The official’s eyes widened upon finishing the evaluation as he looked back and forth between Leo and the treasures displayed before him.

Even Leo himself was surprised that only about 5% of his spoils had netted him this much. He had surely thought he was being stingy with the scarce amount of treasures he was selling.

But it turned out to be 4000 Gold Coins when the officials rounded it, or exactly 10 Million AC.

"S-sir, please wait a moment while we quickly fetch your payment."

Saying that, the official bolted away with so much speed that even he couldn’t believe he was capable of it.

Some people standing behind Leo, selling their own items, were equally shocked and jeolous.

"Sir Leo!"

A familiar voice called out.

It was Dale.

He walked over to Leo, but his eyes remained fixed on the treasures Leo had displayed for sale.

"What in the world..." he muttered. He had thought he was the one scoring big after securing a total of 2000 Gold Coins with his spoils, but seeing Leo’s haul left him completely dumbstruck.

He quickly collected himself and scanned the items again, only to notice something amiss.

"Sir Leo... were you unable to get to the place I revealed? I don’t see any related treasures here..." he asked, checking once again in case he had missed something. He was specifically looking for the sap and resin that Leo might have acquired from the Infernoheart Mango Tree.

"Actually, I did get there, and even the harvest was very bountiful. The reason I’m not selling them is that I need them for my own uses," Leo replied with a kind smile.

In reality, he would have sold the resin and sap if he had actually extracted them, but since he had bagged the whole tree without separating them, doing so now was difficult.

Dale’s eyes widened in surprise.

"You actually managed to kill the beast?! Wow! I expected nothing less from Sir Leo."

"Don’t tell me you still underestimate me," Leo said with a laugh.

"No, no. I completely believed you. That’s why I even revealed the place to you."

They were interrupted when the official came running back, accompanied by 2 manservants carrying metallic boxes in their hands.

"Sir... huff... huff..." The official wiped the sweat from his brow before gesturing for the servants to hand the boxes to Leo. He had sprinted there and back without stopping, leaving him completely out of breath.

"There are all 4000 Gold Coins. You can trust us."

Leo nodded and stored the boxes away.

"By the way, if you don’t mind, could you please tell us your name? We would like to invite you to the Grand Auction that will be held after 7 PM."

Leo raised a brow.

So, invitations are given on this basis too.

He glanced toward Dale, who nodded. It seemed even he had received an invitation, judging by the thick payment of 2000 Gold Coins he had been paid.

"My name is Leo. Though I already have an invitation, don’t bother," Leo said before walking off with Dale, chatting casually.

Before leaving, the official whispered something to the manservants.

"Go, inform Mr. Jubal about this man and, if possible, even Lord Ember."

The servants nodded and hurried away.

"So, Sir Leo, are you saying you have many more treasures with you that you haven’t sold?" Dale asked.

"Yeah, I do. I plan to sell some in the auction and take the rest with me." He pointed at Naelith and Thalvyr.

"As you can see, I have my own combatants that would require those."

Both Naelith and Thalvyr froze momentarily, as if they couldn’t believe what they had just heard.

"Lord..." Thalvyr muttered before quietly grasping the implications.

Dale looked toward the two of them and couldn’t help wondering just how wealthy a man had to be to give away such prized possessions to mere slaves.

Why can’t I sense their strength? Dale wondered, coming to the conclusion that Leo must have used some skill or equipment to suppress his senses. The Lizardman looked very strong to Dale and could potentially even defeat him.

But then, Dale caught on to Leo’s earlier words.

"Wait... you have treasures above the Blue tier rank, and you’re willing to sell them?" Since Leo wanted to sell something at the auction, it simply meant Purple(4) Tier treasures were in his possession, and he was willing to part with those rare valuables.

"Yeah, I have some extras that I’d like to see how much they’re evaluated at," Leo replied casually.

"You managed to get extras?! How many?!"

Leaving Dale in utter shock, Leo spotted an area where people were registering treasures above the Blue tier rank to be displayed at the auction, so that bidding could be made.

When he arrived, he gathered some information and learned that he was allowed to have his treasures evaluated without actually putting them up for auction if he wished. He also learned that no one would forcefully take or steal his treasures after they were revealed—a promise backed by the City Lord’s name.

Leo rubbed his chin thoughtfully, pondering whether he should burn people’s asses with sheer jealousy by revealing most of what he had, or simply let it go. In reality, he didn’t have anything he wanted to sell. Winter was approaching, and he would need every treasure to create valuable tools and clothes to be put in the stores.

"Oh wait, Thalvyr, I never heard you answer about—"

At that moment, Leo suddenly sensed several presences approaching him from a distance, as though they were coming specifically for him. Among them were a few familiar auras as well.

"Arrest him!"
