Chapter 1363: Amuseument Park Side Story (Part 2)
Most tourists from other places choose to stay in a homestay or resort near the amusement park a day in advance. The resort is newly built, with only the first phase completed. Most of the houses are for sale, while a few are allocated as welfare housing to the executives and outstanding employees of the amusement park.
Some of the houses for sale were bought by Boss Jiang Bing of Bingbing Inn, who renovated them uniformly as the high-end series of Bingbing Inn. Many owners who bought houses in the resort but cannot live there all year round saw that Bingbing Inn’s property management was good, so they simply rented their houses to Bingbing Inn, renting them out for 9 months a year and living in them for 3 months themselves.
In a sense, Bingbing Inn is actually considered a feature of Galaxy Theme Park. All the guests who book this inn know that the inn’s owner is the older sister of the owner of Galaxy Script Theme Park—a family business. The high-end series rooms of Bingbing Inn have themed decorations, including snow, interstellar, magic, and ghost house themes. It’s said that for an extra cost, the ghost house-themed room can really give you a haunted experience in the middle of the night.
To verify whether the ghost house-themed room was really haunted, Qin Huai booked it two years ago, and yes, there was a ghost.
The Ancient Man Tong Lili that Jiang Qi summoned would come to the room between 1:00 and 4:00 a.m., giving guests a simple scare based on their psychological endurance. The process was quite perfunctory, involving simply knocking over room decorations to make some noise and wake the guests, or at most, writing some bloody English words on the wall, often misspelling them, giving a feeling of clocking in for work.
This time, Qin Huai and others stayed in the most popular magic-themed and snow-themed lodgings. As to why they were the most popular with two series, it was because these two series of lodgings had a probability of receiving a visit from Lilith.
According to tourist statistics, this probability is as low as 3%, but due to Lilith’s beauty and the nice decoration of these themed lodgings, these two themed lodgings are constantly fully booked. Qin Huai only managed to book them by paying a scalper to snatch the reservation.
.
"Wow, this crystal ball can really float in the air. How is this done?"
Qin Luo was staying in the magic-themed room. Upon entering, she was just like the day she returned to the country and saw the buns Qin Huai made: touching this and exclaiming at that, almost wanting to pack everything in the room and take it home if conditions allowed.
Qin Huai glanced at the crystal ball floating in the air, unsurprisingly due to magic, and calmly said, "High-tech, this amusement park has special features made really well and spends a lot of money. The Snow Village we are staying in a few days later maintains a snow state in all seasons. In summer, it’s over 30 degrees outdoors, but in Snow Village, it’s sub-zero snowy. Just the electricity bill every year is astronomical."
Even though Qin Luo had already read about Snow Village on Wang Xinghua’s little book, she couldn’t help but exclaim.
After exclaiming, Qin Luo asked her most concerned question: "Bro, what are we having for dinner tonight? Where are we eating? Is there a restaurant in this resort?"
"There is a restaurant, but there’s also a night market nearby, with a shuttle bus available to take us there. Sister Hong wants to go to the night market tonight, and Chen Jun has to do homework, so he can’t join us for dinner and asked us to bring something back for him. If we are going, we should leave now, as Sister Hong is already urging in the group."
Qin Luo exclaimed, "Nowadays, elementary students have it tough. When I was in elementary school, I never did homework; I always copied."
Qin Huai: "...why don’t you mention that every time mom found out you were copying homework, she would take a hanger to hit you, and we broke more than ten hangers at home."
Qin Luo: (~ ̄△ ̄)~
After a brief rest, Qin Huai and the group happily went to the night market to find food, leaving Luo Jun alone in the living room on the first floor of the inn, writing test papers with a stern face, completely unaware that someone had been watching them closely.
In the amusement park, the employees of the financial department were surprised to find that Manager Jiang hadn’t left work on time today—it was already 17 minutes past office hours, and Manager Jiang was still in the office.
To ordinary employees of the financial department, Manager Jiang is their only true god. Gentle, pretty, well-dressed, with a good temper, and most importantly, extremely capable at work; for them, just accounting the simple bills, all the difficult work in the finance department is basically resolved by Manager Jiang alone.
During the busiest times of the year, the ordinary employees of the finance department showed the most concern for Manager Jiang. They couldn’t wait to hold tea and small cookies at the door of Manager Jiang’s office, waiting to pass the tea kindly when Manager Jiang came out for a drink, and saying, "You’ve worked hard."
"Why hasn’t Manager Jiang left at this time? Is there any big problem that requires urgent handling by Manager Jiang?" a newly hired junior accountant asked nervously.
"We didn’t hear about any recent changes. Our amusement park hasn’t built new projects or launched new activities. Weren’t the accounts for Train Tada all settled last month?"
"Is there a problem with the accounts?"
"Should we go in and ask?"
While the employees whispered, the door to the manager’s office opened. Jiang Cha, in a cheongsam, holding a small bag, came out calmly, looked at the crowd who had not yet left work, and asked, "Why haven’t you all left yet?"
