enter the world inhabited by many gods. After thinking it over, the Lady of Darkness decided to venture deeper into the Divine Realm. To find the Giant, she must interact with the gods!

The Divine Realm houses many gods of varying strengths. In fact, despite the immense size of the Divine Realm, the gods are not distributed haphazardly. In one location where there are three planets, the strongest group of gods gathers, known as the center of the Divine Realm. Circling this central area is a planetary belt, known as the outer periphery of the Divine Realm’s center, where the gods are of lesser strength but always have the possibility of entering the center of the Divine Realm.

Further out is called the Second Divine Ring Belt, abbreviated as the Second Ring, where the gods are even weaker.

By the time you reach the Ninth Ring, the strength of the gods living there can almost be described as pitiful.

The Divine Realm was densely populated by deities, but the most numerous were the minor gods living in the outer ring. The truly powerful major gods resided in the central area. The mode of combat involving the tearing of planes seen by the golems was the handiwork of these major gods.

Now, a group of golems was on a small planet in the ninth ring. In this location, almost every planet had a god. This god had created the planet, the life on it, and basked in the worship of these beings, accumulating divine power, waiting for the chance to ascend to the eighth ring.

With utmost caution, they landed on the planet. Due to the presence of divine texts, no life form on this planet had detected their arrival.

One golem picked up a small insect from the ground that was chirping with divine power and discovered that even this insect was a purely mechanical structure powered by divine power. Another golem pulled down a leaf, which was also entirely metallic, with tiny mechanisms designed to collect solar energy.

This was indeed a thoroughly mechanized world.

This mechanical world also had an intelligent race, but they were not humanoid. Instead, they were simple quadrupedal beings, four legs supporting a round body, surrounded by four mechanical arms, each eye capable of looking in different directions. They also had four flying arrays that allowed them to float and fly freely in the air.

The golems encountered some indigenous life forms and obtained some information about this planet’s god from them.

The god of this planet was a mechanical lifeform itself, only its core was very special, made of a divine power alloy formed from divine power and metal. Initially, it was just a mass of alloy. Under the influence of divine power, this mass continuously absorbed knowledge and grew. Finally, over a long time, it developed intelligence, attained divine status, and became a god. Then, it created a mechanical civilization on this planet, turning the entire planet into a mechanical one. The nature of this planet was like a mechanical race, similar to the golems themselves.

However, to the golems, these mechanical gods and the mechanical race itself, both in terms of external appearance and structural design, lacked aesthetic appeal. They also seemed to lack practical value; they felt fragile, as if they could be destroyed at any moment.

The reason Saint of Darkness chose this planet was partly because it was relatively far from the central area, which appeared safer. On the other hand, the current golems were essentially semi-mechanical lifeforms themselves, which might make communication simpler.

Of course, this was just a guess by the Saint of Darkness. They did not know if this was true.

This intelligent race had their own cities and villages. Saint of Darkness led the golems to the edge of a city and captured a native. From the sophistication of its body structure, this being seemed to have a higher status than ordinary beings because its components were more refined.

"Who are you, where do you come from, and what do you intend to do?" asked the Saint of Darkness.

But the other only emitted a series of signals using divine power.

"Their language is formed from divine power, decode it," said the Saint of Darkness.

Soon, the divine power was deciphered.

It turned out that this fellow was the mayor’s son of this city, and he had sneaked here to meet his girlfriend!
