Leo hopped onto Agnivar’s back.

"Just kidding. Do I look so bad that I won’t feed my own beasts?" Leo said with a chuckle, signalling Thalvyr to sit behind him.

"We’ve got the whole corpse of that big-ass, double-headed snake to snack on."

Agnivar narrowed his eyes, as if checking whether Leo was telling the truth or not, because for him and Ashira, feeding on the Infernal Serpent’s corpse would be highly beneficial. The greatest improvements would be in their bloodline purification and an increase in their fire affinity.

Leo noticed the contemplation in Agnivar’s eyes and shook his head.

"You think too much for your own good. Remember, now you’re under me, so everything in your life is tied to me, and watching over your growth is my first and foremost responsibility. So, allow yourself to relax a bit. And don’t worry, if you want periodic leave, you’ll even get that, though the limit will be a 10,000-kilometre radius. Understood?" he said, patting Agnivar’s back lightly.

Agnivar nodded and finally looked at Thalvyr, who seemed hesitant to climb onto his back.

"You are allowed to ride on my back, and don’t make me repeat the same thing next time." Agnivar then glanced at Leo.

"Knowing him, I bet he’ll be sending us together on errands many times from now on."

"Hahaha, you know me quite well in just this short amount of time," Leo said with a hearty laugh. Indeed, he already had plans to send both of them on missions, especially the mercenary tasks he had been thinking about.

Leo then proceeded to strap the life bracelet beneath one of Agnivar’s scales, where it would be extremely difficult to reach.

"Keep this safe and always attached to your body. It will save your life if you ever find yourself in a dangerous situation."

By now, Thalvyr had hesitantly climbed onto Agnivar’s back.

He had to admit that it felt quite awkward to him. Wyverns were practically worshipped by his people, and now he was riding on one of them.

As if noticing Thalvyr’s thoughts, Agnivar spoke.

"We are not as special as you think. As a matter of fact, your base strength is higher than mine, so be comfortable."

Agnivar said ’base-stats’ specifically because his 50% stat-boosting traits made him stronger than Thalvyr, even though he was Pseudo 4-star while Thalvyr was Low 4-star.

Leo checked his phone.

The distance was 20 kilometres from here and 100 kilometres from the academy.

"Let’s see how fast you can fly. Towards that direction—go!"

Contrary to Leo’s expectations, Agnivar first pushed off with his powerful hind legs, immediately followed by an explosive thrust from his massive, muscular wings.

Oh... I’ve been summoning him into mid-air all this time. I guess this is how he takes flight from the ground. Leo thought as Agnivar steadily gained altitude. The territory members watched the Wyvern. Some were immediately horrified, while others bravely took defensive stances.

But Naelith and Lyswenna quickly calmed the situation after informing everyone that it was friendly.

"HOHHH! Lord tamed a Wyvern?!" one Gnome exclaimed.

"It seems he is indeed very strong and capable, just like Miss Sylrael said."

"I-I mean, Lord’s wife is so strong, so it’s only natural he’ll be even stronger," another timid Nature Gnome exclaimed.

"I just wish he is just like Miss Sylrael said..." The speaking Gnome suddenly caught another Gnome taking advantage of the distraction to touch the statue of a Rock Golem.

"You!! Do you want to be killed by the lord?! Don’t touch anything without his permission! Not to mention his possessions!"

"S-sorry... but I can—"

"No buts!"

The curious Gnome timidly retreated to the farm, where a new plantation was underway after the seeds from the first harvest had been collected.

Back with Leo, he was weaving through the sky as the ice-cold air and tiny ice flakes hammered against his face.

"Damn!" He immediately deployed an Aura barrier around his body, and even Thalvyr did the same since he had learned the skill.

The only unfortunate one was Agnivar. His heated scales were growing cooler by the second.

Leo didn’t hesitate and immediately covered Agnivar’s entire body in Aura, instantly stabilising his condition.

Agnivar nodded in thanks before increasing his flying speed by another notch.

For a beast not specialised in flying, Agnivar was quite fast. Almost 250 kilometres per hour, even with the wind blowing against him and the environment being far from favourable.

Leo sighed.

Looks like I would need to command Howl to create a specialised location for these hot-blooded beings... he thought, imagining a special area where Howl would specifically concentrate his [Thermal Pulse] to make it resemble a volcanic region.

"Wait..." Leo muttered, attracting Agnivar’s and Thalvyr’s attention.

"Oh, nothing. I just had an amazing idea."

Wouldn’t it be awesome if I built hot springs with Howl’s help? They would be hot topics in this cold climate! Leo couldn’t help but think it was absolutely genius. He would make a lot of profit from it.

"Shit! I’ll be short on people once again!" Leo cursed. Those 17 maids would indeed do the job, but then he would have no one left to handle everything else he had planned. Not to mention, he needed more combat personnel.

Agnivar and Thalvyr looked at him again.

"Don’t mind me. I’m just getting a bit excited..." Leo said, scratching his head awkwardly. He was suddenly getting tons of ideas to implement in the territory to make it more comfortable and habitable in this climate that was bound to get freezing in the coming days.

Looks like it’s finally time to visit Brother James. I need some more people whom I can absolutely trust. Leo thought. He was sure he could recruit more people from Kendru City, especially good people who might have worked with Lily at the restaurant.

Leo suddenly had a thought.

"Do I have any friends...?"

He tried recalling.

Drunkards who always asked him for spare change so they could drink more, gamblers who emptied Leo’s pockets, the bar manager who kept Leo trapped in an addictive, money-losing game, wannabe thugs who dragged Leo into petty theft, that perverted old man who told fortunes—also one of the reasons the previous Leo had slowly started hating Lily, because the old man claimed she was a bad omen in his life.

Only now did Leo realise it had all been that old man’s ploy to get his hands on Lily.

"Ohhh, no wonder he suddenly moved to another block in the city. Lily might have done something," Leo chuckled.

By now, he was getting a clear view of a particular area in the distance that looked quite chaotic.

"Wait..." Leo narrowed his eyes as his gaze sharpened.

"Is Lily juggling those people in mid-air...?"
