Chapter 511: Chapter 358: The World’s Strongest Dragon
Time seemed to freeze at this moment.
Gorsas’s massive body suddenly stiffened, all his furious roars and movements halted, leaving only a short and incredulous gasp from his throat.
His eyes, ablaze with blood flames, stared intently at the close-by Galos, as the frenzied power receded like a tide, leaving only the void and cold brought by his swiftly fading life.
"Im... pos... sible..."
At the brink of death, Gorsas briefly regained clarity, squeezing out fragmented syllables from his throat as blood and froth gushed from his mouth and the massive wound on his chest, instantly washed into pale red by the cold rain, flowing down his dragon body and plunging to the ground below.
Galos suddenly withdrew his blood-drenched Dragon Claw, even with fragments of a heart, and forcefully shoved aside Gorsas’s massive body, which began to lose its power.
Sigh... He breathed heavily, with each breath tugging at the horrific wound on his abdomen, bringing piercing pain.
The red lotus patterns on his body quickly dimmed and extinguished, and his fierce aura rapidly weakened like an avalanche, becoming feeble.
Gorsas, whose strength was undeniable.
Even though he finally defeated him, Galos himself had reached his limit of exhaustion, with the massive wound on his abdomen almost tearing him apart, delivering waves of nearly fainting pain.
Enduring the pain, he vibrated his broken wings, stabilizing himself in the rain, gazing at the falling Mad King.
Under the gaze of his own offspring, Gorsas’s massive body, along with the cold wind and rain, helplessly plummeted towards the devastated earth.
However, just as he was about to crash heavily onto the ground, a sudden change occurred.
The Giant Dragon that was supposed to die suddenly spread his equally broken wings, halting his downward momentum.
With a powerful flap of his wings, he astonishingly stabilized himself again, stubbornly standing on the ground.
Mad King Gorsas stood upright, with the massive blood hole in his chest shocking and his body covered in wounds, bone-deep.
Yet, he did not fall as expected.
A wicked, crazed aura, like a waking volcano, emanated from his body.
He lifted his head, looking at the Red Iron Dragon in the sky, gasping from exhaustion and injuries, with a twisted smile mixing pain, mockery, and extreme joy curling at the corner of his mouth.
"Dear son, what are you expecting?"
Sigh!
He suddenly flapped his wings, tearing through the thick rain curtain, soaring into the clouds again, arriving at the same height as Galos, despite his shaking form, the oppressive presence descended again!
"Expecting to watch me breathe my last?"
"But, you think... you can kill me?!"
Gorsas raised his head to roar, his wounds cracking open from the intense action, spilling more blood.
Yet, the spilled blood didn’t drip down, instead it bizarrely ignited, transforming into blazing blood flames, instantly enveloping his entire body.
The battle had lasted till now, and although Gorsas’s condition had indeed declined significantly, his aura was not as strong as it initially was.
However, overall, his current state was still far better than the exhausted, critically injured, near-death Red Iron Dragon.
Confident of victory, Gorsas grinned, exposing his sinister white fangs.
He savored this moment of reversal, licking the blood froth at the corner of his mouth, continuing, "Want to know how I survived the Federation’s encirclement?"
He was quite willing to share this glory before ending his opponent, his voice filled with delight.
"Heart? Head? ... These mortal, ordinary dragon deemed fatal weaknesses, to Gorsas, are long irrelevant!"
"As long as my crazed flames burn, as long as my will to destroy has not extinguished, I shall not die!"
"I, am the eternally burning destruction itself!"
As his words fell, Gorsas, with blood-flame engulfed wings, charged again towards the nearly incapable of maintaining flight Red Iron Dragon with overwhelming mad momentum.
Galos gazed at the charging Mad King, deeply inhaling the cold air, squeezing out the last bit of power within.
Once more, the battle!
Unfortunately, his current state was too poor, his power, speed plummeted.
In less than a minute, after a desperate confrontation, Gorsas seized a flaw, tightly clasping his burning blood-flame huge claw around his neck!
"I said, I would snap your neck!"
The Mad King grinned grotesquely, his arm muscles bulging terrifyingly, suddenly exerting force!
Crack!
A clear, chilling sound of bones cracking resonated.
Red Iron Dragon’s neck was snapped, his head tilted at an unnatural angle, the light in his eyes rapidly dimmed.
But this was not enough to quell his anger, Galos roared, trying to twist off the head of the Red Iron Dragon.
However, what happened next completely exceeded Galos’s expectations.
A warm and dazzling light suddenly lit up from the heart on the left chest of the Red Iron Dragon! That light, like a living stream, quickly flowed to the Red Iron Dragon’s limbs and every bone, and the wounds along its path, including the broken neck, rapidly regenerated and healed at a speed visible to the naked eye!
The heart that was originally weak and silent began to beat again vigorously, like war drums.
Crack... crack...
What shocked Galos even more was that the originally limp head of the Red Iron Dragon began to twist back inch by inch, firmly! The bones in the neck made a teeth-gnashing sound as they healed! The power contained was so immense, like a Giant Dragon turning over, making it difficult for Galos to continue his grip.
"Father, what are you expecting again?"
A low whisper faintly echoed in Galos’s ears.
An unprecedented chill swept through the Mad King’s entire body, and his heart sounded alarms.
Boom!
A tremendous power suddenly erupted, and the Red Iron Dragon easily broke free of his control.
That strong and powerful heart thumped violently, and dense golden lightning burst out again, fiercely dancing across his mighty dragon body.
He simultaneously activated the Excitement State and Blood Explosion State.
The Dragon Qi transformed into an arm again, launching a fierce attack at Galos!
"You?! How is this possible?!"
Galos flew into a rage, following a brief moment of shock and disbelief, he was utterly incensed.
He forcibly suppressed his injuries and re-entered the Wild State, the blood flames on his surface burned fiercely.
The Dueling Space had already collapsed, and now the sky was vast, he technically had a chance to retreat.
But the extremely swollen anger and the deeply ingrained combat instinct of a Wild Dragon left him with no thoughts of fleeing. Instead, he roared and fought fiercely with the seemingly reborn Red Iron Dragon.
This is the most deadly flaw of the Wild Dragon.
The Wild Dragon possesses incomparable combat strength, but once it goes into a killing frenzy, it will fall into a reckless, all-consuming battle frenzy until one side is completely down.
However, Galos’s condition was greatly inferior.
The forcefully activated Wild State also couldn’t reverse the absolute power gap.
After a few minutes of extremely intense aerial combat.
Boom!
A huge dragon shadow plunged straight down from the sky like a meteor, heavily crashing onto the ground.
Accompanied by soaring earth and stone, and an earth-shaking loud noise, the ground caved in, creating a huge pit, with web-like cracks spreading far and wide.
The broken body of Mad King Galos was located at the bottom of the pit, and Dragon Blood almost dyed the pit bottom into a pool of blood.
Just as he struggled to stand.
Another meteor followed closely behind, crashing down with a thunderous roar!
Boom!!!
In an earthquake-like terrifying momentum, the Red Iron Dragon plummeted down, heavily stomping on Galos’s chest and abdomen.
The massive force completely shattered the Mad King’s last scale armor, his whole body’s bones made a continuous breaking sound, and his life force faded rapidly like a candle in the wind.
Galos leaned down, a Dragon Claw tightly gripping the Mad King’s neck.
He spread his wings, ignoring the weak resistance, and once again soared straight into the sky, standing firm amidst the wind and rain.
"It’s over."
He gasped a bit, but his voice remained calm, echoing between heaven and earth.
"Father, in the end, I won this battle."
With a single claw, Galos lifted the Mad King high, staring straight into those frenzied blood-red eyes, declaring the final outcome.
At this moment, the body of the Red Iron Dragon was majestic, though covered in scars, yet it stood proudly in the high sky.
He seemed to have become the center of this world.
The rain and wind continued to howl, but the sound now seemed to be cheering for this victory, celebrating the imminent birth of the world’s strongest dragon.
