Chapter 1040: Chapter 793 I Know Your Secret

"What do you want!" Aimondeus asked very nervously. There were various rumors about Female Demons, including controlling people’s minds and torturing souls. He didn’t want to experience any of those rumors.

"Actually, I don’t want much. I’m just curious about who’s been calling the shots. Now that I’ve found you, all I need to do is ensure that you won’t cheat anymore," Little Zi said casually, standing to the side.

"Humph, I’ve already given Ado his last order, you’re too late!" Aimondeus said.

"That’s none of my concern. But no matter how powerful Ado is, my master would never..." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Boom!

Before Little Zi could finish, Long Yi had already been blasted away by the Giant.

"Forget it, like I never said anything," muttered Little Zi, covering her face.

Long Yi got up from among the crowd, glanced at the group of people he had knocked down, and loudly asked the referee beside him, "Hey, the other side fouled, do I win by default?"

The referee was already ruffled, "You win! Quickly stop it!"

Only then did Long Yi grin, "This is too easy!"

Boom!

The golden Giant threw a golden punch, clashing with the crystal-covered fist. The crystals shattered, and the massive monster let out a howl.

"Tsk tsk, Ado, look at you, so hideous," said the golden Giant, Long Yi.

Just then, Ado had suddenly swelled into a Giant Monster amid a roaring sound, its body sprouting large crystals. These crystals supplied the monster with energy, and for a moment, Long Yi couldn’t find any defensive magic and was directly blown away.

But now that he had won, things would be easier.

"You see, Ado, this isn’t personal," Long Yi said as he charged towards the mutated Ado and punched him hard in the stomach. Despite Ado’s enormous weight, he was still sent flying by Long Yi’s punch. Then Long Yi turned and threw another heavy punch down, smashing Ado directly to the ground.

"Aow!"

Ado roared in an attempt to get up, his body’s crystals erupting in brilliant light.

Boom!

As the crystals exploded, Long Yi was blown back a few steps by the shockwave, while the shattered crystals flew everywhere. Luckily, the barrier guarded the others from the explosion.

After the shockwave dissipated, Ado had already gotten up, and the exploded crystals had regrown once again.

"As a monster, you should just lie there and wait to be taken down. What’s the point of struggling like this!"

Long Yi dove again, his fist connecting with the monster’s chin, instantly shattering the jaw.

Then Long Yi grabbed a crystal from the monster, pouring Demon Power into it. The once bright crystal instantly flickered with a strange light. Afterwards, Long Yi grabbed the monster’s arm and flung it far away. The surrounding barrier might stop magic, but it couldn’t stop any creature.

Ado, now a monster, was thrown far away into a corner where nobody was present. As the monster hit the ground, it immediately struggled to get up. But its body swelled again, growing taller and its body’s crystals denser and thicker!

"Oh? I didn’t know he could get even stronger," said Aimondeus in surprise.

"Not stronger, but completely turning into a Crazy Demon," Little Zi said.

Sure enough, after this swelling, the monster’s massive body began to crystallize rapidly, and eventually turned into a Giant Monster made entirely of crystals!

"Crazy Demons!"

No one knew who screamed, but almost everyone cried out and rushed out. Crazy Demons, in any Plane, were an absolute synonym for danger. You might defeat a Crazy Demon by force, but once you’re infected with Crystal Poison, soon you’d become one of them!

Ado, now mutated into a Crazy Demon, appeared even more furious. People were fleeing in terror, while only Long Yi, transformed into a golden Giant, was still watching him.

"Roar!"

The Crazy Demon Ado roared and lunged straight at Long Yi. It even spit out a Light Cannon from its mouth, blasting it at Long Yi.

Long Yi was all too familiar with the Crazy Demon’s attack methods. Dodging the Light Cannon by turning around, he kicked the Crazy Demon’s leg, shattering its purely crystalline leg and sending the heavy body crashing to the ground.

"Let’s see where your Crystal Core is!"

Long Yi surveyed the whole Crazy Demon, but was surprised to find that at the location of the Crazy Demon’s chest, the frail young Ado had not disappeared, but was sealed inside!

Boom! Long Yi shattered the chest and grabbed Ado out. Throwing him aside and without Ado, the Crazy Demon immediately became furious. It struggled crazily, trying to rush towards Ado, but Long Yi wouldn’t let it get its way.

"I’ve shattered many Crazy Demons, and countless others larger than you. Compared to them, your attacks are like a joke," said Long Yi as he brought down a heavy punch, right where the Crazy Demon’s Crystal Core was!

The Crystal Core shattered, and the once struggling Crazy Demon instantly stopped.

"Prepare the decontamination work,"

Long Yi reverted to his original form, dusting off his hands.

Aimondeus was dumbfounded, his perception of Long Yi’s strength completely renewed. Whether it was the initial high-level combat Mage, the monster after breaking seals, or the subsequent Crazy Demon, Long Yi always managed to defeat them in a crushing manner.

How strong is Long Yi, really!?

Thud, thud!

The knocking sound came, and Little Zi ran to open the door, standing outside were Long Yi, Ai Lin, Silverlight, and Xiaodie.

"Is Solis not here? I thought he would enjoy observing his creation up close—even though it’s quite useless," Long Yi said.

"Master Solis has more important things to do, and such trivial matters do not require his attention," Aimondeus said.

"Is that so? He was present for the previous battles, but he’s not watching his own high-level combat mage? Does this mean he has no confidence in his own skills, or does he plan to blame you entirely if the battle is lost?" Little Zi said with a tilt of her eye.

"So what if it is, and what if it’s not, what can you do about it?" Aimondeus was prepared to be shameless; after all, he was sure that Long Yi wouldn’t dare to do anything to him.

"It doesn’t matter whether it does or doesn’t. Actually, I just want to entrust you with a message for Elder Solis," Long Yi said.

"What?"

Aimondeus asked, looking up.

Bang!

Before Long Yi could speak, he had already punched Aimondeus in the stomach, the huge impact instinctively making him double over and collapse to the ground.

"Just tell Solis that I know the secret he’s hiding inside his head."

After saying this, Long Yi left with the four girls in tow.

Aimondeus was drenched in sweat, lying on the ground for a full ten minutes. At that moment, the three Guardians of the Ancient Mage Tower from outside awoke from their hypnotic state. They hurriedly brought Aimondeus to the hospital, where various healing methods were applied to fully repair his damaged internal organs.

Afterward, Aimondeus went to find Solis, his anger burning like fire. He had to retell today’s events with exaggeration! He had to have Long Yi killed!

In Solis’s meditation room, the Master sat on the floor, drenched in sweat. Mysterious runes surrounded him, pulsating now white, now red.

"Give up the struggle and surrender your consciousness to me!"

Solis spoke as if in a trance.

"No, never! This is my body, my consciousness, and you’ll never take over it, parasite!"

Solis roared again.

"Give up. You know that only by obeying me will you find relief. My consciousness is merging with yours. No matter how much you struggle, eventually, you will be under my control. It’s just a matter of time. Why not make it easy on yourself and take a rest?"

Solis mumbled.

"A rest? Yes, I’m tired, I want to take a rest... I’m so tired."

Just then, a hurried knocking interrupted the silence of the meditation room. Solis suddenly opened his eyes, fury in his blood-red gaze!

"Daring to interrupt me at this time!"

After a roar of anger, Solis closed his eyes again. But the next moment he opened them, the red glow had vanished. Solis looked around, slightly confused.

"A dream? It was all just a nightmare! Phew..." Solis let out a sigh of relief as the knocking reached his ears once more.

"Who is it?"

"It’s me, Aimondeus!" Aimondeus called from outside the door.

If this had happened before, Solis would have been fuming at being woken from his meditation, but now he felt only relief at having survived.

The door to the meditation room opened, and when Aimondeus saw Solis, nearly drenched in sweat, he was taken aback. Solis had always been meticulous in his image, and Aimondeus had never seen him sweat so profusely.

"What is it?" Solis asked.

"It’s like this." Clutching his stomach, Aimondeus recounted everything that had just happened.

"And at the end, Long Yi left a message for you."

"What message?"

"Long Yi said, he knows the secret hidden in your head."

Upon hearing this, Solis involuntarily took a half step back.

"Elder Solis? Are you alright?" Aimondeus quickly supported him.

"Ah! No, nothing’s wrong! It’s just that I’ve just finished meditating and my mental strength has been greatly depleted." Solis suddenly laughed.

"So about this matter..."

"Never mind what Long Yi said; he’s just bluffing," Solis stated.

"What about the high-level combat mage?"

"Leave that be for now as well. Wait until I find a suitable countermeasure. You keep an eye on Long Yi, and I’ll have a way to deal with him." (To be continued.
