Chapter 501: Chapter 357: Father and Son (Part 2)

The massive body of Red Dragon Gorsas slightly leaned forward, roaring out each word distinctly: "Tell me! Letitia! Now! What exactly is going on?!"

The cold raindrops pattered against the Iron Dragon’s scale armor, creating a delicate sound.

She remained silent, shocked inside.

She hadn’t expected that even though Gorsas seemed so frenzied, he still possessed an extraordinary quick wit, closing in on the truth so swiftly.

"Look me in the eyes! Answer me!"

The low growl of the Red Dragon escalated into a thunderous roar, causing the rain around to scatter in disarray.

He pressed in step by step, the dangerous gleam in his eyes almost becoming tangible.

Suddenly, Gorsas’s movement came to an abrupt halt, as if he had stepped on something strange.

He looked down and saw, in the mud washed out by the rain, an unobtrusive fragment of a scale.

It seemed to have been there for some time, almost blending into the land, only now revealed by the cleansing rain.

The scale was black, but its edges gleamed with a faint silvery sheen.

—The Cold Burst Scale of Galos.

It was an old scale shattered and scattered on this land during a previous spar with Iron Dragon Letitia.

"Dragon Scale?"

Gorsas extended another front claw to pick up the mud-stained scale fragment and brought it closer to his nostrils for a thorough sniff.

A distinctive scent, mixed with sulfur and metallic notes, wafted into his senses.

"The scent of the Red Dragon... and the scent of the Iron Dragon..."

He muttered to himself, and suddenly, as if struck by a bolt of lightning in his mind, he raised his head sharply, his gaze turning fiercely towards Iron Dragon Letitia, baring his fierce white fangs.

"Letitia! It seems my previous warning to you wasn’t nearly severe enough!"

He demanded harshly, "Speak! Is this scale from that so-called King of Molten Iron?!"

Before the Iron Dragon could answer, Gorsas already spewed two jets of blazing flame from his nostrils, igniting his rage: "You wench! You actually conspired with other dragons to try and kill me!"

The atmosphere in the Celestial Pit Territory instantly solidified, and even the raindrops seemed to grow heavy.

"This is a trap! A trap aimed at me, Gorsas!"

The Red Dragon raged, his roaring voice shaking the heavens: "Letitia! I held onto a piece of old affection for you, so sincere and passionate! Yet you betray me like this! Damn it! You truly deserve death!"

"Do you think by relying on that ’King of Molten Iron’, emerging from who knows where, you can deal with me? Come on! Let him come! I’ll be here waiting! I’ll kill you all, leave none alive!"

He had completely seen through the decoy of the message. However, his inflated confidence and rage left him no intention of retreating; instead, he decided to stay in the Celestial Pit Territory for a direct confrontation.

Gorsas, his face full of ferocity, roared: "Before your good helper arrives, wench, I’ll first twist off your pretty head! Presenting it as a meeting gift to that bastard!"

"Then I’ll snap his neck! And sew your head back on! So that you can be together forever! Hahahaha!"

The provoked Red Dragon fully revealed his madly violent nature.

However, facing Gorsas in such a maniacal state, no fear appeared on Letitia’s face; she only slightly raised her head, her eyes gazing past the Red Dragon’s massive body, towards the distant sky shrouded in rain.

A brilliant meteor, tearing through the gloomy sky, burning with a long tail of flame, was streaking across the sky with an unstoppable speed!

It tore through the roaring wind and rain, tracing a beautiful and deadly arc against the leaden backdrop.

Its target clear, it plummeted straight towards the Celestial Pit Territory!

"Who?!"

"Who?!"

Red Dragon Gorsas, guided by animal instincts, turned suddenly, looking up to the sky, seeing that rapidly approaching point of light reflected in his pupils.

Boom! Boom!

Accompanied by expanding shockwave clouds, the meteor arrived above the Celestial Pit with unmatched speed; instead of crashing directly into the ground, it elegantly circled once, landing stably atop the rugged steep precipice as if a king had arrived, revealing its true form.

It was no extraterrestrial meteor.

The Lord of the Borderland, the undisputed ruler of the Northwest Region, the star of death—King of Molten Iron, Galos!

He has arrived!

In the curtain of cold rain, two bloodline-linked yet destined-to-be-deadly enemies, dragons finally faced each other for the first time.

Amidst the intertwining of wind and rain, two powerful giant dragons met for the first time, their gazes crossing in the air.

Steep dragon horns shining with a cold light.

Sharp and dense spines covered the back and joints.

The muscles bulging like steel brimmed with explosive power.

The protruding tusks from upper and lower jaws showcased a predator’s ferocity... the typical features of a Red Dragon could be clearly seen on Gorsas, yet they carried a unique flavor.

Galos squinted slightly, scrutinizing this Red Dragon Father.

He ultimately noticed the conspicuously bloody shine of the scale armor on Gorsas’s body, more vivid and striking than any Red Dragon he had seen, densely lined with indelible battle scar patterns, speaking of its owner’s countless battles and glories experienced.

Additionally.

Though perhaps not as robust as Galos himself, Gorsas’s physique far exceeded an average Red Dragon, accompanied by a size over twenty-six meters, larger than Galos, making him appear numerous times larger, with an extremely intense visual oppression and impact.
