Chapter 426: Chapter 331: Death Curse? For Me, Galos, It’s a Blessing! (Part 3)

At this moment, the Double-winged Corpse Demon, Abomination Giant Beast, Skeleton Warriors, and other powerful undead creatures surrounded him, trapping him tightly in the center.

Shire gripped the Cross Knight Sword in his hand, but his face showed no fear, only a cold and stern determination.

As a powerful being who also practiced the Arcane Knight path, not only did he have remarkable achievements in the Path of Space, but he was also strong in frontal combat. Aside from feeling helpless against unreasonable Legendary Domain defenses, breaking out of the encirclement of these undead creatures right in front of him wouldn’t be too difficult.

"Run! Why aren’t you running anymore?!"

Phillips raised his withered claw, and intense negative energy began to gather, preparing to unleash a powerful Binding Spell to cooperate with the undead and capture this annoying human.

Suddenly!

A violent whirlwind rose out of nowhere, swirling sand and stones, causing the surrounding grass and trees to sway chaotically.

Phillips’ Soul Fire flickered violently, and a strong sense of dread surged in his heart. Instinctively, he looked up at the sky.

A massive shadow tore through the clouds, carrying a suffocating turbulent airflow and scorching Long Wei, descending towards the ground like a meteor from heaven’s judgment.

The ear-splitting crash of its impact merged perfectly with the sharp whistle of the sky being torn asunder, echoing across the wilderness!

The King of Molten Iron, Galos, descended from the heavens!

The immense impact of his landing instantly crushed several high-level undead guarding by the Witch Demon’s side. Amidst the billowing dust, that familiar giant claw extended, effortlessly clasping the retreating Phillips in its grip.

At this moment, just as before.

The only difference was.

Staring at the giant, imposing dragon head before him, the fear Phillips felt this time was an absolute, soul-deep trembling.

"Good evening, little worm."

The Red Iron Dragon bared its massive maw, its vertical pupils locking onto the distorted face of the Witch Demon, as the giant dragon claw began to tighten slowly, a faint, nerve-racking sound of bone being crushed could be heard.

"This time, there will be no more chances for you to fake death."

The Witch Demon begged in a hoarse voice: "Wa... wait!"

However, before he could fully articulate his plea, that emaciated body was once again, without suspense, ground into the finest ashes and dust.

The remaining undead around lost the control of their master.

Yet, driven by an instinctive hatred for the living, they continued to launch frenzied attacks, only to be casually scattered into pieces by Galos with a swing of his massive tail or a swipe of his Dragon Wings.

"Mission accomplished, my lord, I have the Life Box."

Shire presented the Crystal Life Box with both hands, finally letting out a long breath of relief.

Galos pinched the Life Box with the tip of his claw, carefully inspecting and playing with it in front of his eyes.

Upon direct contact, he immediately sensed a pure and cold negative energy attempting to erode the scales of his claws.

The intensity of this energy was quite high, even causing him to feel a noticeable chill.

It wasn’t an ordinary chill, but a sort of cold that seemed to penetrate his thick scale armor, freezing his flesh, and sealing his soul in ice.

He began to apply more pressure with his claws.

Vigorous golden lightning entwined with deep black and red Draco Qi simultaneously coiled around his claw, fiercely colliding and clashing with the negative energy emanating from the Life Box’s surface. Powerful forces began to press against the weak Legendary Domain barrier on the box’s surface.

Without even entering the Red Lotus state, just a few seconds later, a fine cracking sound was heard, the domain shattered.

Since the Witch Demon had just died, the Legendary Domain on the Life Box was at its weakest, its intensity approaching nil.

Galos used an extremely sharp claw tip to pry open the Life Box’s outer shell.

In an instant, a dense, almost tangible negative energy, accumulated over millennia, surged out from the Life Box.

The surrounding air temperature plummeted, instantly forming countless gray-white snowflakes and ice crystals, and the ground was quickly covered in a layer of hard ice. However, the flowers and plants in the nearby area were not frozen but withered, decayed, and turned to ash in the sweep of negative energy.

This wave of negative energy crashed harshly against the body of the Red Iron Dragon.

The surface of his scale armor didn’t freeze, but he could clearly feel an extreme coldness penetrating to his core, as if a naked human were suddenly cast into an eternal icy wasteland.

Piercing pain continuously transmitted from the gaps in his armor, and his life force began to diminish at a slow yet discernible pace.

Yet, facing all this, Galos was unmoved.

He even tilted his massive head slightly, a satisfied, even slightly enjoyable expression appearing on his face.

With a look of intense anticipation in his eyes, he fully opened the Life Box, as if wishing for the negative energy within to be even more fierce, even more violent.

But the result left Galos somewhat disappointed.

After the Life Box was fully opened, no further torrent of negative energy surged forth, only at the center of the box lay a smooth, translucent pearl about the size of a thumb, surrounded by a dense cloud of negative energy.

Buzz—!

The negative energy inside the Life Box suddenly surged, rapidly coalescing into a blurred and twisted visage around the pearl.

"Now, we can renegotiate."

Galos fixed his gaze on the blurred and twisted face of the Witch Demon and said: "State your final worth to me, and I might consider accepting your belated allegiance."

However, unlike the first meeting where there was room for maneuver...
